521  Economy / Services / Re: 1 BTC reward to catch a 4 BTC thief. on: May 03, 2015, 05:44:58 PM
Bitcoin transactions are irreversible so you cant get the money back by hiring people to find him!
I am 101% sure that the hacker has done mixing the coins and the best choice for you is to Forget the Hard earned coins and start working right away Smiley
522  Other / Off-topic / Re: If BTC goes to $1000 or more, what would you do? on: May 03, 2015, 05:40:56 PM
Bitcoin's miner reward wil be 0.4 BTC in the next 22 years! Might be some other altcoins might take the market till then! Better use altcoin section more frequently so that you can say "I was an early miner" in the future with proudness Grin

Has absolutely nothing to do with the question though does it?

Nobody asked what would you do if another coin takes the market by then! Now you could have answered if bitcoin goes to $1000 I will sell enough to by some miners and then wade threw the garbage to find the next big crypto with my newly found profit from selling bitcoin at $1000.

You keep bumping your post count with meaningless posts you will have an unhappy day Smiley

To answer the question OP I will be selling a fair few of my coins if we get going on the way to $1000 but so many are also going to be dumping at that price just hope I can get in sooner so then rebuy on the dip that will happen.

I was not bumping to increase my post count! This was just a conversation with Amph and Lorenzo and i forgot to quote it!

I meant to say that after 22 years the miner fee would be 0.4 BTC and either Bitcoin would be very expensive or many people would leave bitcoin when it has reached so less reward and switch to some altcoin! I have already answered my question on this thread so I don't need to answer that question!

Please read some pages before you accuse me of spamming even though not quoting was my mistake!

524  Other / Off-topic / Re: If BTC goes to $1000 or more, what would you do? on: May 03, 2015, 05:18:49 PM
I dont really own bitcoin. But I plan to buy some now Smiley
If I have boughten 10 BTc for 2000$ and the price went up to 1000$ per Bitcoin, I will sell them and get 5x profit! Grin

Hmmm.. You mean $200 right?  Roll Eyes

526  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: JUST HAD 0.92329 BTC STOLEN - HOW??? on: May 03, 2015, 05:01:47 PM
So is this a flaw in Electrum?

I don't think so. There are too many inconsistencies in this story.

 - The thief targets a small wallet (0.92 btc), and tags his transaction with "3lectrum Fail" on blockchain.info.
A real a thief in possession of an exploit would target large wallets first, and he would try not to attract attention on his exploit.
 - The OP ignores my first request to publish his seed, but calls for donations instead.
 - On my second request, the OP says that he is concerned about the security implications of disclosing his seed, which suggests that he still has the seed, or believes he has it.
However, less than one hour later, he said that he has deleted (and even shredded!) the file containing it.
 - When I asked the OP if he has paper backup of his seed, he says he has none. Yet, in one of his first posts he said "That's ll the btc I had"
 - The OP claims to be "very tech savvy". However, he deletes his wallet file, preventing further investigation.
A tech savvy person would not destroy evidence just after being hacked.

So, either the OP made up that story, or he has no clue about security.

His activity seem fishy! Seems like a pretty well made story! BTW btcchris told me seeds can still be recovered! Isnt that true?

529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Satoshi still have plans to access his coins? on: May 03, 2015, 03:41:27 PM
I just assume that Satoshi is dead and that any friends or family of his knew nothing about bitcoins at the time of his death.  As such, anything that might have been a private key to any of those bitcoins is long since destroyed.

I thought he was dead as well, until he posted "I am not dorian nakamoto" last year.

Don't you think its easy to hack p2p foundation account when you most probably registered with an email account which was already hacked! It was not done by him but the hacker Smiley
530  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: JUST HAD 0.92329 BTC STOLEN - HOW??? on: May 03, 2015, 03:39:09 PM
In other words, whenever Electrum saves the wallet file, it does a normal delete, and then creates a new wallet file. If OP shredded his wallet file, he only shredded that most recently saved file. Other older copies of the wallet, as deleted by Electrum, might still be on the drive somewhere.

OK! Now I get it! But OP told he is very tech savvy how come he didn't knew about this?
You have the capacity to make a hard thing easy to understand Cheesy Cheesy
531  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: about cloudmining.website on: May 03, 2015, 03:30:14 PM
Your post is full of I think & I dont think. Business is not about that. Business is all about proof. CMW provides payment proof on blockchain for last six months, whereas Bit-x and other so called legitimate ones provide none. Bit-x is even unable to provide mining address. With the only certificate this service is showing everywhere is a vouch from Bitfury. No one knows on earth what is the deal between them. Like we will never know what was the deal between hashie and AsicMiner. In bitcoin world, only trust the blockchain.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=845995.0

CMW doesn't show any proof that they're mining! Clear Ponzi! If you don't believe me just wait and see Smiley

And my post has lot of I think and I don't think because I simply think a lot about what I think and what I don't think and I will be one of the Great Thinkers Of The World Cheesy

Yes! I agree! In the Bitcoin World Only Trust Blockchain Cheesy
532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Satoshi still have plans to access his coins? on: May 03, 2015, 03:23:03 PM
Put yourself in his/her shoes... you have one of the biggest treasures in the world and you invented the technology that can disrupt HUGE organizations.

Will you touch those coins?

I know I will not, until I can find a way to MIX it, in a way that will not be traceable. {None of the methods today, gives total anonymity}

I still think, he/she lost the private key, and are scared that the world would find out. {You would really look like a fool, if you lost 1M bitcoins}

It can happen to anyone.. just ask the guy, who dumped all that coins with his old Harddrive.

