Just for the record,
I'd like to report that this problem was tenaciously pursued by GoatPig, and corrected with his expert help in a very short time.
His title is HERO and in this case, he definitely was. I'm merely indicating that his expertise is top-notch and everyone should pay close attention to whatever he says.
Many thanks for your help with this, Goatpig!

I haven’t heard anything back yet from SUPPORT, but I tried an experiment using the same address as in the first transaction. And it worked just fine. I was able to transmit an amount directly into my Armory wallet.

When I go to blockchain.info and enter that address, it shows 2 completed transactions: the first on Nov 14, which has not been recognized by my wallet yet; and the second, on Nov. 22 which was my recent test and which shows up in my wallet. Both transactions are confirmed.

I have done ‘factory reset’ and ‘rebuild and rescan databases’ but that does not change the condition…. The first transaction is not acknowledged by the wallet; the second transaction is seen by the wallet. And blockchain continues to tell me both transactions are valid and have been carried out.

Although I have rebuilt my databases, is it possible that there is an error in my database bank that occurred sometime AFTER the first transaction of Nov 14?

Any suggestions on what I should do at this point?

       Thanks,     -JF

Thanks to both picobit and goatpig for your suggestions. I concluded yesterday that after doing all the re-building and re-setting of things, this just might be something unique. Because the transaction, which I have from a different source from the block chain, did take place and all my addresses are 'correct' and match the block chain data. So I did turn in a Support Ticket and will let you know how that turns out.

             Thanks again,

picobit,
that's a bit confusing. I provided the wallet address in order for the transaction to take place. This all occurred several weeks ago. As of a couple days ago, Armory is fully updated and connected, so is still pulling down the block history as it happens. I have what I think is the transaction number...... but Armory is still not showing anything in the wallet. I suspect I need to "do something" within Armory to get that to show, but I don't know what. I believe I even have the address the coin came from in that transaction! (although I don't expect that to do anything for me).  But as far as Armory is concerned, nothing happened. Do I need to do a second acceptance of this in order for the coins to finalize the transaction?

          thanks,

In the trouble shooting section, there was a way to "reset" the original conditions. I did that and it seems to have stabilized the software. It now finished the three checks and stays on line.
Now I can move forward with my original problem:

I had bit coins sent to me. I provided an address supplied to me by Armory. Supposedly there is a completed transaction on record. however, the bit coins do not show up in my wallet. I was thinking that because I was having such a hard time keeping the Armory software online and working, that the transaction was waiting for me to somehow 'finalize' it. That does not seem to be the case, as it has not yet shown up in my wallet.  .... Or does it just "show up" without my having to do something?  If the transaction exists, I can't seem to locate it within Armory.

So I guess my main question is: given that this transaction took place, how to I verify that by having the bit coins actually show in my wallet?

delete your databases folder in Armory's datadir, it's most likely corrupt.

Odd. I do not find any Directories within the Armory Directory, only files. And no files beginning with "data"  Does this need to be created?

I am new to the Bitcoin trading world and I decided to start with Cryptonit.net. Aside from a few “mental adjustments” I needed to work through within the concepts of the overall system, I am very pleased with Cryponit. I have asked a few questions, and I have received very timely, informative and easily understood answers and directions from a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I’m glad this is the place that I started with.

The option to toggle a number of trading time lines would be a welcomed software improvement. It would give varying trading patterns over longer periods of time. That may be something that is currently being looked into (?)

Hello,
All I want is a functional and secure Wallet!

I have windows 7, 64-bit and have installed Armory 0.92.3/Standard User
When I launch Armory, it always takes 15 minutes to ¾-hour to do the three functions of
   Synchronizing with Network
   Build Databases
   Scan Transaction History
While still working on the first task of Synchronizing with Network, I get the following message:

ArmoryQT.exe has stopped working
Windows can check online for a solution to the problem
Check online for a solution and close the program
Close the program
Problem details
Problem signature:
  Problem Event Name:   APPCRASH
  Application Name:   ArmoryQt.exe
  Application Version:   0.0.0.0
  Application Timestamp:      53225ed1

This issue is NEVER able to resolve by “Check online for a solution…” and the program always closes.

Does this need to be uninstalled and reinstalled? Is there a “fix” to whatever is happening? Should I just abandon ArmoryQT and go elsewhere?
Thanks for any direction anyone might be able to provide.
