1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Ever Felt Like Gambling Was Affecting Your Life Negatively? on: July 15, 2025, 10:52:28 PM
This crossed my mind as I was reading another bad news in our country about the bad effects of gambling. So I'm asking fellow gamblers here,

Have You Ever Felt Like Gambling Was Affecting Your Life Negatively? And if so how?

~snip~

Aside from wasting money I've never felt that gambling affecting my life directly, it's mandatory for gambler to able control their emotion so it won't affect their live. A few years ago, I had a friend who asked to borrow money, claiming his mother was seriously ill. Moved by his situation, I gave him a decent amount, hoping it would help his mother recover more quickly. However, after a couple of years passed, he never paid me back. Eventually, another friend who lives near him told me the reason that he had become addicted to gambling.

If the casino and its affiliates did not overstep their boundaries by directly advertising to the student and soliciting their engagement in it, then they are 100% exonerated in this. Many adult activities are open, it is now left for the student to engage in them whether being an adult or not. Many underage individuals are gambling, should we blame the casino for that, despite warning about it on their platform and ensuring that the age started from 18 years old?

But the underage will falsify their age to still register and gamble. No one can hold the casino responsible for that, just as no one can hold them responsible for what students do without forcing them.

I wish someone show me casino that targets students Cheesy What its like? "We give increased cashback for students" ? Or pass KYC with your ISIC card and get 100 free spins? Cheesy What people won't come up with to justify greed and stupidity.

Adults are partly responsible for underaged involved in gambling btw. I have heard many times when kid ask for something and parents reply that money dont grow on trees, and if you want something, go earn money, because you are "big" now. Smart go search for a part time job or job during summer. Not smart try gambling, because they dont know other option.

If something like this really happen I will use my brother student card to register to get the bonuses  Grin Cheesy, imo student will grow up also even when they gambled in their youth they can change it when they're grow up. People can choose how to use their money when they grow up either they can double it or lose it, just like me I never gambled in my youth age but I choose to play slots now.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Use simple logic to win in sports betting.. on: July 14, 2025, 08:02:41 AM
Can you explain this in your own words, if you truly believe that simple logic can help you win in sports betting?
Tell me how you analyze games in a simple way and still manage to win consistently, something that most of us struggle with.

They say you need to analyze thoroughly and consider tons of data to make the right decisions… but if we’re just using the word "logic," then all of that might not even be necessary anymore.

What do you think, is that really possible?

Yep simple thinking like if Team A always winning because they're strong, it's possible that our bet is correct as long as the match is not manipulated, no matter how much we tried to guess who will win if the match already manipulated it's only 50/50 to take it correct. Using more data to guessing which team will win is one of many ways to lower your risk to lose so use your time and your money wisely.
4  Economy / Gambling / Re: Slayer.sh | BETA Stage ~ Top Notch Crypto Casino, Free $10 Welcome Bonus! on: July 14, 2025, 07:55:51 AM

There are no issues with the platform while the website is live.
Also wanted to say there will be a TON more games coming along the way soon.

Did you know you can get a free $10 for joining Slayer?

~snip~

5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Changing strategy to win ! on: July 13, 2025, 02:57:00 PM

When something is determined by luck, then strategy won't work because luck determines everything. What strategy will we employ to win the next round of slots? I don't think there's anything we can do.

Many people claim strategies, tips, and tricks for winning, but in reality, they lose more often. Perhaps they were lucky when they used a particular strategy, but they attribute it all to strategy. I don't blame them, nor will I condemn their beliefs, but I personally don't believe it's feasible.

When it comes to slot machines, it's virtually impossible to come up with a real strategy because they operate on a fixed algorithm. And even if you somehow managed to understand that algorithm , which is highly doubtful and unlikely, it still wouldn’t allow you to win consistently. So building a strategy around such games is a myth and self-deception. I can confidently say that not a single millionaire has been made this way, except the casino itself. The only real strategy here is to clearly define the amount you're willing to spend on a game of chance. If you're lucky, you win. If not ,well today just wasn't your day.

