2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 50,000 BTC of auction have been sent! on: March 10, 2015, 07:48:50 PM
How much did the winning people bid on each coin? Was it less or more than the current price?
Couldn't find this anywhere even on Bloomberg :/

I think the decisions on that haven't come out yet. They should be out within this week. But it seems they were higher than the market price.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Look at where I am planning to go with BTC :) on: March 10, 2015, 07:48:06 PM
THe page is in russian, so can't really view or understand much. As for excursions with bitcoin, I had a vegas trip last year with bitcoin alone. Smiley
Lucky guys. I haven't got enough Bitcoin to spend, im on saving mode until I feel comfortable enough with my savings.

Well I never said it was something all I earned. I started my bitcoin journey with purchasing 3 BTC for almost 2000$.
And part of that is what I used.

6  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: March 10, 2015, 07:00:17 PM
Why does the software update everytime I open it is getting kinda annoying I just want to play !

It doesn't happen everytime with me. SInce they are upgrading their software regularly, it might be that you are playing in 2-3 day intervals, and because of that have to download the software everytime.
7  Economy / Goods / Re: Buy GLITTER BOMB GREETING CARDS with Bitcoin on: March 10, 2015, 06:58:35 PM
I was looking up at the glitter bomb reviews on youtube. Seems a lot of other people are selling and fails https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8taEx249cs

No offence, but your video seemed a bit less dramatic as well. Any possibility of making it more intense ?
8  Economy / Gambling / Re: Twitch.tv Betting Game on: March 10, 2015, 06:57:43 PM
Interested maybe. It usually depends on the game, and how would you ensure the safety of funds ?
Maybe you can make this interesting for people by adding an escrow or someone.
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: Qualcomm funds startup to use Bitcoin for Internet of Things on: March 10, 2015, 06:52:00 PM
I am still curious about what exactly is the company going to come out with ?
The site only indicates miners for now.
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the blood on the street drying up? on: March 10, 2015, 06:50:49 PM
It looks like some upward pressure is building and I'm not sure I like it. This rise is fast enough that it looks like another bubble. It would be better, IMO, if we saw a rise of $5-6USD per week. But whatever. \

ACtually I feel the rise hasn't been in the bubble trend this time. Usually I have seen price rising and falling by 50 $ in one day. but this time its going up slowly, and has been a lot of days that it has been increasing since.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: You Waited Long Enough ... $300 Bitcoin Happens Today!!! on: March 10, 2015, 06:49:08 PM
It seems to be oscillating between $290 and $295.
I would like it to cross $300.... and stay there.  Smiley

Its actually already been over 300 on Finex Already. Due to that itself pressure is on stamp to not break 300.
We can only hope or buy for it to reach over 300 in the next 2 days
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: Pressure is building, this thing is gonna blow! on: March 10, 2015, 06:48:00 PM
I doubt we will be crossing 300 on Stamp tonight. The pressure is still equal on both sides as we have already cross 300 on finex.

Maybe we will see 300 by tomorrow on stamp. 10$ increase a day has been the usual trend.
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 10, 2015, 06:46:15 PM
"auction? what auction?"

Why would they sell when there are a lot of cretins that are buying right now ? I mean, those who won the auction are making mad profits as we speak. You will see the results in maximum 7 days

Sssh. You have been wrong for weeks.
The auction winners would only sell if they are able to get a much bigger profit. Because selling would drive the price down anyways
14  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcoin in China on: March 10, 2015, 06:40:16 PM
There is not too much effect to the exchange.
We still can buy or sell bitcoin in Exchange as OKCOIN, HUOBI, in China.
Deposit fiat money is not convenient as before,  but still very simple.
Bitcoin is a legal asset, but not a legal money.

So the exchanges still have bank accounts then? The government hasn't blocked these?
Well it was one of the rumor, that BTER hack was an inside job. And one of the reasons it happened right now was due to the fact that the exchange forsaw a ban coming up in China and made it happen before it was completely executed. But all of these are for now just rumors.

15  Other / Politics & Society / Re: irish loophool, 100 drugs legalized on: March 10, 2015, 06:38:01 PM

Even if it was a loophole , I wonder how did someone come across and revealed it. Seems a massive blow of sorts to the law makers of the country.
16  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The NSA’s Call Records Program Didn’t Stop a Single Terrorist Attack on: March 10, 2015, 06:35:59 PM
Would the NSA really release every single hit they made?

Even I think there would obviously be some reason to continue their program. They must have had some success which is probably the reason to still continue it.

18  Other / Off-topic / Re: If BTC goes to $1000 or more, what would you do? on: March 10, 2015, 06:19:56 PM
Well to be honest I would sell Smiley
I am not a big fan of the volatility of bitcoin, and have suffered huge losses already. I would be happy to sell.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: African migrants using Bitcoin to send money home on: March 10, 2015, 06:18:34 PM
3% fee, what a rip-off!
I see huge opportunities for shops to accept BTC in Kenya.

I have been hearing about Africa being one of the first countries to use bitcoins for remittance. The fees can range upto 40-50% of the transaction amount. SO bitcoin is obviously the best solution for them
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 21 Jobs on: March 10, 2015, 06:17:29 PM
What can we tell about the projects at 21 from their jobs page?

https://21.co/#jobs

Looks like a mix of things. Mostly it seems to be mining hardware based on the job description. Could be other things as well.
