61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, is it an English ONLY wallet? on: January 26, 2018, 01:22:41 AM
Thank you Brennus101.
It appears Bitcoin Core is the original.  If it is open source, others could be made with slight changes such as language.

Electrum and Mycelium do not count if they do not download the entire blockchain, then they are depending on Bitcoin Core via a server that Mycelium and Electrum depend on to function.

Unless Electrum & Mycelium are operating via Blockchain.info API calls, to check the blockchain network.
They are light on hard drive space, allowing Mycelium to work on a phone... but that also makes it require Bitcoin Core via a server or website.  (Users will not need Bitcoin Core, but the alternative wallet software does)

So the root software is still English.
But this DOES provide Asian support.

It still makes Non English support a secondary priority to English.
So Asian markets are not first priority, thankfully.  Wink

I am disappointed that nobody knows.  Yet I am not surprised.  I have not met anyone knowledgeable about Bitcoin on this forum yet....
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why will Bitcoin Rise Again? on: January 24, 2018, 06:08:45 PM
Bitcoin has ME supporting it.  Wink

Alt coins cannot rise without Bitcoin going up equally or greater.  Check ANY chart.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin, is it an English ONLY wallet? on: January 24, 2018, 05:58:39 PM
Hello,

I am a developer, Bitcoin enthusiast, Bitcoin Investor.
My opinions are bias in favor of Bitcoin because it has done me so many favors.

FACTs not opinion:
  • Bitcoin legend is that on August 18th, 2008, "Satoshi Nakamoto" registered the bitcoin.org website and started this all.
.org is an ENGLISH domain, not a Chinese or Japanese domain.
  • Bitcoin Core wallet is in English.
  • It is used for personal, or hosting a bitcoin service via a website and API functions.
  • Programming is in English for everything.  The English invented the internet and computers.  (Deal with it).

MY QUESTIONS:
  • Is Bitcoin Core the Official software?
  • Is Bitcoin Core the ONLY Official software?

IF SO....
Is Bitcoin Core the ONLY backbone to run any and every Bitcoin website? ...and it only has an English User Interface?
So IF THAT IS SO.....
Why is there so much talk about Asian Markets having a majority effect on BTC?

Hmmm
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we support altcoins ? on: January 23, 2018, 04:07:41 AM
Bitcoin is already the ONLY support that alt coins have.
Alt coins do not have ANY infrastructure and can ONLY be used to trade for other crypto, like BTC.

Without BTC, they are nothing.
Only BTC is accepted in stores, banks, with Bitcoin Visa cards etc.

Alt coins only have value because you can get BTC with them.
66  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the bitcoin price recover? on: January 16, 2018, 10:51:09 PM
BTC DEAD.

Says the new user wanting to promote an alt coin.
Alt coins dropped more.  lol

Perfect time to buy is NOW.  Buy low.  HOLD, SAVE, and wait for the recovery.
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My advice to Bitcoin newbies: relax on: January 16, 2018, 10:44:34 PM

This is absolutely true. I tried day trading once and my mistakes were very costly compared to just holding coins for 3-6 months. You will get higher chances for profits and less room for mistakes.

Prettily sum up the point
Daytrade will eventually make you broke if you are not an experienced daytrader, panic sell, panic buy, late cutloss, etc
For newbies it is very advised to just hodl until you earn profit or atleast back to initial position where you bought it

I agree.  Just holding long term is super easy.  Year after year, month after month.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: January 16, 2018, 01:12:45 AM
I am happy that I believed in bitcoin.
I did not believe in ASIC miners lol
But bitcoin is the only one with an infrastructure.
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indonesia bans Bitcoin on: January 16, 2018, 01:11:52 AM
USA banned Alcohol too, that didn't work either.  lol
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: January 16, 2018, 01:10:33 AM
WHY would you care to explain Bitcoin to kids?
You do not need to.
You do not need to tell them about LGBT issues either.
WTF
Let kids be kids!
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: January 16, 2018, 01:09:46 AM
BitPay.com
Coinbase.com
Any crypto currency exchange.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: January 16, 2018, 01:08:41 AM
If I am alive, will I even care about computers?

