2361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Baby Doge? on: July 19, 2021, 08:03:24 AM
Might become the next shiba inu but as you know meme coin is a highly speculative coins and generally not recommended for investment, its more or less the same as gambling and isnt really recommended not to mention its growth mainly coming from elons tweet as well.
Meme coins is all about what feature it has as gimmick like swap etc , you can pretty much make judgment on your own.
2362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dissapointments of the creation of the thousands of failed altcoins. on: July 19, 2021, 07:42:16 AM
Its just the same as creating company, making altcoin is also essentially making company and not all of them gonna succeed make them millionaire very fast. Theres tears and blood in every success of a project so if you are an investor expect the project to run not as smooth as you imagined as there is always something need to be tackled. And to be honest its like common sense in investment, i think why people gets disappointed because many of them putting too much expectation after seeing the crazy bull run that has happened and turns out its not as what they have imagined
2363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: am i the only one expecting the market to be worse than this? on: July 19, 2021, 07:11:35 AM
Even if the market turns out to be the worse, seeing all the hype rrvolving around us regarding nft, defi etc obly show a sign that this market is not gonna go anywhere, you can say the market could go down so much as you predicted hut there eventually be a time where we see green in the market and recovers its price back to near ATH again. But anything could happen in crypto, more or less same with stocks.
2364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk made tweet about animal coin again. Time to buy doge and Shiba Inu? on: July 19, 2021, 06:36:34 AM
Don't be easily influenced by Elon Musk's tweets, what happened some time ago is at least an experience for all of us, Elon Musk may return to playing the market and looking for profits to enrich himself. Don't be easily provoked by his invitation.
Right. Theres always some little reason behind elon's tweet. As I can see we dont know what hes planning but maybe hes just making the market hype, who knows if elon himself also created some meme coins in his leisure time and trying to get the market worked up for that. This kind of speculation just msde from tweet could ve very harmful to our financial condition, just a warning.
2365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lesson from bear market on: July 19, 2021, 06:29:19 AM
The market is extremely volatile in a bear market. This fluctuation has also brought us great losses. However, we can firmly hold the valuable mainstream currency.

I think its usually the mainstream currency that gets demolished easily when the bearish come, some alt with lower market cap still keep its value pretty well but also some other altcoins that are getting impacted so hard.
Just see how BTC could affect literally 5 coins below it from the market movement. I will prefer diversifying my portfolio to some smaller coins as well like NFT coins.

2367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why women are the minority in crypto land? on: July 03, 2021, 05:39:28 AM
there's no real data that shows how much percent of crypto users actually a female and if there's any, does that cover the entire world though? so can't really say that they are minority however, it's just same like other male dominated jobs because male more interested in it than female but I guess there's also many other reasons and factors as well.
but frankly speaking, very few people actually cares about gender in crypto spaces, so this kind of thing not gonna be a problem in the future, everyone, male or female are free to do whatever they want in crypto space.
2368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Celsius CEO says BTC price will go to $160,000 this year, what will happen then? on: July 03, 2021, 12:49:57 AM
Altcoins could either be plummeted or instead gets pumped alongside with BTC if succesfully build the hype again, I mean, altcoins is nothing taboo anymore, almost everyone that invests to BTC also invest to altcoins to increase profit and diversify portfolio
I'm pretty sure no harm will go to alt if BTC price go that high if the market capitalization increases due to inflow of capital from outside, and I think $160000 is not unrealistic target, if not for the recents massive fud we probably could've hit above $80K by today.
2369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: At what point do we confirm the long term aspect of a project is guaranteed? on: July 02, 2021, 04:55:19 AM
Erase the term 'guaranteed' from your mind when you dealing with crypto projects even BTC, there is nothing to fall back on if things go side ways, there is no one to take responsibility that's why crypto have zero guarantee, and again crypto isn't a 100% store of value because of volatility
Even in stocks there's no guarantee as well, the company could go down very fast and that is a market which regulated heavily unlike crypto.
so don't expect too much like a project being guaranteed in crypto but tbh if the project is invested heavily by some institutional investors then it usually opens up the possibility of the project getting sued by that institutional investors so making the project a little bit guaranteed to not do a rugpull or some similar thing.
2370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about NFTs? on: July 02, 2021, 04:26:13 AM
^^ Like that title says. I want to know more about what you guys in Altcoin Discussion think about NFTs?

Do you have any overall thoughts or even any NFT projects you like? lmk
Non frangible Tokens (NFTs) the most important things in cryptocurrencies market. It's a sticker based assets which have value. It's a good art with popular celebrities.
It's not only limited to that, NFT is actually covers very wide market, the fact that NFT can be utilized for various sectors due to its capability of generating token with unique attributes and that could be taken advantage of by many platforms such as gaming
so it's not only limited to art, also software licensing, and many more. It's very useful actually, also can be used for government data, etc but maybe only works in goviernment owned blockchain.
2371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do whales manipulate the market? on: July 01, 2021, 05:59:17 AM
We all know that this market has always been, the price and control of it from the whales is undeniable. Maybe with the current cap we can be happy that it is a lot different from before, but to be honest it is still very small compared to other markets.
Most of whales are targeting the market by affecting it from retailers' psychology such as spreading fud and that could very well affect the market despite the ever growing market capitalization.
Moreover if they succesfully making people in state of fear, the panic seller could be a lot bigger since as you know, the recent bullrun has attracted many new comers and whether the market manipulation is rather small compared to other market
we don't know but the thing is, a lot of crypto market are unregulated ones. which can be good and bad.
2372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happen if US ban cryptocurrencies? on: July 01, 2021, 03:51:55 AM
So many crypto based companies in there from the large ones to the smaller ones so the chance maybe is rather slim but if they do the effect will be devastating, large portion of market cap or btc holders coming from the US and if that happens that means
we gonna lost those capitals making the market have less liquidity and probably getting dumped hard as well since there gonna be major sell off. but definitely not gonna put cryptocurrency to death, it will still exist and have value.
2373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about NFTs? on: June 30, 2021, 08:25:51 AM
^^ Like that title says. I want to know more about what you guys in Altcoin Discussion think about NFTs?

