Hi!

The refund for the first stage will be starting soon. The total refund in the first stage is 1000 DOGE.
Every user receive a share of the 1000 DOGE. The refund depending on the total FGHS and the User FGHS. Each Miner Type has another worth of refund.

You can see your estimated refund on the account page. After the refund we will payout every user to Faucetbox instant.

The prices for the S5 are low so that my GHS is almost nothing worth. Sad
Before the big difficulty increase, my GHS were 0.75 BTC worth. After the big difficulty increase my GHS is 0.30 BTC worth. This in fact 0.46 BTC (60%) loss.

God knows, my GHS is in February only 0.15 BTC worth.

727  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ore-mine explicit ponzi, ANN with collapsed report. on: January 17, 2016, 02:55:24 PM
Always the same plan of scammers.

Especially after Sector offered The New Year's Mine the problems began with a team who arrested Ore-Mine server.
The exit scam of Ore-Mine remembers me on Cryptospot, after the owner released the HYIP program, he stoled the bitcoin and cryptospots and said he was hacked by Bulgarian Cyber Army.

Perhaps Sector was mining BTC for the standard mines and wait a loooong time until he offered the very profitable New Year's Mine and people trusted him without thinking that Ore-Mine won't disappear very soon.
At least Sector didn't show that he is banned from accessing Website Administration Panel or ftp account.

What we learned? Trust never a site who is stable for a looong time and offered then high interest, low roi, started a hyip program or made a big sale on their miners.
728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Protect a Wallet on VPS on: January 17, 2016, 01:45:44 PM
Encrypt the wallet. Do not allow anyone else to access the VPS. If you can, you should put an IP whitelist so that only your ip address can access the VPS.
Is there any instruction to put the IP on the whitelist?

The white list IP is pretty important. But if your computer get's compromised and it's on that IP... can lead to bad things.  If you throw a VPS up it is really a hot wallet as it's connected to internet full time, that does not excite me on wallet.

Is there any reason you have to use a hot wallet?  I guess what is project?
I'll run a Wallet on a VPS because it is the hotwallet for the altcoin.
The project is a mining game where user can claim Miners and mine two cryptocurrencies. Therefore the website connect to the Wallet via RPC to send the funds.
Large amounts will be sent after manual verification from personal wallet.

Hi!

In my next project, I would like to run an altcoin on a Ubuntu VPS and integrate this in my project to withdraw.
Therefore I ask how can I protect the funds on a VPS. I have already experience that I can allow a IP to connect with the RPC and the wallet shouldn't be used as root but as a new user.

730  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Ore-Mine.org: 2427.18+ BTC paid. NEW YEAR'S MINES ADDED! The real income. on: January 15, 2016, 10:16:59 PM
So no news...
Sector, don't leave us.
Don't host it in Russia again. Load back up somewhere else.

Sector said, he hosted in Ukraine. I am sure, Russia would have been a safer choice. But with proper encryption and a good backup system, this does not even matter.
Or a server in the country with freedom of speech.

It's hard to believe that Sector lives in Germany.

The 'New Year's Mine' must exactly offered after someone arrested the server of Ore-Mine. This is definetely a (fake) news or the effects of the profitable 'New Year's Mine' who a group of people think Ore-Mine is just starting a hyip where the standard mines wasn't a hyip.

is it possible to make a logout button in your script ?
Yes. Here is a instruction.

1. Add in 'includes/core.php' before ?> the following code:
Quote
// LOGOUT

if(isset($_GET['logout'])){
   unset($_SESSION['address']);
   session_destroy();
   header("Location: index.php");
   exit;
}

2. Add in 'index.php' after the following code on line 12:
Quote
   $content .= "<a href='account.php' class='btn btn-primary'>Account/Stats/Withdraw</a><br /><br />";

this code:

Quote
 $content .= "<a href='?logout' class='btn btn-danger'>Log Out</a><br />";

Done. The user can logout anytime.

Been having problems all day withdrawing from Hashnest.  The website is fast enough, able to navigate around with little trouble, but when I attempt a withdraw I get to the google auth page and it just sits there and finally times out and says invalid 2FA.

Any ideas or anyone else experiencing this?

The same issue here. It took much time after I've requested a withdraw to load.
After the site finished with load, I got the error "Google Code error".

Now I've made a withdraw request again and the system transferred the amount to my wallet and the balance wasn't decreased.
Maybe a system bug?
735  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Coinurl.com got banned.. on: January 04, 2016, 08:01:11 PM
I've moved from coinurl to adf.ly few months ago.
On Coinurl you earn only 1000 Satoshis while adf.ly or other link shortener pays you $ Amounts.
The mininum withdraw on Coinurl.io is quite high.

Maybe Coinurl got again new owners and forgotten to change their ToS.

It's in the directory /templates/.

The best idea is to block VPS because on VPS runs Bot like the Coincollector Bot that works with Faucetbox, Paytoshi, ePay etc... .
Block VPN/Proxy/TOR is a open question. There can be real users that is hidden by using VPN/Proxy and TOR and they would click ads for a paying faucet. The other thing Bots can be behind VPN/Proxy or TOR. That means a User can run a Bot on VPS with active VPN/Proxy or TOR.

Use E-Mail Address for verification won't help. There are tons of trash-mail address that can be used for E-Mail verification unless you've a script that checks if the mail address is a trash mail. A experienced developer can create a bot that joins with a trash mail and verify the email by using a html scraper and Captcha solve services.

Integrate a phone number verification isn't a bad idea. The important point here, you can find phone number verification services for free at the World wide web. The best choice is to verify a phone number using Whatsapp. This cost almost nothing and for a experienced developer a easy task.

My result: Blocking VPS Provider is the best choice because on such VPS runs Bots without large energy cost and this is profitable for the Claimers. Use E-Mail for verification won't really help. Blocking VPS/Proxy/TOR is hard to answer and the last one verification by using Whatsapp is a good idea that cost almost nothing and it's absolutely free from bots.

You said there could be real users behind tor/vpn who would click ads for paying faucet but some ads aren't even showed for tor/vpn and those that are pay very low.
So when half of tor user are bots and other half makes very low ad profits there is no reason to let them access your faucet.

True. Then block VPN/Proxy or TOR is a good idea. Maybe they could get 80% of the payout what he should normally get.
