I am confused, the paper wallet generator here: http://vergecurrency.com/paper-wallet/index.html produces addresses that start with 1, but all verge block explorers use addresses that start with D. I assume th block explorer are correct... i there a correct paper wallet generator in existence? you need to select verge in the menu, not bitcoin lol

so does it stack up the amounts and then payout once a night? sounds fair no, it'll be each ip address can only play once every 24 hours
|
|
|
good to hear! it's fun to play while drinking some beer. great work btw!
i'm going to limit it to 1 payout per day, per ip tonight. way too many repeat players on it lol
|
|
|
did I miss something? Verge Faucet still not paying out?
it's paying out, just takes a while because so many people are playing it.

I think the roadmap with dates would be bad.
if the date isnt met, then it looks bad on the dev of anything...
Projects that say, it gets done, when its done. look better to me.
than a project that says, ill get it done july4th...and then fail... or worse then have to say, well i meant july4th 2030....
lol
and how can anyone set a date for something, that theres no START date yet.
First you have to talk to the RSK for btc dev, and see what thats done....
then we can figure out how it works out for something else.
makes logic to me
The road map is fine. Mpst of the dates just say July. yes, however some of them may be ready much sooner =]

Dev, do you thing that Ticks in circles should be more visible? I had to try hard to see which things are completed, because ticks are not bolded, neither visible enough in my opinion. Ticks should stand out to make a statement What do you think? yeah we can do that, but we aren't going to change the entire thing. maybe make the check marks stand out more. this is the roadmap until it's complete, then we'll make a new one after all these things are done. Will you guys be releasing a lite wallet and also an IOS wallet?? thasnk weve already release a lite wallet. right now, we are looking into iOS options. May I know pls when RSK contracts are scheduled to be released? Thank you. they are still in testnet for bitcoin, so when they're completed for bitcoin, that's when we'll start. do you currently use RSK contracts for ethereum? if so, what are the parts you like the most/least? These questions are what I had in mind when suggesting approximate target dates for Road Map implementation. Target dates provide guidance to those checking things out and ultimately provides confidence in Dev Team as they continue to implement according to projections - it builds credibility in the whole project which goes a long way in attracting and keeping new money and right new "New Mone" it's where is at. Also a brief summary of each mile marker on the road map would help with those not necessarily tech savvy but ver money savvy. we already have that on our website roadmap. maybe you need to ctrl+F5 so you can refresh your cache and see it.

Some of us in the community want to be long term holders of $XVG any thoughts of implementing PoS? This would be an awesome eco friendly option to all wanting to go very long on coin plus it would provide much value.
Agreed! Would LOVE this future, im hodling! we are considering energy efficiency in the future, but right now some of our PoW algorithms are already very energy efficient

Hello Dev
When XVG is going to segwit activation ??
Thanks
our roadmap is on our website. there is no plans of segwit right now, why would you think we need it, im curious?

new roadmap graphic is up on our main site, vergecurrency.com
Much love for the new Website but what happened to the ROADMAP TIMELINE? Would be nice to have each item on Roadmap be a Link pointing to a subject expansion paragraph and an "implementation by" date. If it's supposed to be like this it's not working on my end. Would be nice to have new site feature a "Contact Us" link and also include a "Latest $XVG News" feed Lastly, implementing a quarterly or monthly "Newsletter" with an email sign-up option might be a good idea. well, exact dates just aren't possible with some of the points. we can only put ~rough estimates. looks cleaner this way, and as long as people pay attention to our twitter and this thread, they'll know what's going on anyway.

I ve got the normal electrum wallet connected now with the default network settings (after initially getting some "server is lagging" messages).
However, the tor one is not working. I have the tor browser running and tried "SOCKS5" 9050 and 9150, shutdown + restart the wallet, shutdown + restart tor, selected server manually, and so on. It just remains "not connected" and the X in the right corner is also permanently. I am using the GUI by the way.
I get your normal electrum wallet connect through tor though using SOCKS5 and 9150.
yes 9150 if you are running the tor browser bundle. if you are on linux it uses 9050. can you try again and take a screenshot of the network settings tab open you can pm me directly if you dont want to post that here.