The internet has survived.
The Automobile has survived.
73  Other / Off-topic / Re: deleted on: January 16, 2018, 01:06:25 AM
This is very good.   Bitcoin will only become more rare and go UP in value when miners are mining for transaction fees only at that point.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die? on: January 16, 2018, 01:05:14 AM
Alt Coins cannot exist without bitcoin.
Alt coins move when Bitcoins move.

ONLY Bitcoin is accepted in 400,000 stores in Japan.
ONLY Bitcoin is accepted in retail stores in the USA, coffee shops, godaddy.com Overstock.com, namecheap.com, etc.
ONLY Bitcoin is accepted at car dealerships in the USA.  I know of 4 that I found so far.
ONLY Bitcoin is accepted for new ICO, Initial Coin Offerings, when another crypto is attempting to start up.
ONLY Bitcoin has banks, credit cards, Visa, Master, and ATMs for Cash.
ONLY Bitcoin is on the Futures market, and soon Options market.  (real options markets that deal with real stock options, not that fake scam sports betting type sites)

Yes I own a BitPay card that accepts BTC, and works as a VISA and at ANY ATM machine for cash.

ONLY Bitcoin is setup to work at credit card machines for stores to accept BTC.

No alt coin is accepted at any retail stores yet.
Only ETH is accepted by some online retailers (Non reputable ones)

Alt coins have NO value without Bitcoin, because alt coins can ONLY be used to trade for:  BITCOIN and other cryptos.

Alt Coins have no other use other than converting to other cryptos.
No other Crypto is worth anything until you trade it for BTC or Fiat currency.

ONLY Bitcoin is accepted in commerce.
That means ONLY Bitcoin is accepted in stores, and legitimate online retailers.

Alt coins will never catch up to the wide spread acceptance of Bitcoin.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why will Bitcoin Rise Again? on: January 02, 2018, 06:40:34 AM
BLA BLA BLA BLA.....the main thing is to eliminate the shortcomings of bitcoin in order to restore the trust that has shaken him.

Another worthless post from a user that should be IGNORED.

Yes I agree with others that after the holidays the mature investors will return.
Mempool is no longer spammed, so fees are low again and TX is fast.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who here has the most Bitcoin? on: December 31, 2017, 10:13:27 AM
Whoever tells you a huge number is lying as not only can they not prove it, but anyone who has a large amount will not divulge that type of information like that.

Wrong.
It is VERY easy to prove ownership of one or more bitcoin wallets.
Use Blockchain.info to SEE the current holdings of any bitcoin account.

Use a digital signature to verify ownership.
OR
Ask the person to verify ownership and control of a wallet address by providing a few random numbers, and ask them to move those random amounts of BTC among their own accounts.
OR
Ask them to provide a new EMPTY BTC wallet account, transfer in, and transfer out, to prove ownership.
You can add random numbers to verify control of the new random wallet.

Nobody can guess a new random wallet that is empty AND tell you before hand exactly how much they will deposit BEFORE the deposit happens.
That will easily prove they are not lying.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin being taxed? on: December 31, 2017, 10:04:54 AM
Bitcoin cannot be taxed.
Especially if you buy Bitcoin account to Bitcoin account.
If it was never fiat, never in a normal bank, they cannot tax it.
Many still say Bitcoin is not money, even tho you can spend it to buy things.

Love Bitcoin.
78  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where can I buy a car with bitcoin? on: December 31, 2017, 10:01:20 AM

Hahahah  Grin Grin

Well, to be fair, you can get a better price from a random person than a car dealer
Because he doesn't have to profit from the sale, he just wants to get rid of the car perhaps.

I did not ask about getting the best price, did I?
I'm a fucking Bitcoin Baller, wanting a bad ass car.   Not a lame economy car.
What do I look like?  A Honda Civic?  lol