Those coins was worth much less, when he got that... so he/she might have not worried too much about securing it.  Sad

Satoshi is dead! Ok He wants to be Anonymous! What's the reason behind going offline forever? I don't see any genuine reason! Hundreds of thousands of people die everyday, cant satoshi be one of them?

Who knows what really happened? If he/she died, how are we to know? Also, how can we differ a normal address from Satoshi's? An address with some early transactions could be a possibility, but the fact remains that he/she could not be alone in mining during those times. He/she could've had his/her friends know about bitcoin back in the days and those people could've mined some coins out of curiosity or help for their friend. There are A LOT of possibilities and probabilities as to what really happened to Satoshi. The only way we can be sure of who he/she is is that someone would stand in the hot seat, prove that he/she is in fact the genius behind bitcoin then problem solved (well it isn't really a problem in the first place).

Yes we don't know if he still exists but why didn't he even come online to tell the world that his email got hacked and don't trust any emails from that account?
533  Economy / Gambling / Re: I lost .8 BTC! on: May 03, 2015, 03:13:46 PM
I'm a HODLER.

What's wrong with joining a sig campaign?
I enjoy posting here, might aswell get paid for it.

All I said was 0.8 BTC isn't a lot which is true.

Unsure what your issue is young grasshopper.

Sorry! My bad!
I don't think anyone participates in a campaign who thinks 0.8BTC isn't that large! Maybe I was wrong!
I had no intentions to be rude! And yes, I have no issues anyways! Why would I have any issues? That just seemed a bit strange to me because I am new to the forums Cheesy I am still learning Smiley
Thanks!
534  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: JUST HAD 0.92329 BTC STOLEN - HOW??? on: May 03, 2015, 03:07:31 PM
Sorry if this is already answered. Which OS are you using? Have you tried to recover deleted file?

P.S. See http://wikihow.com/Recover-Deleted-Files-from-Your-Computer. If you are lucky, you maybe able to recover it.

He said he "shredded" it! It cannot be recovered! Shredding Files deletes it permanently and cant be recovered!

Even if he did, that doesn't mean his seed is definitely unrecoverable as you imply.

Electrum, until recently, truncated the wallet file before writing to it for each wallet save. This could leave the (possibly encrypted) seed in multiple blocks on the drive, depending on how often Electrum saved the wallet file, even if he shredded it. (Newer versions of Electrum create a new wallet file, and then unlink the old one, again leaving the seed in potentially multiple blocks).

MZ's questions are good ones.

Sorry But I am not a technical guy and I didn't get what you said Tongue
Anyway, "Shred"="Permanently Delete"! That's what I have heard till now! If that can be recovered either I am using an outdated technology or you are using a new one Tongue
535  Economy / Gambling / Re: I lost .8 BTC! on: May 03, 2015, 03:03:25 PM
Just because someone earns to post does not mean they don't have a half decent amount of coins does it. I post to earn and I don't think it is a lot but it surly was a lot to someone who works 8hours a day for a month for it!

Either you didn't get me or I didn't get you(Please make me clear if I didn't get you Smiley)

He said 0.8 isn't a big amount and I told why are you involved In a signature campaign if you think that's little money!
Why would anyone with decent amount of coins join a signature campaign when they can make some nice cash trading! I haven't seen any rich guy who has enough coins and still participates in a sig campaign!
536  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: about cloudmining.website on: May 03, 2015, 02:58:14 PM
I have already made ROI with www.CloudMining.website, whereas it is obvious with Bit-X that no one would ROI. Bit-X is simply another AM hash in making. AM Hash also tried its best to take down CMW. Bit-X is trying as well. None of these conspiracies are going to work. CMW is and will keep publishing the payout details and all you scammers will be forgotten to oblivion.

I don't think Bit-x is scam but I didn't think that hashie would do this either! I find all of these online mining sites fishy except cex.io,bit-x,stakeminers etc. I think they're not a Ponzi and they wouldn't end in a bad way! They may be less profitable but I don't think they will scam! Anyways in the Bitcoin scenario many trusted companies and individuals have proven out to be a scam, so why not bit-x? Its always good to invest what you can afford to loose no matter how legitimate the company is! Anyways I have never invested in any cloud mining sites because I see most of them usually turn out to be a scam/Ponzi Smiley
537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Satoshi still have plans to access his coins? on: May 03, 2015, 02:50:14 PM
Give me one proof (valid proof) 'prove' that he is dead .

I asked first .

But satoshi's email got hacked..he could have informed people through p2p foundation before that account was hacked too but NO! Plus he could have come up online here and told people that his account was hacked to stop the hacker from scamming but he didn't do that too.. This must be enough! Your turn now! Smiley
538  Economy / Gambling / Re: I lost .8 BTC! on: May 03, 2015, 02:43:46 PM
Don't bet what you can't afford to lose.
Besides 0.8 BTC isn't a lot is it  Grin

Cheer up!

0.8 isn't much and you are involved in a signature campaign that pays 0.0009 per post! Funny Tongue
539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Satoshi still have plans to access his coins? on: May 03, 2015, 02:38:29 PM
Do you know who was (is) satoshi? I think you cannot and we can't say he is dead, because we don't own the proofs.

Give me 1 proof that proves he still lives Smiley
540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Satoshi still have plans to access his coins? on: May 03, 2015, 02:31:59 PM
Satoshi is already dead! We are just imagining nonsense that never existed! There's no reason to leave Bitcoin scenario all of a sudden! Satoshi died already and he never gave his private key to someone else!
