Medow gave some very good points.  I would also lay out a business plan.  How much will it cost  for; location rent, insurance, hardware, pools, electricity, taxes, etc...  After all that, are we making a profit?  This can be a very exciting business to get into but please do your homework.

Good luck!!

I would think you would have better returns at home vs hosting.  Remember, hosts will charge fees in addition to the normal uses by the hardware.

Good luck!

Thanks for all the help!  There's a person who post in "pictures of your rig" section who has 15 SP31 rack and I've been trying to get a hold of him to see how he has put it together.

7  Bitcoin / Hardware / Spondoolies Tech SP35 Power and PDU Help on: February 10, 2015, 10:18:06 PM
Hi everyone

I want to set up a rack of Spondoolies Tech Sp35.  It's a 45u rack so I'd like to have 20 SP35s.  The power specs is listed below.   Would this pdu work for this situation?  Any ideas?

Thanks!

Three Phase Power. The panel  is a Siemans 3 phase load center, catalogue #G1224L312SCU Series A/ enclosure type 1. 125 amp max. 240 v rated for 3 phase. I can install single phase 30amp L6-30R plugs to keep cost down The SP-35s have a heat load of 3.5 KW, so I would be at a heat load of 70 KW per rack rating.

Hello everyone

Let’s say one has five miners and you’ve set up your pool to have five workers.  All five workers are then linked to your wallet account.  My question is, in your wallet should you have five separate address?  This way one can keep track of the income each miner is generating?

Thanks!

Hi Herb

Anything from Tripplite, you can't go wrong.  Follow the link below to see which pdu is best for you.  Once you have, you can see what the prices are at cdw, amazon, ebay, etc...

Good luck and let us know how it worked out.
