PPV CANCELLED DUE TO LACK OF INTEREST
2  Other / Meta / Re: Administrators and Moderators: A Serious Issue Regarding Illegal Activities on: November 15, 2011, 02:34:40 PM
I would almost suggest Atlas get a restraining order instead of just a defamation suit. I've mentioned before, you can't change people, no matter how hard you try, and especially online. People can only change themselves. It ironic Matthew would say Atlas is overvaluing himself, since from the amount of time and energy that Matthew pours into Atlas's life, it's pretty clear that Matt is quite obsessed with Atlas. I can't begin to guess why, but these slap fights are almost like watching to elementary school kids with one having a crush, not knowing how to deal with it, and bickering with the other instead, like some boy pulling a girl's hair just to get her attention.

This thread is about Atlas crying out for attention, not me. My thread was an honest question regarding the allowance of sock puppet accounts here. Also, I kept my discussion about Atlas' promises in PM only bringing what myself and numerous others feel is blatant theft to the public when it felt it was the right thing to do.

Atlas posts provocative topics for people to discuss. His philosophy is not unique, but a lot of people see it as strange or extreme, and thus give them a lot of attention, after which Atlas continues to debate with them. Sure, he may answer in an "I am absolutely right about this" tone, and his cold logic no doubt is percieved as somewhat shocking, but seems he's only interested in discussing provocative topics, or in getting involved in some enterpreneurial venture. Both perfectly fine qualities. I don't really see the cry for attention from his end. There ARE a LOT of other posters that seem to completely obsess over every one of his posts, mostly it seems due to his rather uncommon philosophy. Too often it's also him posting that he is happy with who he is and what he does, and others, perhaps not happy or satisfied themselves, trying to bring him down to their level. Just because you went through shit due to your own personal similar quirks doesn't mean he will too. And if he does, so what? It builds character, or whatever. Your obsession with him seems almost disturbed. I'm not kidding when I say you sound like a girl completely romantically obsessed with some guy of whom you've built an ideal image in your head, and are now trying to change him when you realized he doesn't fit that image. He's not your lover, and you can't change him. You have nothing to offer him that he would want in exchange for deviating from where he is most comfortable. Also, redirecting the DNS is not transfer of ownership. If you didn't sign any contracts, it's on you for being stupid enough to set up any serious business agreements with an allegedly emotionally unstable 17yo.
He posts stupid topics (see OP) that people then mock until he closes the thread and creates a new account. It's not "cold logic" that's the problem, it's Atlas' perennial inability to actually argue anything. There's no logic there, just a kind of crazy self-formed dogma that he based on a few books and a complete lack of understanding of the real world.

He posts about how happy he is about who he is and what he does...then deletes his account and creates a new one, refuses to admit that he's ripped people off, etc. His actions do not match his words.

Don't get me wrong, MNW is an obsessive weirdo who taunts and stalks Atlas for attention, but Atlas is still a comically inept child who no one should be taking seriously.

4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Humility is garbage. You're too awesome for it. on: November 11, 2011, 03:11:33 PM
Serious question, not a troll. Atlas: have you ever spoken to a professional about your moods? You seem to veer from depression to delusions of grandeur on a regular basis.

I do not mean to diagnose someone over the internet but that reeks of bipolar disorder to me and if true you'd be far happier without the destructive highs and debilitating lows of BD.

You know absolutely nothing about me. I suggest you begin to realize I know what's best for myself, my life and my body.
I'm not judging you. All I'm saying is that the OP screamed "manic episode!" at me.

6  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Destruction on: November 11, 2011, 11:12:41 AM
Preventing destruction, I'm all for that. Destroying an adversary that creates more destruction than what he produces is only a gain.

However, destruction in the name of the destruction that has occurred, merely an eye for an eye... If that's justice, call me unjust as much as you please. Equality is overrated. Equality for the sake of equality is a farce of crocodile tears and envy. It is merely emotion with only loss for us all.

