1044  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do web developers/programmers get paid so much? on: March 15, 2015, 07:15:48 AM
This question is inspired by this thread in the meta section.

Basically, it costs $1.5 million to hire 4 full-time programmers and a few additional outside contractors to code a forum script. The company in question charges a $100,000 monthly fee. This means that each coder is paid roughly $300,000-400,000.

Now I don't know much about web development/programming so I was surprised to see that the figure is so high but it turns out it's actually pretty standard in the industry and some websites pay even more than this. I'm sure it's not an easy job and writing a forum script from scratch is a complex task that requires good coding skills but I always assumed that they would get paid $50,000-150,000.

It also seems that someone who works in this industry could retire very early. After 10 years, they would have about $3 million so someone who enters the industry at age 25 could retire by 35 or even earlier. So do most web developers/programmers retire in their thirties?

They Have to work much!  Maybe that's the reason!
1045  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Wager 1 BTC for me and get 0.1 BTC! on: March 15, 2015, 06:56:16 AM
Why would someone wager for you? They could just wager 1BTC on their own and get the 0.25 themselves.

i think it will be for people which is Member rank and below and for those who are already enrolled in other signature campaign..

Yes you get it right Cheesy
1046  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Wager 1 BTC for me and get 0.1 BTC! on: March 15, 2015, 06:39:18 AM
This is another problem, because I could wager 1 from like 0.1 with ease,if I only had that first.I wagered like 40 times that amount in like 30 minutes,if I had those I would help.

Thank you! But I don't have those either Tongue
Maybe you can ask for a loan in the forum! Noone trusts me Tongue

Sorry, for sending you PMs instead of posting here. That is the general practice.

Should I take over the signature campaign from now or from the next week?

Will I be given the freedom to fix rates, etc. for different levels, etc.? Who will be responsible for setting up and managing escrow (assuming I am not the escrow)

As the admin is also a newbie, the price for newbie and Legendary member must be same Tongue

very good explaination.

we start at the same stage on girlbtc ,and the earlier you join, the more advantage of max bet or duration time during two bets.

when you are newbie on girlbtc, you are "Little Girl"  and when your total wager ups to 10btc you get to level two on girlbtc."Smart Girl" for details.

"Different level" means Member, Senior member, Hero Member, Legendary Member, Full member etc.
You didn't understand his question girlbtc Smiley

1) Show me the proof you are trusted and you can wager 1 BTC for me!
2) If you are sucessfully able to complete step 1! PM me for girlbtc email and password!
3) Wager 1 BTC for me at girlbtc.
4) After everything is done! PM me your address for 0.05 BTC!

Thank you!

That doesn't even make sense. How is this useless spam or begging?

You're begging for someone to bet BTC1 on your account, they lose, you pay them 0.05? Or you login to the account after they've deposited BTC1 and then withdraw it? Are you nuts?

Firstly, I am not forcing anyone to participate and Secondly What if they don't loose? And for your second question,I give them the password and they can change it anytime and change the password back to what it was after they wager!
Thank You! Wink
1052  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Wager 1 BTC for me and get 0.05 BTC! on: March 14, 2015, 11:32:02 AM
0% risk on this site is quite a big call. It looks very scrupulous .. I wouldn't want my deposits there

Agreed. I wouldn't take part in this any way as all the risk is on the person who gambles the money and op risks nothing, but the site doesn't give me much faith that it's even legit (though it could be but I wouldn't risk sending 1 bitcoin there). I very much doubt you will get any one take you up on this offer.

So any suggestions to draw any participant?
The site is legit! Instant deposit and withdraws and i got paid 0.05 BTC from the site owner to translate one of his page to russian! Smiley

I did not say 0%! I said nearly 0% but since other people started playing with same strategy like mine, the chance of losing is increased by a little..I just remembered if you deposit any BTC, the site takes 5% fees so I am increasing the reward to 0.1 BTC!

I'm a bit confused of the prize. Is it 0.25 for each person who wagers 1btc of is it just a random draw and one person will win 0.25?

First 10 to register qualify Smiley
1056  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Wager 1 BTC for me and get 0.05 BTC! on: March 14, 2015, 08:50:28 AM
If I don't find anyone then I will oncrease the reward to 0.1 BTC Smiley
And it would actually be no-risk..I will PM them an awesome way to win Grin

Edit: Awesome way doesn't mean 0% risk! It means "almost" 0% risk!

So you want someone to wager 1btc for you? I can do it if you give me the 0.1btc first and then I'll gamble 1btc with that 0.1btc xD. But in all seriousness why can't you just use that 0.1 you are offering to bet it yourself? Also please PM me your so called safe method I am curious

So here's the reply to your question!
1) I will get paid from signature "if and only if" I wager 1 BTC
2) I have no money with me to wager thats why I organized this!

Regarding the safe method, Accept the deal and I will PM you Tongue

I don't think anyone would do that for you when they can do it themselves and get 0.25 btc instead.

I am doing this because someone who is already involved in another signature campaign might be interested Smiley
