Nice setups! I stopped mining after switching to Time Warner Cable's internet service. I can't even log into my S3's or nothing anymore.

I'm finally deciding to sale my mining gear because electric rates have finally gotten too high to run anymore.
2 Antminer S3+'s with PSU $250
1 Antminer S7 Batch 9 with EVGA Supernova 1600 T2 PSU - $1250
PayPal or BTC. Escrow via ognasty is accepted for btc payment.

Antminers will take-over mining business it seems
That certainly does seem to be the case. Nobody else bothers to release new hardware besides Bitmain and Avalon.

While I've been a member here on bitcointalk and a miner for quite a long time now I just recently picked up Phil Champagne's "The Book of Satoshi." I have began reading this book but I have also read Nathaniel Popper's book "Digital Gold" which is really good.

Set the frequency at B9's default of 700 and I'm getting 4.8TH on my S7. Will be watching temps though.
|
|
|
Be sure to check the firmware version on your B9 units when you receive them. Mine actually is using a firmware from December 3rd 2015. The newest firmware is from December 11 2015. Not sure if they added anything or not but I'm updating mine right now.

That shelf/metal rack has been used by plenty of us miners... Almost too much popular around the forum. Either way I take it you have the exhaust going out a window? Or are you using the heat to heat up your house? Someone here's doing that with a few S7's. Pretty neat.

Have had my S7 hashing away since I got it setup yesterday here! My whole farm (though small) is hashing here.

Bumped the frequency to 600 overnight and got pretty good temperatures so I bumped it to 625 and while I'm not getting 4.7TH I'm getting anywhere from 4.2 to 4.4TH and temp wise the blades are at 68c, 64c and 60c. Fans are at 40%. Currently have the miner still in my bedroom in the closet which has dampened the noise quite a bit. I was able to sleep with the miner on last night.

|
Have my S7 running at the 600 setting for frequency. Watching temps while playing around with the different frequencies. 625 is the next test and then 700 which is B8/B9's default.

Have my S7 running Due to the amount of noise it makes I underclocked it's frequency to 400. Getting 3TH at that rate. Whenever I find a better place to keep it running I'll up the frequency a bit. There's no way that I'll be sleeping with it in my room.

Just got my S7 from UPS. Had to pay a $5 dollar service charge but that's nothing.

I'll finally get my S7 tomorrow and will be able to update you guys on if I have a customs charge from UPS or not. Hopefully the miner doesn't have any issues but seeing as plenty of you are having problems with dead boards or heatsinks falling off... I guess I should be expecting something.

Running my S3+'s still, one at Kano and the other mining solo as a lottery machine. Once my S7 gets here it'll probably be time to sell the S3's. The S7 will probably be the last miner I and plenty of others own since the difficulty will just be too high to make anything.

|
|
At this rate I am certainly going to underclock my S7 whenever it gets here which will be when UPS gets there shit together...

On Amazon you can find them but they're still cheaper to get through Bitmain directly. Update on my whole issue with UPS... Finally got a call and I'll be able to pick up my S7 tomorrow afternoon. To anyone that has a B8/B9 already what settings would you recommend for downclocking the miner?

UPS driver came by and wasn't able to find my S7... He told me that he may have to come by later. UPS gave me a scare a few years ago when they lost a guitar I build for a friend... I'll update as this goes along. If it was dropped off at a UPS store I guess they'd call or something?

My B9 S7 will be here today so now both of my S3+'s may be moved to mining solo as lottery machines. I'll post status of the miner when I get it running.

I use Nicehash as a backup pool only. Currently have both of my S3+'s at Kano's. I tried Slush's when I started mining quite a long time ago along with plenty of the other main pools you hear about.