End the 1% they claim. Redistribute the wealth they say. It would only be so just if they had truly been stolen from. Have the purported victims --the 99%-- been so looted and so raped of this great value they have created; the millions upon millions that are earned by these specialists; by these doctors, lawyers, scientists and technicians that make the so-called 1%? Will the dissolution of their regime of offering highly valuable services to society really make things just or only lead to further destruction?

OWS are protesting against:
1. Income disparity. Wages have been stagnant for decades. Productivity has risen but the benefits are all going to the top 1% who have had a 300% increase in pay.
2. Tax disparity. See: Warren Buffett.
3. The GFC. Banks gave out stupid loans, sold those loans to 401(k) funds, bet against them, and then took money from the government. The bankers made bank but everyone else got fucked by a trifecta: 401(k)s tanked, shitty economy, and an increased future tax burden.
4. Wealth disparity. See #1. Worse, since no one in the middle or working class has money, the economy is shit because no one can buy anything. Meanwhile the rich are investing but the consumer economy - the driving force behind the US - is weak.
5. Education. You'll find this one out in a few years. The minimum wage has DECREASED but education costs have increased at double the rate of inflation. Remember how people would "work their way through school?" Students cannot pay for school while they study any more. Worse, students loans are enforced by the federal government and not discharged by bankruptcy. Get $70k in debt from a school, find a $30k/year job, eat ramen every night for 20 years. If you can find a job that is! See: http://consumerist.com/studentloanscheme2.jpg
6. "Job creators." There's a lot of bullshit spouted about these mythical people and how we should cut their taxes...except taxes are LOW and there are no jobs. So we need to cut them more! (If we're crazy.)

The "1%" is shorthand for all that.

Why are they so pissed? Why are they occupying cities and will stay even through NYC's harsh winter? Because their votes mean nothing: Obama was a fraud who supports the banks and the only senator who is saying a damn thing about the situation is Bernie Sanders. One guy in 535.

Incidentally, how many "technicians" or scientists are in the top 1%? Exactly none.

PS I love the phrase "a farce of crocodile tears and envy." How can something so original sound so hackneyed? Are all of your posts constructed using Markov chains and romance novels?
7  Other / Off-topic / Re: Matthew, I wish to present you a gift. on: November 11, 2011, 10:48:23 AM
Egomaniacal tirade? Check. Entanglement in a web of half-truths? Check. Contradictions even within the same sentence? Check.

Try humility some time. It's nice to have respect.

I have gotten pretty far by being myself. Humility is for the insecure. It is only a virtue to the weak and the enslaved. I do not obey and I do not submit. I recognize and revere the virtues and accomplishments of others while retaining my value as a human being. I am not lower than any cause, entity or person. I only act and love out of my existence. To provide value is to be of value and that I shall remain.

It's like seeing a piano student try to play like Rachmaninov: he hits most of the right notes but the rhythm is completely off and it all sounds stilted and broken.

Atlas, you do not sound intelligent when you write like this. Your sentences don't flow at all and most of the longer words that you use don't quite mean what you think that they do. Your grammar and syntax are "good" in that they follow grammatical rules in a mechanical sense but none of it strings together well; a copy-editor would slap the shit out of you. Worse, when you write this sort of confused paragraph on how great you are and how humility is for those who lack confidence, you merely come across as immature and/or stupid.

Oh, and saying that you're not "insecure" is just silly: you've created a dozen accounts to hide your mistakes and you've threatened suicide on these forums. If you were truly secure in who you are, you'd make a mistake and be able to learn from it and walk on with your head held high instead of hiding it poorly behind a new persona that any idiot could spot because your writing style is so obvious. If you were able and experienced enough to be that secure then you wouldn't do/say any of the things that you have been.

You're a kid, be a kid. Step away from the computer, have fun with your youth, accept that you can be a dumbfuck sometimes (because, like all 17yos, you are), and stop trying to be a pompous adult.
8  Other / Meta / Re: Administrators and Moderators: A Serious Issue Regarding Illegal Activities on: November 10, 2011, 09:16:24 PM

In this thread, two reprehensible scammer sociopaths fight.