I think NFTs are the best strategy for money laundering nowadays... For me is nonsense to see someone spending a huge amount of money on a digital piece of art, but is a nice way to justify a transaction... so if someone buys drugs or weapons on the internet they can justify the big amount of money with this technology and under the water send the package.

This is the only way NFTs have a sense for me. There is not other way to justify why will someone spend a big amount of money on a PNG or a JPG.
NFT is not just an art, infact art isn't the only thing that made up NFT market nowadays, and tbh those overblown art are indeed seems like money laundering or just trying to gain fame done by the buyers but NFT could be very promising like
giving a way for musician to sell license through NFT, etc. Not to mention that the thing you mentioned isn't just a JPG picture where everyone could get from internet, it's the right of ownership that make the art NFT could sells so high.
2374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to libra coins on: June 30, 2021, 02:04:02 AM
It sparks a lot of issue from the regulatory side, so many people opposes it and what I mean by people including politican and government higher ups maybe because it's coming from facebook and that could somehow shake the monetary system but we don't know for sure what's really holding it back meanwhile service like paypal accepting crypto just fine, maybe it has something to do with the concept of the libra project that probably deemed to be rather fishy or what, idk.
2375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Does DeFi Lending and Borrowing Work? on: June 29, 2021, 07:21:13 AM
Defi lending is just allowing you to borrow while your assed gonna be used as a collateral, it's just the same as lending in real world, except it's done automatically with code instead of needing human intervention.
But what blows my mind is the flash loan, which essentially allowing someone to borrow millions of dollar without collateral, to literally anyone, but there's special requirement why that could be done and why that's not gonna make the platform goes bankrupt.
2376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My opinion on Ethereum 2.0 on: June 29, 2021, 04:43:07 AM
You can always join validator pool where they gather the amounts of ETH staked from many individuals, so basically the saying of someone need to have 32ETH to become a validator is invalid,
and POS in a nutshell is just making the blockchain simpler in terms of being validator and less energy consumption at the expense of security, there's many discussion about the security factor that holds back many old coins from switching to PoS.
Freezing of ETH is unavoidable unless the pool could offer some kind of contract that allows anyone to cash out like anytime with some charged fee, that way it's sustainable for the pool provider.
2377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB has tokens for each Altcoin on: June 29, 2021, 02:55:25 AM
It's just wrapped token so you can interact with most of smart contract using these tokens but it really pegged to the real coin,
for example, if you want to swap BEP20 token to altcoin like litecoin, since it's not available in BSC you usually need to go to cex and exchange there and that's the only way you can get that, but with these wrapped tokens, you can use for example pancakeswap to get wrapped litecoin tokens that represents the real token.
nothing new and it's not even strategy, it's just a way to give more capability to trade other blockchain coins for dex or defi users in their blockchain.
2378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT still hot??? on: June 29, 2021, 01:52:53 AM
First it was Defi and many made millions. then enters NFTS and it was not as successful as it is because it involves huge resalers and copy right. i think the current trending tokwn is Meme coins. recently The popular marketer of dogecoin elon has discovered another token he banks on not minding the shibu inu token. As always floke will become huge success. just because of Elon.
NFT is successfully gaining its stance as a solution to the representation of physical goods but tokenized, it's gonna be here for a long time considering its real use case once people figured that this kind of thing exists,
what we need for NFT is just a platform that allows even the people who doesn't really know technology to use it, not to mention if government gets interested in it even if they runs NFT token in a consortium blockchain or private blockchain
it's still gonna be a good thing.
2379  Economy / Economics / Re: Permanent residence in El Salvador for crypto entrepreneurs on: June 28, 2021, 09:17:34 AM

El Salvador must b a good place to live for a bitcoiner.

Like any country, your cost of living varies to where in the country you live in. If in the major cities, you may find it higher because prices of basic needs are higher especially if you rent a house. Living somewhere outside the cities would be cheaper but comes with risk. Be reminded that it's Central America already and things are true with what you see on TV. I'm not from El Salvador but because base on my experience it's how they are.

With a country having such a high crime rate, I would not recommend moving to remote rural areas. I know that the crime rate has come down recently, with the president (Nayib Bukele) cracking down on the gang culture. But in Latin America, there is no stability as far as the political situation is concerned. On top of that, the Americans have also made it one of their top priorities to get Bukele out of office. In case he is replaced as the president, then there is a good chance that the pro-Bitcoin policies will be reversed, and the crime rate may go back to the previous levels.
If they could succesfully supress the criminal rate in their country while also enforcing this law that in favour of cryptopeneur they could be another dubai where rich people gathers.
The bill they gonna pass is some revolutionary ones that have such big potential to gather capital to their country, such a waste for that effort if they can't optimally attract cryptopreneurs from over the world just because of that.

2380  Economy / Economics / Re: Founders of South African Bitcoin exchange disappear after $3.6 billion 'hack' on: June 28, 2021, 05:09:15 AM
It's really time for p2p and decentralized exchange to shine seriously, until how many times people gonna get scammed again and again meanwhile if there's a trustless platform for p2p where people could trade to each other without any struggle to trust each other while also making things convenient, it should become a preferred method. These centralized exchange scamming and their owner that could get away with billions of dollar honestly is really tiring to hear.
sad thing though people still gonna prefer to use cex despite all these cases.
