While I've been a member here on bitcointalk and a miner for quite a long time now I just recently picked up Phil Champagne's "The Book of Satoshi." I have began reading this book but I have also read Nathaniel Popper's book "Digital Gold" which is really good.

I don't know about must "reads" but I like to watch technical bitcoin videos on youtube and such. I just found a whole playlist on bitcoin by Stefan Molyneux that I am going to be watching next. I hope it is good. I expect it to be about the philosophy and bitcoin's effects on society more than technicals though.

In my case I am getting all the updates from coindesk and other blogs that post articles about bitcoin and crypto currency, they are always updated and they have a good insight on what's happening around the crypto currency industry, but would like to also read those books you mention..

Lots of interesting videos on You Tube: Andreas Antonopoulos is an interesting speaker. As another poster mentioned... Stefan Molyneux (yes he will sometimes come across as [justifiably] angry) ;-) Jeffrey Tucker is an interesting character. And you will be able to view many other conventions and panels including everything from a couple days at the M.I.T. expo; to the New York committee (Loooong). Many talks from the core devs. https://letstalkbitcoin.comGood conversations buried on reddit. Coindesk I glance almost daily

I'm not really into reading complicated stuffs, but to my curiosity, what does those bitcoin books published talk about? Is it more like techical and the system of bitcoin (e.g. how to mine, how to trade, and not-really-common knowledge about something), or is it rather about the history and the algorithm of bitcoin (which.... Will stun my brain right away)?

Most of them here said not interested in reading books or some relating stuffs. So better if someone tries to make it as a project converting those information explained in those books as a documentary or Some short time video. It would benefit both the video developer as well as the users

Andreas Antonopoulos wrote a book : http://www.amazon.com/Mastering-Bitcoin-Unlocking-Digital-Cryptocurrencies/dp/1449374042 if you would be interested in reading that. In his own words, most books on Bitcoin are outdated by the time it is published, so I would prefer to stay with the reading material you get online, for example Blogs, news articles, technical developers notes.

It's impressive how many people get on board of bitcoin without even taking a look at this! It's simple, it's beautiful, it's revolution!

the most important think you need to read is "how to secure your wallet" , this is an article tho, so you don't need to pay any cents, but really helpful compared to another article even books

This is actually what I tried to say when I ask about the main idea of the published books, how better would I be informed by reading those book? I mean, will I get significantly better information than if I just follow people's posts on these forum and/or searching online answers for random bitcoin-related questions that sparked into my mind?

I'd say that it would be better to read some tings here on the forum than some books. You'll learn more.
