42  Economy / Services / [For Hire] Etherum smart contract development on: February 13, 2019, 08:52:19 PM
I am a competent solidity developer and would like to offer my development services here on the forums. In the past few years I've completed several smaller solidity based projects here in the forums and will have previous clients post vouches when they have time. I can write most things one would need in terms of an etherum smart contract. These include, but are not limited to, ERC20 tokens, ERC721 non-fungible tokens, escrow contracts/wallets, and more. I work quickly and provide clean and well tested code. All of my smart contracts have 100% code coverage and come with a private github repository. I can work solo or as part of a team for larger projects.

I am slowly but surely starting to clean up and release several of my older projects opensource. Among the several reasons for doing this is to have some examples of previous work available for potential clients. My github is: https://github.com/nomadcrypto and a recent solidity project I just released opensource is a multi-user and multi-token wallet contract that supports ETH, ERC20 and ERC721 tokens. The contract code has 100% code coverage and is well tested - https://github.com/nomadcrypto/multiwallet

I am not interested in sweat equity type positions(e.g. working for tokens, unless the token already has a decent market cap/volume). I can accept nearly any larger market cap cryptocurrency as payment.

As always escrow is welcomed and encouraged.

45  Economy / Services / Re: Need Dicebot or Python script made for casino dice game. Willing to pay premium on: January 20, 2019, 02:00:31 PM
I've got a complicated idea that I would like to turn into a betting strategy (only for my personal use)

I will need this made in lua/python so that I could use it on dicebot, or I will need a custom bot/script made that could run on it's own.

This would be an ongoing project seeing as though I would probably like things added later on as well (would pay each time)

Three people have attempted to help me on this in the course of the past 3 years. 1st one vanished, 2nd one gave up and 3rd one went off grid.

Don't worry, this project isn't cursed ..

I am a competent python developer and depending on the requirements should be able to do this for you fairly quickly
46  Economy / Services / Re: smart contract for poker room on: January 20, 2019, 01:19:49 PM
Im wondering if there is any way to create a smart contract to keep account balances for a poker room and its accounts

Wondering how hard it would be to make some smart contracts for accounting on a poker room?  Not only for deposits and withdraws, but everytime a player joins the table, and then have the contract rewritten as the player exits the table with their current chip total.

Any information someone can give or help with?

There are several issues with using a smart contract for this. The biggest issue would be transaction costs. Each time you send a transaction to the contract, like players joining/leaving the table and deposits, someone will have to pay a transaction fee.

Thank you all for the fun))) I sometimes forget how much most people are weak! But I wish each of you all the best in life! Even for those who write very badly, I take it all exactly for weakness, and I wish you an easy life, because heavy things are not for you! You need pink elephants in beds that will protect you from difficulties.))) I will definitely send you such helpers!)))

I often forget how passive aggressive people can be when hearing information they dont like

Edit

Also, it is funny that you talk about people who "write very badly" while you do the same thing. That reply is full of grammatical errors and odd characters which do not belong like ")))". You can't be a grammar nazi if you don't use proper grammar yourself.

How can you expect a developer to essentially work for nothing? This is the real world where people have real bills to pay. Even if your idea is a good one they have real world bills to pay. Maybe you can get lucky and find some kid who lives in his mom's basement who would be willing to work for nothing but I highly doubt you'll find a competent developer who is willing to work for nothing and for a passive aggressive grammar nazi.
48  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for a team to implement the project on: January 19, 2019, 02:52:46 PM
In order to achieve something in life, you need to strive for it, and do so to be the best in your business! But not to say if! And if in a week the asteroid collides with the earth and everyone dies you need money? And if, and if. Are you joking? Live the real life! Even the most senseless project with a good team will be a success!
Being philosophical is good but I prefer people who are realistic. If the asteroid hits tomorrow, it's better to die rich than dying hungry. If it doesn't hit, you are still hungry. Money is important in life and so are the good deeds. You just don't expect random people on the internet to have either of them. It's very hard for a freelancer to take projects which are based in tokens. There is no guarantee that it will ever succeed regardless of how good the product or the team is.

I do a lot of freelancing and will only work for tokens if the project has a nice marketing budget in some currency other than their token. It is extremely easy to write an erc20 token. A competent solidity developer can write one in a matter of hours. Even with a marketing budget it is a gamble because it can often be difficult to trade any significant amount of those tokens when needed for bills or other life expenses.

What do you do?

I'm a developer and like to focus mainly on AI and blockchain tech but can do almost anything development related.

52  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The longer you play poker the better you become ? on: January 04, 2019, 03:30:36 PM
^  Uuuhhh...  No...  I don't think a winning player with a preference on higher stakes games would waste their precious time spamming BCT.  Wink

Can you explain how or where anything I said was spam? If you're referring to the pokersnowie link I am in no way affiliated with them and it is a tool that myself and a lot of other profitable players use to analyze multi-way situations.
53  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The longer you play poker the better you become ? on: January 04, 2019, 03:03:30 PM
sharkscope gives me a ability rating of 84 but only tracks tournaments. I'm a long term winning tournament and cash game poker player with a preference for higher stakes cash games. I personally think that luck only matters in the short term and skill wins out over a longer term. Good/great poker players are good at probablistic thinking and counterfactual thinking. If you're wanting to become a winning poker player I would study "range theory", get some tools like poker snowie and study constantly. Here is a great video from Matt Hawrilenko about range theory and GTO style playing. A great quote from the video is:

