I guess you have not opened the wallet for 3-4 weeks. The wallet runs on Tor network, thus the connection is quite slow. You have to leave the wallet open to sync for 2-3 hours.

It`s true that ETH made BTC bleeding. But as in case of most ICO/ITO, ETH price will come down in the coming weeks and will rise after the release of news from ETH team, while BTC will consolidate on lower price and will at least double until the next halving (July 2016).