You mean one named Matthew.

And the other a self righteous atlas, you two really should just talk out a mutually beneficial agreement like adults.

What? Don't try to stop them - this shit is funny!

On the one hand we have a 17yo who makes up with thesaurus time what he lacks in ethics, and who suffers delusions of competence. On the other we have a middle-aged nobody who lies about his "career" as a Korean educator/crime-fighter, who is obsessed with said 17yo, and who - while running his own scam business - endlessly screeches about Atlas' fraud. I don't know which is funnier.

I suppose that at least there's a chance that Atlas will one day grow out of it; the same cannot be said of Mr. Wright.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MoonCoin Message I discovered, not many saw this? on: September 28, 2011, 03:28:51 PM
Cash is the scammer's dream too? Smiley

For someone to rip you off in person, they have to make an escape before you realize you've been had.

With Bitcoin, they're already gone before you sent the cash.
Also, the average bitcoin devotee is typically more gullible about BTC than most people are with cash.
10  Other / Off-topic / Re: PinkiePie Troll History on: September 26, 2011, 02:11:42 AM
Possibly two other clues we missed: Using BBS as this is all BS (the first B for Bitcoin); PinkiePie's local time is in the Eastern Time Zone.
Possible other clues you missed: it was glaringly obvious that it was a joke.

FYI things like this make you sound like a bombastic teenager.

Actually, it's not even your English that's the problem. It's your insane, misguided politics/philosophy/economic theory that you really need to fix.
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: Whoever said Atlas was probably one of those jackasses... on: September 23, 2011, 05:32:27 PM
...where the words he uses feel just a tad off in their meanings.

For future posterity, I would appreciate some examples. Frankly, I don't see any notable flaws in my writing although I would graciously accept any valid insight.
"future posterity" = I just found a thesaurus.
"graciously accept" = clumsy and doesn't quite mean what you think it means. Perhaps you mean gracefully? Gratefully? Other people may view you as gracious but you cannot declare yourself such.

Humility is for suckers who need provisioning from the crowd. I already have the joy I need.
"I take it in pride." Stride
"Go ahead, hang your head down and cry in shame when you are defeated if that what life is to you; mere suffering." This sentence is contorted.
"I will retain my happiness and continue trying to achieve it to greater heights." Ditto.
Provisioning makes no sense in that context.

I think you, bitconformist, would be the perfect person to write the screenplay.

+1. You definitely have talent. Can't wait to read it.

The post I quoted from was written three days prior to PinkiePie's dad's first post calling her Ayn. Trolls love Ayn (Rand). They sometimes try to emulate her writing style, as well. Maybe I should just shrug it off.
Tht is NOT evidence of a link. I have nothing to do with PinkiePie. Nver met her.

It's a goddamn shame you waste all your potential on your dumb conspiracy theories, poor grasp of economics, and related ventures that are far out of your grasp. If you set realistic goals and gave up this "always sure of yourself, even when you're wrong" thing and had a little humility and learned from your past mistakes, you could probably actually accomplish something with your life.
I am always goddamn sure of myself when I am wrong. I am happy to be wrong because I am one ounce less ignorant. I take it in pride. This made me unironically LOL in real life. Seriously dude, you write like what you are: a 17yo with no life experience, no real education, and all the verbose pomposity in the world.

There is. It's called cash.

I hate carrying cash.
I can hold it for you. $5/month for the service and I'll take great pains to look after it - Mybitcoin was an inspiration to me!

So what is the advantage to using this over Visa/MC? No chargebacks?
Yep and you get geek/libertarian cred.
Geeks don't go to bars.
Libertarians don't go to bars with other people because they're goddamn insufferable.

Not a big market.

oooh! A whole month! That's worth less than 1 BTC at most any BTC accepting hosts!

What is wrong with you, seriously. At this point you should be giving the domain away.

Next.
Next what?
