481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Confusion surround EOS claim on: December 14, 2017, 06:07:23 PM
If the tokens are showing in your eth address on the explorer, then you already have the tokens.
482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in ICO´s at ETH 700dollar on: December 14, 2017, 06:04:53 PM
Sup Guys,

Im planning to participate in some ICO´s like Trade or Naga....seemed like a good deal few weeks ago when ether was at 350 bucks.....but now at 700, does it even make sense to buy in an ICO atm?

Noob question: Do they give out more tokens per eth when the eth price is rising?

If an ICO is pricing in eth based then the fluctuation of eth price would not affect the number of tokens you would received unless otherwise they make necessary adjustment and make official announcement about certain changes.

And because it doesn't affect the number of tokens that means the tokens have gotten more expensive.
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much GAS is required to get your Ethereum transactions processed? on: December 10, 2017, 04:36:58 AM
Hope things will improve a bit soon. It's getting kind of annoying these high gwei prices on small transactions.
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When to Sell Cryptocurrency... on: December 10, 2017, 04:35:31 AM
You sell when you are content with the amount of profit you can take. This will immediately tell you if you're better off holding and going for the bigger money or if you can daytrade.
485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we Need Altcoin? on: December 10, 2017, 04:33:54 AM
Without altcoins the scene would be a lot more quiet, I don't think altcoins will disappear and I think they are a vital part of the crypto scene. Despite all the scams.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Network Crashing?? on: December 09, 2017, 02:07:17 PM
Man. I cannot even express how much i am freaking tired of all these bloody crashing coin topics. Even on bitcoin section, lots of topics about crash are popping up. You know what op, ethereum isn't that easy to kill. It had survived a lot of trials and became better after each one. And i highly doubt that this will be enough to kill ethereum.
Killing the whole network is actually making the whole network useless or end of the network. Actually that isn't happening right now. The whole network is congested by small transactions from crypto kitties game. The best solution for this problem is to run the game on an ETH sidechain if it supports else there same problem continues.

You're right the word useless is overdoing it. But it is having it's necessary effects, and for poor or cheap people I bet they are find the eth network pretty useless right now.
487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Cardano smart contract platform better than Ethereum and NEO? on: December 09, 2017, 02:03:32 PM
Cardano wants to be eth so bad its starting to look sad  Grin
Show it in practice, not just ideas from some whitepaper.
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀[ANN][PoSToken]First PoS Smart Contract Token[Lending Program Announced] on: December 09, 2017, 01:42:34 PM
The ethereum network is really bothersome right now.
How much gwei are you guys using for a pos tx? I used 40 gwei and still failed.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have $25k to dump it all on one or two ALT-Coins on: December 09, 2017, 01:21:48 PM
I would definitely do my own research regarding what coin to put money in and what coin to leave alone.
Threads like this are made for shills.
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Qsp tomorrow on Bittrex on: December 09, 2017, 01:19:24 PM
I thought bittrex never made announcement about if a coin is going to be listed on their exchange?
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Airdrops Profitable? on: December 09, 2017, 01:16:38 PM
They used to be ok.
But now most airdrops consist of a simple erc20 token that doesn't have any purpose, and a community of very poor people who will do and say everything to make a few dollars.
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the hell are Crypto kitties? on: December 09, 2017, 01:14:11 PM
I have heard that it is a viral game, causing the eth network to clog, at the same time I think that no game should be able to congest a serious project like etherum on this scale.
[/quote

It's very surprising to me that a small little game like this can really "kill" 1/5th of the whole network.
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: December 09, 2017, 01:10:01 PM
Supporting it for now till something more scalable and less centralized comes out. I don't want to deal with vitalik and co's centralized decision making about my investment.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MONA will rise midnight on December 7. A certain Japanese. on: December 06, 2017, 12:53:54 AM
MONA will rise midnight on December 7. A certain Japanese.
Most Japanese companies have bonus payment dates December 8 (7th night in the US is morning on the 8th day in Japan) so I think that certainly Bitcoin will definitely make a huge popular MONA coin in Japan will boom on this day . MONA coin developer says it made it with performance that can assume that MONA will be over 56 thousand dollars. It is still cheap. Remittance is fast, fees are cheap. A clean and cute virtual currency. It is made in Japan. A certain Japanese.

I don't think creating topics like these ever work.

Don't think Japanese are the people who wait for their monthly salary to buy kitty coins.

Thanks for the laugh  Grin
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum SCAM? on: December 06, 2017, 12:47:58 AM
I think this is just one of the propaganda to make ethereum bad because for the moment it is very strong and there's a very big number s of ethereum investor. If you would call ethereum a scam then so would be bitcoin and then all of the altcoins existing.

Im not saying ethereum is a scam but it's far from the same as bitcoin, coins have been premined and sold in an ico.
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC or DASH ? on: December 06, 2017, 12:43:25 AM
I like the development at dash better than at litecoin. Also the tech is more useful imo.
I'd go with dash.
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex.com SCAM 100% on: December 03, 2017, 05:12:49 PM
Don't know about them being a scam I read about it a lot though, what is definitely scammy is the way they let people deposit and they only give them their money back in exchange for a passport id.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto mining on: December 03, 2017, 04:59:27 PM
Or use one of those pools that automatically switch to the most profitable ones.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin fork in december on: December 01, 2017, 03:16:46 PM
All fork, which have already passed very well, influenced the price of bitcoin. Right after the fork the price went up. This suggests that people trust more bitcoin to the original

Even before some of the forks happened bitcoin was rising, but maybe that could be people who wanted more coins from the forks.
500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is draining the altcoins on: December 01, 2017, 03:10:45 PM
After bitcoin stabilizes (as far as bitcoin price can be stabile) things will return back to "normal" again, they always do.
