2481  Economy / Speculation / Re: One Year After The 2020 Halving, Bitcoin Price Has Gained 533% on: May 12, 2021, 10:06:49 AM
what can I say except it's gonna go even higher, just think about it, the halving that decrease block reward + people losing money to some random wallet because of mistake which I know is not a good thing but dirrectly affect circulating supply, I could imagine the scarcity of bitcoin increases while adoption also doesn't seem to be stopping until now. If from the recent halving it could rise as much as 533% there's no stopping it from rising more than 1000% in the future. Moreover many people also trying to create defi for bitcoin by taking advantage of "bitcoin sidechain" like RSK.
2482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RUMOUR: Facebook will announce they hold #Bitcoin on: May 12, 2021, 08:54:52 AM
In my opinion, it is very unlikely that the Facebook company will adopt bitcoin, didn't they previously say that bitcoin is not good for investment because there is no guarantor for the asset, so they make their own stablecoin called libra and which can guarantee our assets like conventional currencies in general , but so far there has been no sign of launch.
Anything is possible mate, and maybe they just trying to diversify their portfolio and put some of them to cryptocurrencies including bitcoin, even mark zuckerberg has recently teasing people by naming his goat facebook though maybe it's just merely a tease and nothing more.
their libra coin also seem to be stagnant these days, maybe the company just playing safe and wait until CBDC out first then they gonna release their own version of stablecoin but IMHO the most logical scenario is that their company just follow other company that try to invest in crypto alike.
2483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction fees lower than alts on: May 12, 2021, 07:14:11 AM
I think it's because most of bitcoin holders aren't really moving their coin that much not to mention most of people nowadays prefer coin like tron, etc to make payment online so the transaction fee kinda low, ETH in the other hand having many dapps hosted on top of its blockchain and the ERC20 tokens too, it does make sense for ETH to have significantly higher fee if you compare it.
Transaction fees on Ethereum blockchain is crazy now. Sometimes, it needs more than value of a altcoin. Yes, you're right that we don't focus properly that we are spending more on altcoin. At this time we should use Bsc and Tron for saving some extra money.
Most of the dapps that are created on top of ETH blockchain executes rather many smart contract code thus the gas quantity required is astronomically high but it's indeed already high even just sending money definitely not a solution for ordinary people.
2484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So funny! Elon Musk brings Doge to the real moon. on: May 12, 2021, 04:06:29 AM
It will be better if elon instead allow payment for his upcoming spaceX starlink internet service using doge or bitcoin so that way cryptocurrency could also get consistent demand while elon could also reaches wider coverage of customers.
I heard their service provider gonna cover the whole earth so I'm expecting that elon gonna open service internationally as much as possible thought there's something like regulation etc that holding it back but just imagine, an international internet service that accepts cryptocurrency not just sending satellite to the moon.
2485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I swap my BTC to altcoins and hold for better benefits? on: May 12, 2021, 02:16:53 AM
It's always better to hoard btc instead of alt and most of people investing in altcoin usually just to speed up their ROI but you also must remember that alt also have significantly higher risk of vanishing into thin air
Maybe just divide your portfolio and allocate some of them to altcoin but I personally once the alt i'm holding giving the ROI that i've targeted I gonna convert it back to BTC to increase my btc holding.
But the sideways of btc already happened for months I'm sure it's gonna change very soon.
2486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Zuckerberg named his goat Bitcoin on: May 11, 2021, 09:00:20 AM
Okay, when I see some of my friend share this pict in discord I thought this was just a joke turns out it was true, but it seems zuckerberg doesn't have as much influence as elon in term of crypto maybe because of his track record of messing things up when it comes to privacy and all or maybe he's doing that just to get some publication and potentially release his long proposed stablecoin, but his post if i'm being honest kinda pointless lol.
2487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tom Brady changes his twitter profile pic to Laser Eyes on: May 11, 2021, 06:38:40 AM
It could be that Tom Brady is just following trend but seeing he's replying a to a tweet mention that he's currently loading up some bitcoin its kind of obvious that he is holding some bitcoin but just didn't disclose to the public because he has the right to now announce it in public anyway.
But this laser eye trend to push btc to 100k really trending though, even some people that I've known for long never really touch cryptocurrency also following this trend and ofcourse having no idea that it is a crypto trend.
2488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Elon Interested in Dogecoin? on: May 11, 2021, 04:51:52 AM
We don't know what the real reason behind it but elon just seems to like doge because it's a meme coin and the shiba dog as its logo. I mean when he first supports doge he just supports it out of the blue and maybe the fact that developers of this coin itself already sold their doge possession that opens up a way for elon to take over the influence to this dogecoin as well as preventing him from being taken advantage of by some small group of people who possess dogecoin but that's just an assumption.
2489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Coin On PANCAKESWAP on: May 11, 2021, 02:23:26 AM
PANCAKESWAP is a fairly new crypto exchange. Many new cryptocurrencies are introduced there everyday.

