1  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Blockchain in business on: May 06, 2018, 02:35:46 PM
I don't understand how blockchain could be applied into business. Anyone has a real life example of the advantage of a smart contract?
Blockchain technically can be applied into every business which wants transparency in their operations. For real life instances, you can take ripple into consideration along with a few other coins set to change the way banking works. If you're looking for something where blockchain is being implemented and a business is actively using it,you need to wait a couple of more years maybe.

I don't think Ripple is a good example in this case where we are talking about the blockchain's Transparency and immutability.  Please check the Ripple architecture and xCurrent's solution which is the Ripple’s star solution for banks.
To my view the transactions are Centralized and reversible.
Hope some blockchain Gurus over here can explain better...

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] GRAFT - Universal Payment Processing Network on: February 14, 2018, 03:10:18 AM
The objectives of GRAFT are great, but the points raised above are really serious and the Development team needs to come up with more information on how they want to bridge the transacction links between GRAFT and FIAT at very low fees as they promised to do. I read that there will be incentives for merchants but that is contradictory as merchants will alway go with operations that offer them more money for their services...
I respect this project and the good interest behind, but will appreciate if they can drive home their points and clarify this aspect of the project.
4  Local / Hardware y Minería / Re: Donde comprar antminer S9 España on: February 07, 2018, 02:48:06 PM

Good day. Is the project open source? I'd love to take a look at it and maybe contribute myself. Any link, please, prefer Github.

7  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Bitmain Antminer S3 Setup [HD] on: January 28, 2018, 03:06:18 PM
I just bought a used S3 antminer to learn mining. The box got to me with a broken part. But the seller told me it does not matter that it will still work fine. So I started the S3 and it really worked, but only mined for the previous owner. After changing the miner configuration to my own data the miner stopped mining.
I have read alots of suggestion in the forum but could not fix the miner to work for me, but I AM STILL LOST... NO SOLUTION...
Can this be a problem from the broken part during the shipment? There is a small cylinder-like object, see picture below, SORRY FOR MY LAYMAN EXPLANATION
What is the use of this part and can the S3 work without the part?

here is the system log file: any useful hint here on what is happening with my S3.

Problem solved...
I flashed the firmware and reset the Miner.
It started mining after rebooting and think the problem is setup data corrupted some where.
however I am still not sure the effect of the broken condenser??  on the whole troubles.
If anyone know what that pieces does on the S3, I will appreciate advices and suggestions.
I mean the broken part in this board's picture
Thanks

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Create new coin, buy already existing one or neither is a good option on: January 20, 2018, 07:08:30 AM
I want to migrate my company payments to cryto currency. I think of creating one for my company or just buying an already existing one (got an offer from a friend).
What is the best option create mine or buy?
We move about 100k monthly in international sales. Not really interested in the trading aspect of the coin but may consider it after consolidating the main objective.
Main objective is to facilitate instant payment while buying or selling our services and products.
All suggestion and idea are welcome.

You said infinite chain size is not an issue and you are also of the opinion that limiting the size had no effect. I think you already answered your question... He added a neutral protocol that is not imprescindible but useful
11  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to find investors for generous faucet? on: January 03, 2018, 09:06:49 AM
It is a investment, if you could balance what comes in with what goes out and a small percentage for yourself you should do fine, you could also go Initial Coin Offering if you have worked out a formula.

freebitco, went from faucet to gambling site because it payed better.
Initial Coin Offering is a better option to my mind

14  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Should I sell all BCH for BTC because of the upcoming hardfork? on: December 27, 2017, 10:11:24 AM
It seems kinda pointless to have BCH or BCC or whatever the name is of this fricken coin. Think I should just convert it all to BTC so I can get the forked coins. It seems like all the major exchanges are supporting it. Alts are all falling like crazy. Then there is another forked coin coming. I think McAfee was right. BTC is the God of all cryptos.

This is just starting, long way to go... Here there wont be a God but gods...

Just had a look at you site and saw a dedicated VPS server:
Super Fast SSD Linux VPS...

Is that available our not allowed for mining because of stress and the abuse of the resources?

Thanks

Coinbase comision is just to high, maybe my case is exceptional... Shocked Shocked Shocked
I deposit with Bank Card, 100€ to pass it to a trading platform and inbetween I lost about 40€ to comision... only 64€ worth of BTC reached my trading account. And it was the period of BTC appreciation, not this devaluation period...

I am not sure is  you comment "Note: No Mining allowed!" refers to all your package or some of them.
Do you have any plan that allow mining?
Best regards
