The coinswap from CV2 to COLX has ended. You can see the (near) final tally of coins on NovaExchange's details page: https://novaexchange.com/coinswap/147/12B coins were generated in the first COLX block for the swap. 10.309B coins were actually swapped There's still some manual swaps to process, but I can't imagine its in the hundreds of millions. We can round that up to 10.4B to be overly cautious though. That means about 1.6B were not swapped. 5% of unswapped coins are going to a dev-fund for marketing and bigger exchanges -- 80M coins That leaves 1.52B coins to be burned and an initial total supply of only 10.48B coins So total supply will 87% of launch supply. Since launch, the block reward has been 2500 COLX per block. For 4 months, that means 432M. That means in early January, the total supply will be just under 11B. The block reward is halving in early January to 1250 and around May will lower again to 1000, which means growth will slow down in 2018 a lot. All of the above means: * It will be a long time till we hit the 12B total supply mark * 80M coins (21BTC at current 27 sat rate) is now in the devs hands for marketing and hitting bigger exchanges) Both of those are great points for Colx and only should help it grow even more. Congrats dev team! Common! So in one day some guys swapped 6B coins? Bullshit! |

Im pretty much a noob, dont know much about staking.... but gonna give it a go. Will be watching some youtube vids and do a bit of reading on it. Anyone know how much one can expect to earn of colx by staking for say, a week?
Question #2 is. Whats the best way for someone to help out the community here? Just by spreading the word online? Maybe we can make an effort to join as many online crypto groups as we can and start posting those comparison pictures from the other page.
Wish there was a way we could help the actual development team.
It's hard to say, it depend how heavy are your blocks and how much colx are you staking, but around 1000 colx each 2 hours if you stake 10M in blocks of 100K each one using UTXO. Please, you are welcome to improve all the social media, also to check the code is you know about it. This is your coin. |

Yes I hope so too. I don't care about the value of the coins which are lost but if there is a bug in the code these should be fixed so COLX can grow in the future.

Damn, this is crazy man: what does appears when you write getstakingstatus in the console? And what size are your staking blocks? I split them up into blocks of 25,000. For the moment I am just not having the wallet unlocked for staking because I don't have time right now to recreate my MN in a new wallet file as was suggested. getstakingstatus gives me: 08:42:48  getstakingstatus 08:42:49  { "validtime" : true, "haveconnections" : true, "walletunlocked" : true, "mintablecoins" : true, "enoughcoins" : true, "mnsync" : true, "staking status" : true } It has not sense, xobrian, I hope presstab or sudo will be able to explain us whats happening with your wallet. |

it needs to be restarted every 7days otherwise it is NOT able to stake.
After restart it always receive stake immediatelly.
but block explorer doesn't work - http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/COLX/How many times do you receive coins from staking per 24h? May vary but are between 20 and 50 minutes each reward. But from 21 pm yesterday, I only ve been received orphan blocks. does not make any sense unless you are running node, which is completely different than stake. if you are telling true, then developers lies Nobody is lying here. I just split all the amount -around 8M- in outputs of 15K each one (using the UTXO tool), and each block stake so I'm staking every 30-50 minutes. This is my second round. I'm trying to figure what's better: if stake or run a MN. So far is very similar the rewards. If you do split, both or n splitted coins have exactly same mature age, you are literally not able to split it in the way that each portion is older by hour from previous one. Its just impossible to do.  |
