looks like the year 2015 is cleaning up a lot of BTC pockets. Many scam sites are sneaking away with the peoples BTC

6  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Localbitcoins.com schliesst für Deutschland on: December 29, 2014, 10:43:38 AM

7  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: coins-miners.com Is Scam and Not Pay - Do not Invest Here on: December 29, 2014, 10:27:52 AM
I saw that a few sites call coins-miners.com as scam.

And I think you will know it after you visit their site. Its down as well. So it means they ponzi scheme is finally broken!
8  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: coins-miners question about investment on: December 29, 2014, 10:25:44 AM
It is a scam, you won't get anything back. the owner is trying to cheat your BTC.
9  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER U3 Discussion and Support Thread on: December 25, 2014, 10:47:23 AM
I dont want to send anything back , unless you think its broken

What does Zombie mean? does it mean its broken and cant be fixed? Is there anything I can do to ensure that it stays mining and not saying ZOMBIE ?

I have an antminer u3
7 port Powered USB HUB, with AC adapter
ZADIG 2.1.1
CGMINER 4.8.0

I actually also had this problem at the beginning. After removing the powered hub between the antminer and my Raspbian, it stopped displaying Zombie in the cgminer

We need to flush out ideas because community exists for that mostly... We can only wait and see if devs are going to do something about these ideas... First and foremost we need tools that are easy to use and multiplatform. So in short if we offer easy way to use WKC and in the same time that they can save money and be anonymous that is pure win...

I agree for that. Most time there are for every Crypto Coin a wallet. Wouldn't it be easier to access to have one wallet app for multiple Crypto Coins?

WKC has another problem. Not everyone wanna the wallet be on the computer. a digital smartphone wallet would increase the use of WKC like BTC
11  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Antminer U3 Group Buy EU, Anyone Interested? on: December 04, 2014, 12:52:01 PM
Seems bitmain removed the U3 from their page?

Edit: found the page via google, says they're sold out. Wonder if they've discontinued the product..?

Edit2: email from bitmain: "It may open sale again later, pay attention to our website for update."

Actually you can get the U3 immediately via eBay (seller bitshopper) for around 80 Euro. Shipping took around 3 days.
The Miner is already in germany (Europe).

And the shipping from bitshopper was at least to germany NOT 32 Euro. I paid for the shipping around 6 Euro.
So save money and time and google for the required information
12  Economy / Services / Re: [SimpleDice] Looking For Beta-Testers! Get Paid! on: December 03, 2014, 10:52:33 PM
We are only looking for professionals, or people who know what they are doing.

What are you looking for? ISTQB Tester?

Its a joke. A professional tester costs normally min 25 USD per hour for finding bugs and writing reports.
13  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer U3 Discussion and Support Thread on: December 03, 2014, 10:45:01 PM
......

Cool: U3s remain cool and quiet due to its 80mm fan which quietly exhausts air out the side of the case.

Stable and Accurate: Based on the tried and tested BM1382 chip, the U3 is extremely stable and is able to run 24 hours a day without problems.

Exquisite: The refined design of the U3 allow it to blend on any desk or shelf without standing out.

After running a few days....

Actually I don't think it is quiet. After running it on the table for a few hours, I feel annoyed of the sound from the fan.
And the other point about putting on the desk: I won't recommend it. It is making too much heat on the table.

Good question... When you add and subtract it is very close... I think you can do better with mining BTC and buying WKC atm...

the advantage is that BTC is more common trade coin for almost everything. nobody knows about the WKC. As it might loose value totally. But in the other view it is easier to mine.... I'm really not sure what is totally better
15  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: The difficulty HAS BEEN REDUCED!!!! on: December 03, 2014, 06:21:48 PM
It might be a tiny reduction, but I think that the start of a new era is now becoming more obvius. We kept seing mining becoming more centralised, mining at home kept becoming harder while the difficulty was constanly rising and the price was around 350. I believe that this reduction was caused by home miner being pulled off the wall because of not being profitable anymore.

It's possible that there was a genuine reduction in capacity, but with this small a difficulty change it's also pretty likely that it's just a result of statistical variances and we have no real way of knowing whether the network is expanding or contracting. In a network where there's no actual change in capacity, variances of +/-5% are pretty likely: http://hashingit.com/analysis/28-reach-for-the-ear-defenders

Indeed it is, but mining used to be an arms race. The total network hashrate was constantly increasing for more than a year until this point.

I think it will go back around christmas time. then most of us forget that it decreased. its not much compare to the increasing within the last two months
16  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BFGMiner 5.0.0: GBT+Stratum, RPC, Mac/Linux/Win64, BlackArrow Prospero, KnC Nep. on: December 03, 2014, 05:53:11 PM
will the new bfgminer 5.0 support antminer u3 like the cgminer?
17  Other / Meta / Re: Two-Factor Authentication for BitcoinTalk on: December 03, 2014, 12:22:42 PM
the question is why would we need this security on the forum? Many guys would like to check some news immediately instead of digging out the cellphone for the code. I think its an overhead that would block the flow of communication.

In the other view of course we would like to put everything into a safe to make us fell save.

will it be better to mine WKC directly or is it better to mine BTC and trade to WKC? can anyone give me a suggestion?
19  Local / Anfänger und Hilfe / Re: Purse.io - Bringt das was? on: December 02, 2014, 05:05:27 PM

So lieber Herr x y aka Glumanda!
