I dont understand why newbie don't hang around a bit more until stay start making a loan. If you go around in downtown and ask a foreigner to lend you 1 USD then they obviously say NO! Feel ashamed to cheat people. Go to earn it in the right way instead!

I got mine recently on eBay. You can get it for around 80 Euro and pay there using paypal

Thanks for the idea. After removing the USB hub the problem is gone. now I only need to figure out why the cgminer suddenly stops mining after a while

Have you seen what error it outputs and/or what state it ends up in?

The problem is that I did not see any output. It looks like a user press the "q" for quitting the cgminer.
After running it a few times, it is running longer. now it already running 3 hours without a break. thanks again for the advices. I was almost in the position to resell the stupid antminer U3

Did anybody get the latest cgminer working with the antminer U3 (on raspberry) to run longer than 1 hour?

after max. an hour the cgminer stops working (auto exit) or the miner becomes zombie

My console is also displaying a lot of the LIBUSB_ERROR_IO. Any ideas?

I used the latest version of cgminer with the default configurations

hi guys,

after reading the whole thread, I decided a few days ego to buy an U3. After starting with U2+ I was thinking it would be time to continue with U3. But unfortunately the setup is not as easy as for the U2. I won't recommend the U3 for beginners.

I use my U3 with the Raspberry pi + cgminer from ckolivas
