41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have 12 Bitcoin. What should I do??? on: November 08, 2018, 05:38:56 AM
Based on the success and free time that I have, I have decided to research the top 200 altcoins and release at least one analysis of them a day. Will release the results in this group (first 500 to join will get access to the premium group) Link below...

https://t.me/CookieCrypto

I have 12 Bitcoins. I am not a whale. I started about 6 months ago with 0.01 Bitcoins and $1000. I turned it into 12 Bitcoins so far and am pretty proud to say the least.

My question is, what do I do now?

As far as I can see, I have 4 options;

1) Hold the Bitcoin

2) Invest in altcoins and leave a little in Bitcoin

3) Fund a project and start my own cryptocurrency that solves a problem that current currencies face (scalability, Tx fees etc.). With the funds, I would be able to assemble a team, start a marketing campaign, get listed on exchanges etc. I am also a programmer which helps.

4) Convert it to fiat (probably the dumbest idea)

Edit: I should also add, I dropped out of school and have all the time in the world so can fully commit to any idea. I will earn my living of cryptocurrencies.

A few people have asked how I made my money so, if you are interested, here is a short summary:

Initially, I put it all into Bitcoin during the massive FUD of the fork around June when Bitcoin dipped to $1,900. Then I put half my money into NEO before all of the hype at around $12 and cashed out at $40. Then I invested in a couple ICO's and turned a pretty good profit of off the hype. After that, I got back in on NEO as soon as China announced the regulations regarding ICO's and rode the wave back from around $20 to $40 (I can't quite remember). Then, I rode the hype of Ethereum Dark, eBitcoin and a few other airdrop scams. Finally, I got in on Wincoin before it got to coinmarketcap and turned a 20x profit.

Sell it and wait for BTC price to fall. Then buy it, wait for it to grow and sell it. I made 20k per week buy such simple actions, so you can make it too.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can we protect ourselves from scam? on: November 08, 2018, 05:36:44 AM
The crypto world is so vast and they are interest from all continents of the world. Some investors / projects came with good intentions to make the world a better place while some to defraud investors and projects founder. Can we have a better way correct scam and lapses?

Only people who do not make any investment are protected from scam for 100%. Others are not so lucky, so they need to be attentive all the time.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What should I go for? on: November 08, 2018, 05:34:11 AM
I want to invest  $500 in crypto market. I have studied a little bit about the market. As I am not experienced in this sector, I am a little bit confused where should I invest?
I know my capital is too little.
Would it be wise to invest in Alt coins?
Or should I go for the ICOs?

Pay attention to the community behind the token that you are going to invest. If it is strong enough, you make invest all your money, but be aware of bots.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what coins are best to buy now? on: November 07, 2018, 05:38:20 AM
Hey guys , in this topic I'll show you the coins should grow in price.
As we know the successful launch of Mainnet or Testnet pushes the price up.
The screen shows a list of coins for which Testnet and Mainnet are scheduled to start, date and total capitalization.

Especially I want you to pay attention to coins with low capitalization, since they are easiest to make a lot of X's. Of course, this does not mean that you need to buy all these tokens, you need to carefully study what you are investing your money into. And remember about the bank management!
Now the market is on the correction and I think this is the ideal moment to buy coins that you liked.
What coins I bought: TRON, EOS, Ontology, Theta, VeChain, Aeternity.
Write your thoughts on this, it will be interesting to listen;)
P.S sry for my english

Now I’m making mostly classic investments - I buy BTC and Ethereum. Because they remain confident leaders of the crypto market, and in any case they will be more expensive next year. I also believe in the excellent development potential in the future Ripple, EOS, NEO, Waves, monero and tron.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many ALT hodlers are selling and leaving this market: They are Fools! on: November 07, 2018, 05:35:12 AM
I don't think they decided to leave the crypto market. At this stage of the crypto market, only the smartest investors remain here who understand perfectly - after such a major fall, the market will in any case restore its position. Therefore, in any case, they will return when the first prerequisites for a rise in price of cryptocurrency appear.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I invest to Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: November 07, 2018, 05:27:56 AM
BTC will recover pretty soon, so take your chances to get some BTC right now, before price had become extremely huge once again. Remember my words.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How Far are we from the bull run on: November 07, 2018, 05:25:31 AM
Its been about 8 month since we are in bloodbath. market has not shown any signs of recovery till yet. what do you think that what december will bring to us.. ?