Yeah, I'm very aware for this, that's why I'm not looking to double my money on gambling because the result can manipulated even on sports betting but if I think that too much and afraid in losing money then I won't get any fun when I play the game. Now I know why gambling is not for everyone, lower the risk and lower my expectation in getting win streak is what I'm doing before gambling.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it possible to turn $0.2 into $10,000 in slot and sports games? on: July 13, 2025, 07:59:56 AM
Well gambling like we all know is very unpredictable and anything can happen. I've heard of several stories where people hit some crazy ass multipliers and won a mighty jackpot, but this stuffs often happen unexpectedly, it's not something you plan for or work towards. If you're lucky, you might just be able to hit such crazy ass multipliers. So yes, it's very possible but not something we see everyday.

Probably those people who telling us that getting crazy win was promoting the site to play there, for me as long as the site is legit and there are many games inside I won't look for big jackpot to hit myself from turning a dollar to x10000. Beware for those people always flex their big win in the internet it will fade your excitement when you're eager to bet in a game.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is more addicting? on: July 12, 2025, 09:31:09 AM
~snip~

Slots offer more excitement than sport betting cause I felt like there's no fun in it where we only guessing on which team will win, how much score will they get, etc. also slots didn't require so much analysis it's really suitable for me which I really busy in my work.

Both types of betting are equally enjoyable, so it's a bit difficult to distinguish between them. Specifically, I see a slight difference in how we experience enjoyment. In sports betting, one has to wait a long time, like 90 minutes, for the game to end to truly know which team wins. In slot games, we can experience excitement almost every minute because the results are immediate. Furthermore, I find slots to be more tense every minute because every time you click a button, the results come out instantly. Your expression changes every minute depending on the outcome. I think that's what makes slots exciting. In slots, you can hit a big jackpot in just a few minutes, or vice versa.

Essentially, both are enjoyable. The difference is that what you find enjoyable may not be enjoyable for someone else.

You're right, what makes something enjoyable is subjective. Some people love the excitement of sports betting when the game still on, while I prefer the instant result when playing slots. In the end, it’s all about personal preference and how each person experiences fun in doing gamble. I have many friends who loves sport betting cause it less Manipulated than slots.

How does changing your strategy affect you in gambling?

How good is it for long-term gambling results by changing strategies repeatedly?

I'm not expecting gambling will be profitable for me but sometimes it can become so fun since playing slots is very simple. Changing strategies repeatedly will affect our playstyle so it's better to look for a startegy that fit our playstyle than following other people strategy. But of course having some strategies will increase our chance of wining but still not guarantee to win.

Yes, all games on the group stage are best of 2 series only. But after that, they'd go to elimination phase and that's when the best of 3 will start.
This is the update now for the second day of the Esports World Cup or known in the past as Riyadh Masters. Virtus.Pro is in trouble and likely they'll be part of the two teams to get eliminated at the end of this phase. While for Team Liquid, they've beaten Parivision twice again, since Fissure Universe, Parivision never won against them.

~snip~

BO2 games with no Elimination is boring to watch, they probably trying their strat or keeping their strat for next phase which will eliminate them if they didn't win the game. It felt fast in group stage cause they have 3 stage Group stage > Elimination Phase > Playoffs, no wonder Group Stage feels so fast compare to previous Tier 1 Tournament.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much risk is it worth taking? on: July 10, 2025, 11:08:42 PM
~snip~
I understand  what you are talking about, but we have to also understand that gambling and investing is not the same thing in gambling for taking risk you don't have to think much but in kind of investing you have to think a lot as well you also need that knowledge before investment.
And besides, the risk we take in gambling is only a small amount of risk for entertainment, on the other hand, if we consider it from the perspective of investing, this investment is always large in size. And besides, if the risk of investment is taken with the mentality of taking the risk of gambling, then in most cases there is a possibility of an unsuccessful business.
Yeah, it is what I am saying. They're different story but the principle of taking risk in gambling is both applied in invesing as well. And that's the worth a gambler gets with how risky they are in their bets. They can even take more risk in investments. So, there's no need to expound that much about the difference of it because I agree that they're completely different worlds. But the attitude, approach and principle that someone does as they take risk, they're applicable in different walks of our lives and not just in gambling.

Both gamblers and investors face the same thing when it comes to risk, since there's always a chance of losing money in both. However, gambling often leads to addiction, which is why many people end up broke. Even if a gambler starts by using only money they can afford to lose, once addiction sets in, they might start dipping into their savings and eventually lose everything.
I’m not sure why gambling is so addictive for most people, but for me, I just spend a little money to enjoy the bet.