Are you any scam coins on this site? Anybody faced any scam coins there before?

If you are going to trade on decentralized exchanges you get this warning and you should not ignore this warning and always follow the DEX's warning, scammers know that there are careless people who will ignore warnings because they are in a hurry to trade.

right? even if people want to trade coins that aren't officially recognized by pancakeswap itself they need to go as far as copying the smart contract address and pasting it to the swap platform meaning those coins are obviously created by someone who has no link to pancakeswap whatsoever so if anyone getting scammed out of buying some random shitcoins that coming out of nowhere they definitely are as guilty as the scammer because they intentionally buying it despite all the complicated step they need to take.
2490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yahoo Hates BTC: "Forget Bitcoin: Here are The Crypto Assets To Follow" on: May 10, 2021, 09:15:19 AM
I find it kinda ironic that author of that Yahoo article said that "Bitcoin is to the crypto market what Netscape was to search engines in the early days of the Internet. There’s a need for a better solution, and the market is responding." while he unintentionally described Yahoo itself, as they are indeed on the path to become as relevant as Netscape is today Cheesy. With the kind of clueless people they hire, from top to  bottom as that author, no wonder that they are shadow of once respectable company.

But seriously, who reads Yahoo anyways??

LOL ,i do agree they don't try to look at themselves in the mirror but many businessmen etc still reading yahoo finance, not to mention it was built-in to some of electronic devices like mac and Iphone i've seen the news from yahoo finance quite frequently.
Talking about the article though, bitcoin was deemed to be the digital gold, doesn't matter whether it's gonna be outdated technology and innovation wise it's still considered as expensive thing nonetheless so there's no such thing as the netscape of crypto or whatever since bitcoin itself doesn't generate profit from usage unlike yahoo and netscape and it seems the author doesn't really get themselves up to date with the current market anyway.
2491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Tells His Mother Dogecoin Is Her Mother's Day Gift on: May 10, 2021, 08:30:56 AM
He is a visionary about our civilization, I give him that but realistically, we haven't tapped yet the full potential of our world and we are probably going to go extinct before we can become an interplanetary civilization with this nukes on the midst. That is a pretty wholesome gift in my opinion, because if you look at it, it's like a kid giving his mother a gift that the kid really likes. Now if this story about Elon giving DOGE to his mother then you should probably start investing in DOGE since this isn't going to be the last time that someone is going to pump that coin.
No one know for sure whether we could make it, to be interplanetary civilization but we can definitely do both thing, maximizing the potential of our world while also tapping to be interplanetary civilization and even better if crypto technology was essential for that to happen considering I can't imagine using paper money in mars for those people in the future who gonna resides there and yeah, the doge hype definitely not gonna end this month, there's still many waves of elon's shill and doge massive pump so people better be prepared, though I definitely gonna avoid touching such volatile coin, i'm fine with the other coins that aren't as volatile.
2492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance CEO CZ Defends Binance Smart Chain's Ethereum Copycats on: May 10, 2021, 07:20:33 AM
I think this kind of thing, pointing who copies who, shouldn't be of concern. After all, blockchain projects revolve around the idea of open source where anyone could create their own version of it very easily. both BSC and ETH devs should be concerned a lot more in advancing blockchain technology and make it becomes irreplaceable technology while also essential in many systems including government so that it would further revolutionise the way this world works.
After all, this way we can get a lot more innovations when many people regardless of their status or background could contribute into refining the already existing projects even if it's doing some rebranding, I personally oppose group of people copying a project from other chain just for grabbing money but if the open source nature of ETH or any cryptocurrency could boost crypto adoption and many more, why not.
2493  Economy / Economics / Re: If we have crypto Why people still buy stocks? on: May 10, 2021, 05:49:16 AM
stock aren't lacking in volatility either, you see in crypto most of the coins that get pumped hard are those kind of coins that usually have lower market cap and not even top 50, same with stock, some of the stock more specifically the smaller market cap and have lower rate tend to get massive pump and there's nothing wrong with investing in stock. I mean the two thing can coexist right?not to mention some people also concerned with legality of crypto which I assume not gonna be a problem in the future but some country still forbid the citizens from trading it.
2494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better: Ethereum or the Binance Smart Chain? on: May 10, 2021, 04:01:25 AM
I chose binance smart chain (BSC), because the fee is cheaper and faster. the only good thing about ethereum at the moment is the price. And everything else is outdated, there are many platforms that are better than ethereum. ethereum is an outdated platform that stays in use simply because they've been around longer than others. but BSC is different, there are lots of new innovations and all of that more than ethereum.
I don't see anything that's outdated in eth despite the TPS itself that's kinda low, even BSC itself actually just a hf from current ethereum with some flavour which if i'm being frank not that different, if any it's just BSC have higher tps and rather centralized that allows it to be faster than ETH however once full implementation of eth 2.0 done like side chain or sharding BSC will simply become outdated while ETH becoming stronger than ever.
If what you're talking about new innovations in BSC are those nft marketplace and swap that coming up everyday and was meant to be money grab, I don't think that's really an innovation.
2495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for the next Doge! on: May 09, 2021, 09:20:44 AM
yes, that's what you say. But please note that Elon Musk is not a team and he is not a developer in Doge Coin. he was only interested in Doge so he invested a large amount and made the price of Dogecoin soar as it is today. Likewise with Aurora, if there is an investor like Elon Musk then maybe AOA will be like Dogecoin next.
There's not even any proof that elon himself invested to doge but instead he's just shilling it 24/7 and that's the exact reason why doge come this far, as elon himself are glorified by too much people nowadays. though I still doubt doge gonna have any subtitute and if any it's gonna be another meme coin which ofcourse become another pump and dump market. AOT itself i believe not gonna gets shilled by elon and not gonna become substitute for doge due to its proposed use case. Not to mention such billionaire like elon gonna refuse to shill for a coin where the devs hold quite the amount of total supply.
2496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto kings and queens: Who are they? on: May 09, 2021, 07:56:34 AM
What could I say other than they are truly deserving considering the balls of steel they got when they truly ambitious and faithful at the early time of cryptocurrency when everyone mock our coin as a mere toy now the world is turning upside down and cryptocurrency got the upperhand.
but tbh CZ is really smart when it comes to growing his business, considering it could grow so fast within short amount of time but I'd prefer person like vitalik where he really contributes into growing cryptocurrency by inventing blockchain for smart contracts, without him probably defi and dapps won't be around and if it did, won't be as popular as it's right now.
2497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto analyst who nailed ethereum's climb to $3,400 says $10,000 is next on: May 09, 2021, 06:31:26 AM
$10,000 not unrealistic prediction considering their smart contract blockchain has been quite revolutionising the whole crypto market more or less with the dapps, defi and all but the problem with ETH is probably the total supply, other than that I could see ethereum growing to be bigger and bigger in the future.