Most likely, in December we will not see a brisk market growth. I also agree with the opinions of other users who are talking about a gradual increase in the price of coins from the beginning of next year. In the meantime, we just have to buy and hold reliable cryptocurrencies, while their prices remain at a minimum.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: top 5 altcoins to consider on: November 06, 2018, 08:17:27 AM
I hope that you will not pay attention to all these suggestions, because true investor looks for the options on this persons own. You will be responsible for it.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who will be the new king on: November 06, 2018, 08:15:05 AM
Now the mainstream currency, BTC-ETH, has the upper hand, and they have the strength and technology, but the future is likely to be a new project to replace them more mature and more comprehensive. What do you think it would be?

I am fully confident that Bitcoin and Ethereum will continue to dominate the current crypto market. Over the coming decades, BTC will in any case remain a confident leader among cryptocurrencies, it has become a universal way for transactions and hold for many users and investors.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold your coins in multiple wallets on: November 06, 2018, 08:12:15 AM
Hi,

I lost some coins this year (my own fault in Phising)
But if you send your coins to multiple wallets you can split your investments better.

When your wallet is hacked you only lose this wallet.
This is my lesson for the next time  Smiley (and some other securities)

What do you do to secure your coins / tokens?

Such strategy may damage the mobility of your tokens. When coin is dropping down, you may want to sell it as fast as possible and multiple wallets are an obstacle.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 is not a very prosperous year for cryptocurrency on: November 06, 2018, 08:10:09 AM
I hope that 2019 will be better, because expectations will be lower. Last nine month whole market waitng for the recover and 2019 will show that recover is impossible.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum be more stable in the future? on: November 05, 2018, 10:02:33 AM
Ethereum is young in relation to bitcoin, its market capitalization continues to grow every day. Ethereum became very popular when many tokens started using their smart contracts. Many ICOS are based on the Ethereum platform. Will it be more stable in the future? What do You think about this?

According to the data that is available public, there is no way for it. When there will be strong competitor, Ethereum will die pretty fast and it is obvious.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain is creating waves in digital era on: November 05, 2018, 10:00:40 AM
The incorruptible  ledger is making rounds in the most untouched sectors of digital market. Is this snake oil or the real deal?

Most of blockchain projects were not aimed at digital sector, they are aimed at real sector of economy, so the current situation does not surprises me at all.

Advertiser will never share responsibility with the creator of advertisment. However, you have to find some way to obtain an insurance for such situations.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much do you on average are investing in an ICO? on: November 05, 2018, 09:55:49 AM
What is the $ equivalent of your average ICO investment?  Huh

50 dollars, never more. If the project is great, payoff will be great. If the project is bad, I would not regret about invested money very much. As simple as that.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Cryptos finally getting stable? on: November 03, 2018, 08:22:16 AM
It feels like it's this time of the year again for the bullish market. Not sure if it's gonna the same as last year though. But many will recover. Whaddya think?

I think we're very close to that. The market is at the same level for several months and it is very similar to the fact that we are as close to stability at the moment. It's weird for me and I want to grow.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum SCAM? on: November 03, 2018, 08:17:45 AM
I have already seen the news and I immediately realized that this is complete nonsense. how can one of the best cryptocurrencies on the market be scam? I can't put a thought like that in my head at all.

59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you make money from ICO? on: November 02, 2018, 11:09:30 AM
An initial coin offering is similar in concept to an initial public offering (IPO), both a process in which companies raise capital, while an ICO is an investment that gives the investor a cryptocoin, more commonly known as a coin or a token in return for investment, which is quite different to the issuance of securities as is the case in an IPO investment. Do you invest in ICO? and has you make money from it?

It's not as hard as it sounds. I try to invest in those projects that will give me a profit after a few months. They exist and there are a lot of them. I think there's a lot more of them than we know.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the crypto market really for anyone? on: November 02, 2018, 11:01:43 AM
I am absolutely sure that today the crypto market is not suitable for all people. After all, not every person can accurately predict the prospects of the market and specific cryptocurrencies. It is unlikely that many people would be able to normally survive such a rapid fall in the market in excess of 80%. Therefore, people with sufficient knowledge and skills need to work in the market now, understanding the risks existing here.