Quote
Let me be very clear on how important this concept of knowing your own hand and knowing where you are in your distribution is. I think you shouldn't think about anything else in poker until you have bought and paid for a house by knowing where you are in your own distribution and shaping it to be balanced.
54  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For those thinking some bets are safe, read this on: January 02, 2019, 10:02:26 PM
safe is a subjective term and important details were left out of the OP like odds on the other horses as well as probabilties of them winning.  If the implied probability or payout is less than or equal to the probability of losing it is a bad/losing bet. For example, if you're making a typical spread bet on some sporting event that is giving odds like -110(1.91 decimal and 52.38% implied probability) but you have good reason to believe the event will occur 60% of the time you have a 7.62% edge. Similarly if you're being paid 1000:1(implied probability of 0.1%) and you have good reason to believe the actual probability of that horse winning is something like say 0.15%(roughly 667 to 1) then it is a profitable bet.  Even with it being a profiable bet you're only going to win, on average, 6 out of 10 bets for the sporting event example and 1 out of 667 bets for the horse racing example. So bets should be made in such a way that you have as little as possible risk of ruin while floating variance. In the world of probabilties there is nothing to say you wont lose several or even dozens of 60/40 bets and possibly thousands of 600+ to 1 bets in a row although it is fairly unlikely as the sample size grows. Using "confidence intervals" you can see how wildly/widely short term results can vary from long term expected rates.
55  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for [ESCROW] service for an anonymous crypto project on: December 30, 2018, 03:43:32 PM
I may also be interested in helping depending on the nature of the project. I'm a huge proponent of anonymity but want to make sure that the project is/would be legal in my country of residence.
56  Other / Meta / Re: [SCAM PREVENTION]Remove self-moderation for topics within the marketplace! on: December 30, 2018, 01:24:39 PM
I think the reasons cited for self moderation in those boards is a lot like the informal logical fallacy "overextend outrage". Overextend outrage is a form of poor statistical thinking where one or more statistically rare cases are implied to be the norm or the trend (without evidence). While that is not the full description/definition and this isn't a perfect match it is close. The number of unmoderated threads far outweigh the self moderated threads and instances of trolling are fairly rare. The number of self moderated threads started by scammers is much higher than the number of trolling incidents in those boards. Basically I just dont buy that argument
57  Economy / Digital goods / Re: ONE VANILLA/VANILLA PREPAID CARDS/WALMART VISA CARDS, ALL VISA GIFT CARDS on: December 25, 2018, 03:28:16 PM
I can purchase your Vanilla card for a flat rate of 65% and for 70% for cards above $300. Any amount needed and funds are delivered in Bitcoins....My trade is 100% Valid.

Telegram: @deckeremirate

I would be wary of onevanilla and just about all of the gift cards which do not require registration. I had issues with chargebacks totaling nearly 10k. I ultimately won the charge backs but lost my account with firstdata as a result. Despite the terms and conditions saying something to effect of "Lost and stolen cards will be replaced with the remaining balance" the person who purchased the card can still chargeback via VisaNet if they file a police report and keep the original receipt. If you do decide to go this route I strongly suggest that you have them send you a copy of the receipt with something written on them like: "To: {your username} From: {their username} for the purchase of xxxx bitcoin on {website}" even with that a determined scammer can print a copy of the receipt, print their own receipt, etc. If you get a large amount of these coming from one person it is likely from some sort of scam for something like a car being sold on ebay/craigslist.
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: decentralised RNG on: December 18, 2018, 05:54:36 PM
while the concept seems pretty cool I see several issues with the project as a whole. The major issues I see are
1) it doesn't seem to have source code that is publicly available despite calling itself "opensource"
2) the ico/project had a meh rating(20% from coingecko) from most of the ico rating sites
3) dev team has been quiet on social media - they responded to my comment on the youtube video you linked to within a hour of my comment. that is pretty responsive I'd say
4) extremely low market cap and liquidity - meaning whales are not likely to play since the total trade volume of CHP was 8k usd yesterday which wont cover a single table worth of $5/$10 level buyins/cashouts
5) texas holdem is likely to die in the coming years due to artifical intelligence and shortly after that omaha will follow suit.
and probably more if I looked a bit deeper(team, etc)

issue number 4 could simply be due to the overall crypto bear market. This wouldn't worry me as much as the other points listed since what the overall crypto market is experincing right now was to be expected. I've seen the price of bitcoin do exactly what it has done recently several times(rise from ~$2/btc to $120/btc and fall back to roughly $5, rise from $100/btc to $1200 and fall back to $250, etc).

edit:
I stand corrected regarding the source, or at least the source for the RNG. It is located here: https://github.com/CoinPokerOfficial/poker-decentralized-rng

After looking at the source it seems like a legit concept. I've implented something similar in the past for a solidity based slot machine contract. I'm not a crypotgraphy expert but I think that it is probably going to end up being a secure method for generating a random number in a trustless way.

59  Economy / Services / Re: Need a Smart Contract made (for a price) on: December 17, 2018, 06:45:10 PM
I can do this for you pretty quickly and as always escrow is welcomed and encouraged.
60  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io violated their own self exclose license terms. on: December 16, 2018, 11:36:38 PM
Calling us kids while using random caps is hilarious. Also using "bro" is a huge red flag for being a scammer. I've been selling digital items here for going on 5 years and have learned that the users of "bro" online are almost always going to end up being a scammer.