In my opinion, the main problem with Ethereum now is the high transaction fees, which are very different from the BNB fees that many people now use. I heard that there will be ethereum 2.0, if there is an improvement in terms of transaction fees, I am also sure that ethereum prices will go up more
yeah many people saying eip1559 gonna solve the problem as part of eth 2.0 implementation but whether that's gonna turns out to be true or not we don't really know not to mention many transactions coming back to eth again from bsc making the fee go enormously high again.
though I doubt the fee gonna be as cheap as it was back then before 2020.
2498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: in between the decision to hold or sell on: May 09, 2021, 04:48:57 AM
I would just tell him to think about it himself and make decision based on their own mind because honestly nothing good coming out of giving away financial advice. if thing doesn't go as planned you'll get blame and if thing go well you're not rewarded so why bother?
But i think you've done the right thing to let him make the final decision himself, though if the coin he's investing to can be considered shitcoin that has potential of rugpull or rather pump and dump market manipulation it's better to tell him to back off and sell the coin if they're not ready for the consequences.
2499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin be hijacked by world billionaires??? on: May 08, 2021, 10:30:31 AM
It will not be easy for the elite to be able to manipulate the market, unless the elite is compact in making communities with each other so that market price movements are very influential because they have been manipulated. although Bitcoin is the crypto with the largest trading volume, the role of a group of whales can certainly influence the market price
Even 1 billionaire could give significant effect to the market like the obvious example is elon musk and by far the strongest weapons to affect the market are fud and shill. Any capital you spend to manipulate crypto will definitely get outweighed by these fuds and shill that takes next to none capital of yours. Though a group of whales could definitely affect the market if they make planned movement at the same time making their sell off or buying looks massive and gives sense of doom to many people psychologically like making the market fear of dumping.
2500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Erc20 tokens send fee on: May 08, 2021, 09:43:11 AM
Indeed, at this time the ERC20 fee fee is very high, and in my opinion the shipping cost is high because too many transactions that occur on the etherem network cause tremendous congestion, we must be patient waiting for costs to go down and wait for the token price to rise higher, so that there is a balance  fundamentals between the token price and the shipping cost,
according to information there will indeed be a price review in July from ethereum, but is this just a rumor to dampen it, so that many can wait for the situation until the specified month. but it is undeniable that many project owners have made innovations so that high costs can be reduced by looking for other alternative platforms and bsc is one that has begun to be used.

However, it is not easy to change the habits that have occurred in the course of using the ethereum platform. but all also do not want to experience greater losses if no improvements are made.
It is true that you say high traffic makes costs unable to be reduced, but of course there are many ways that can be done to reduce these high costs.
July there gonna be london hardfork to address the fee calculation so it's not just a mere rumour as everything is already scheduled before hand same with berlin hard fork. Also, there's not so much the dev can do to address the gas problem except the upcoming solution in july because there are just many factors that affect the gas price many of them are price increase (yes it's biggest cause by far), traffic, dapps and many more. because if they do have solution they would've resolved the problem from a long time ago as many people demands.
