200+ sat is expensive for 1 billion coins

+1

It has taken months for most cryptos to get there.

Exactly.  You would be silly to expect it to moon right when trading started.  People wanting to flip for a quick profit say its expensive, while people who see the end game say it's cheap.  I am one of those who says its cheap right now.  I can see 1k when smart contracts and some more development on the decentralized marketplace happens.

200+ sat is expensive for 1 billion coins

Are you aware Bitshares is traded around 4k sat and it has 2 billion coins?

NXT is traded around 4-5k and it has almost 1 bilion coins

So, 200 sat is very cheap compare to what this coin will offer to the world. If you're smart you'll buy it, store in your wallet and forget about it. Come back after 1+ year and boom! one coin is now $.50-$1 and you're rich. Grin

Agreed.  Maybe you could argue its "expensive" right now because the technology isnt out yet, but once the team starts rolling out the new features and tech, 200 sat will be a bargain.

I know every trader has done this at least once.  You look the the long term chart for a coin and you say "Man, I CAN'T believe it was trading at 200 satoshi! Why didn't I buy then???  Its at 5k now!"  That will be this coin.

Just want to second the idea about keeping things coin agnostic. There was some fud in here from Tile holders awhile back and thankfully it stopped. I have some Tile and I think it's an exciting project. Let's hope we can keep things civil in this thread.

I agree.  FUD has gotten so ridiculous on BCT Talk.  Can't we all just embrace the technological developments of these coins?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitBay |Decentralized Marketplace|Smart Contracts|IoT Tech|Markets Open on: November 16, 2014, 02:35:40 AM
Oh so now it's FUD to call out African Russian ICO scammers?

Keep losing money to this third world kingpin, you orcs.

Bro, your FUD is so ridiculous.

The crash has been beautiful, it let me get some more BAY for even cheaper. =)

^ This

One thing I have noticed in crypto is the FUD train is NEVER late.  Always right on time.  It has become hilariously predictable now a days.

Encrypted storage regardless of the amount.   Because .1 BTC will be worth a couple thousand one day.   Grin  Must collect the precious BTC!

You should consider getting the ICO hosted on an exchange.  A lot more people feel more comforatable buying into ICOs that way, rather than trusting the money in the devs hands (no offense).

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: October 2014. Are GPU rigs useless? on: November 13, 2014, 09:00:30 AM
GPU will always be better than ASICS for the long term in my opinion.  AISCs get outdated very quick and become paper weights.  GPU always has some resale value and can mine all the new algos that will take months if not years to develop ASICs for.

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XTC] TileCoin| IoT (Internet of Things) bitcoin blockchain - ĐApp on: November 13, 2014, 07:59:32 AM
Prices continued to decline , Dev, what are you doing ?

Its not the devs fault.  I think today we saw quite a few coins decline.  Probably in part due to BTC rising and people cashing out some alts for BTC.
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best bitcoin wallet on: November 13, 2014, 07:52:51 AM
Hello!  I have just started using Electrum and I find it works well, is user friendly, and does not need to download the entire blockchain to work.  Its very newbie friendly, but also has powerful features for more advanced users.