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will altcoins ever cheap again? on: May 29, 2024, 10:54:45 PM
Now crypto market is growing super faster along with Bitcoin. Altcoins are become so expensive. People who keep waiting to buy altcoins with cheap price during Bitcoin halving, are disappointed cause market is still on up trend. Sometimes little dump is happening but market recovery also done so fastly. So what do you think? Will altcoins ever cheap again? Or you are buying overprice altcoins?

Not all altcoins are expensive right now if you're looking for a promising altcoin you can invest and get a nice profit later. Right now I'm buying both some cheap and some expensive altcoin because old altcoins feel safer compared to new altcoins because not many altcoins will survive in the next bear market so choosing the right altcoins is more important than waiting for altcoins to become cheap again.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How you trade in uncertain times? on: May 29, 2024, 10:52:57 PM
We all know how volatile the market is right now especially since we are still near the all-time high. With sudden price swings and unpredictable trends, traders need to be ready with some strategies.
So, what strategies can you advise especially in protecting our capital, some technical analysis strategies? OR some diversification tactics between stablecoins, bitcoin, or altcoins?

Share some of your experiences or tips on effectively trading in these uncertain times.

I'm keeping some USD to buy more when the price falling to where I put my buy order, when something uncertain happen it's better to avoid leverage trading cause price can fall suddenly and make your trade liquidated. Always use TA when we want to trade and look for the TA result, know the risk if we enter the market now because not everyone ready for FUD out there.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget Bitcoin - Memecoins Like Pepe, FLOKI and Bonk Are the Big Gainers Now on: May 28, 2024, 10:20:58 PM
~snip~

The big question is: which memecoin will perform best going forward this year? Could we see Dogecoin reclaim its former glory as the king of memecoins? Or will newcomers like Pepe, FLOKI, WIF and Bonk continue to steal the spotlight? I'll like to hear your views...

We will see a lot of influencers that promoting memecoin in this bull run because lots of people will only become exit liquidity to those who understand how to play it, as long as we don't forget to take profit it will be fine, as long as we know the risk you can go ahead to invest your money in memecoin. Memecoin is really tempting when we saw the profit in this bull run, but there are always lots of risk behind it, and we should prepare if something bad happen.
16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Take Profits! Its important! on: May 28, 2024, 10:16:35 PM
When we are at Extreme Greed you need to be taking some profit off the table. Most people in crypto fail to keep the money they've made. They either sell too late or they selfishly watch all profits fall back to zero.

I've seen this happening each cycle.
~snip~

Well, most altcoins can give you -99% loss in a blink of eye if you hold it for long term and forgot to take profit because the trend for altcoins is always changing every bull season that's why many altcoins just for exit liquidity in a bull season. Bitcoin will be the best if you put Fibonacci analysis to know where you take profit or where you open your trade so make sure to trade using TA because without preparation many people will only become an exit liquidity.
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Share your Crypto experience. on: May 26, 2024, 10:31:23 AM
I have now been investing in Crypto for 10 months and its been a test of patience thats for sure, feel like I have entered in a bad year with lots going on causing these bad times and low prices we are currently seeing.

My portfolio is currently 36% down And feel I have no choice but to hold till the next bull run which is hopefully only 12-18 months away. I will continue to DCA but in recent weeks I have slowed down having gone from investing every week to every 2 weeks as the prices just keep falling.

I am just wondering if those who have been involved with crypto for a few years at least could share their experience and offer any advice for those new like myself?

Thanks

Doing lots of Bounties and investing many cryptocurrencies but in the end the reward from doing all the work sometimes got used for emergency case because I lack having an emergency fund. But until now Crypto only something that I did when I have free time because I have work and family in real life. It's quite hard to maintain my time with both of them(family and work) so I only did DCA and hold for long term right now.
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop paying money to learn trading when you can learn it yourself on: May 26, 2024, 10:27:10 AM
~snip~

1. Learning on YouTube and other PDF resources online
2. Attending conferences and watching trading podcast
3. Find a mentor, whether offline or online. You may not be close to this person but always study his trade
4. Practice always and maintain consistency

Everything mentioned above seems very simple to those of us who want to learn trading. However, not everyone has the time to start learning slowly. That's why many people want to pay someone to teach or guide them in trading so they can fast their progress in learning. Paying money to learn trading is like investing in ourselves because it's similar to paying to learn piano or paying for a degree
