82  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Silk Road Operator Ross Ulbricht to Be Sentenced Today on: June 03, 2015, 12:32:48 AM
Wow, this is exactly what's usually wrong with the American justice system. Rich white kids usually get off whilst poor black people get thrown in jail for relatively minor crimes. Should white guys be given get out of jail free cards now?

OK. Got it. According to your logic, Ross Ullbricht should be punished, since he happened to have white skin and blue eyes. There are very few whites imprisoned right now (it doesn't matter that they make up 50% of the prison population). So we need to jail more Whites, in order to maintain the "racial equilibrium".  Grin

No, amazon4u is making an argument that people like Ross should are more likely to be rehabilated or be more useful to society which is bullshit. If he was such a smart and educated guy he wouldn't have got caught or made a load of silly mistakes, not to mention trying to have people assassinated. Most drug dealers don't even go that far but he did.

P.S - Where does Jay Z fit in all this ? This is not about race ...it is about what an individual can give back to humanity....

Because he was a drug dealer from Brooklyn, you know, the ones you think aren't ever going to make anything of their life.

If he was such a smart and educated guy he wouldn't have got caught or made a load of silly mistakes

This is how you assess how "smart and educated" is a person ? Smiley By not getting caught...

Because he was a drug dealer from Brooklyn, you know, the ones you think aren't ever going to make anything of their life.

I don't say that, statistics and real life scenarios tend to say that. A drug dealer from Brooklyn/etc has little chances of a normal life in the long run partly because he is not educated and doesn't understand that he is being used Smiley Stats don't lie, there is little you can achieve in life without a proper education.
83  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Silk Road Operator Ross Ulbricht to Be Sentenced Today on: June 02, 2015, 01:30:56 AM
where was the "race" mentioned in my response...you obviously have some race issues that affect your judgement...my question is this, again :

who is more useful to society ? an illiterate guy or an educated guy ? who deserves a second chance ? you will find that the illiterate guy who pleads guilty to all charges gets the second chance..this is not how the judiciary system should work, rehabilitation should be possible  for the ones that are capable of seizing that chance not for the ones who relapse on 99.9%

P.S - Where does Jay Z fit in all this ? This is not about race ...it is about what an individual can give back to humanity....
84  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Syria crisis: 'Barrel bomb strikes kill 72' in Aleppo province on: May 31, 2015, 10:49:58 PM
The use of barrel bombs is just barbaric and inhuman.
there is a reason while modern splitter bombs are ostracized.

when were beheadings considered humane ? A few dozen years ago we would've never had this conversation : humane killing vs inhumane killing ...it was just winners and losers...there isn't anything humane in wars, so I don't see any point in discussing killing methods...

Isis is a bigger threat than Assad for all of us so I for one don't give a damn how they get killed...Assad is a much better pet than Isis in my opinion, one that can be controlled...they could skin them/Isis alive for all I care
85  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ? on: May 31, 2015, 10:19:03 PM
I ask BADecker one thing, prove to me that your christian God exists, logically. I'm not looking for the elementary, downright retarded, regular bullshit answers you give about "faith" and such, I want proof. I also don't want any history, science, or personal experience to be your so called "proof".

Go ahead.

How many times haven't I pointed you towards the stuff written here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=737322.msg10718395#msg10718395.

Don't go look at the stuff in the link. It is a waste of time for you. As long as you are unwilling to look with even the idea that it might be true, it is useless for you to look.

Rather, continue on in your self-blinding ways.

Smiley

So you admit you cannot prove God exists logically,
I admit that the evidences that show the existence of God will not be sufficient proof for everyone.

Quote
so then you believe in god out of blind faith...nice...
No, it isn't blind faith. For example, how many times hasn't something like this happened:

The house was built. The wooden steps leading from the walk to the porch were completed. The carpenter did his job well.

For 20 years the wooden steps remained solid, or so thought the homeowner. He used those steps virtually every day. His experience with the steps led him to believe the steps were strong. He had the evidence of 20 years in which to place his faith. Then one time, he stepped on the steps, and they fell through, and he broke his leg.

We have the evidence based on experience. We have the faith, because obviously he didn't know the reality of the situation. To the appearances of some people, the faith would have been well placed. Others who were more sensitive or better thinkers or more experienced would have said that the steps should be checked for rot.

No proof. No blind faith. Reasonable evidence. Evidence interpreted differently. Way down deep, hope that the evidence was correct. Possibly lack of consideration of the possibilities.

Quote
There we go, now all can see.
Yes. Now we can see how silly your points are. You want your freedom so badly, that you are willing to mix things up enough that you can still have logic, but without looking at the possibilities, and sufficiently considering the evidence.

We human beings aren't built for that kind of freedom. If we were, we would have the ability to jump to the moon unaided, without any rockets, using simply our own legs. There are multitudes of ways that we don't have freedom. Your logic is weakening your freedom rather than strengthening it.

Quote
BTW, the things in your link are all irrelevant and wildly untrue, they're all subjective opinions of yours,,
There are many other people who would and do suggest the opposite. Most of them don't post in this forum, because they are too busy living life to its fullest and doing important things, to sit here and explain your childishness to you.

Quote
stop spamming that bullshit.

You haven't offered me any compensation for following your orders. Rather, you would seem to enslave me by taking away my freedom to post as I wish. Are you a mod? Come on, man. At least suggest an amount. I only accept bitcoins. Let me know how much you'll send, and if it is enough, I'll send you my Bitcoin address, and then I'll reword it so that even you won't think that it is bullshit.

 Wink

You're wrong on everything...again.

"For 20 years the wooden steps remained solid, or so thought the homeowner. He used those steps virtually every day. His experience with the steps led him to believe the steps were strong. He had the evidence of 20 years in which to place his faith. Then one time, he stepped on the steps, and they fell through, and he broke his leg."

Your analogy is actually hurting your own cause and shows that your definition of "faith" leads to hurt. That man believed that his steps would support him, somewhat indefinitely, then one day it broke, showing that his faith in the stairs was a false one. Looking for other possibilities is looking for evidences that the stairs might one day collapse and need repair, that man did not such thing, and could have avoided hurt if he used evidence instead of blind faith, which he did.

So thanks, you yourself just admitted that you're wrong. I truly can't believe you're this stupid...

My analogy of faith enforces my case, because, when you apply it to both theism and atheism, it is atheism that collapses much easier. And probably theism won't collapse at all.

While I don't want you to get hurt when your atheism collapses, if you insist...

Well, I won't add insult to injury by coming back and saying "I told you so."

Smiley

You make absolutely no sense. K...

You make complete sense. You are either a troll, or you are a child that is good at playing with the English language even though you make no sense using it.

Smiley

You yourself made a analogy upon which showed that having blind faith is illogical instead of using evidence, proving me right and you wrong. You're an idiot kid....

Since the evidence for the existence of God is way stronger than the evidence against His existence, any "blind" faith that that exists will be much blinder regarding God not existing.

Smiley

There is no evidence except logical or mathematical. Nothing you've posted is evidence, it's simply your opinion(and it's all very wrong). Just stop.

Now don't go off and suicide yourself just because you can't stand being wrong anymore. Rather, turn to God. He is merciful and loving. He'll be happy to have you join with him.

 Lips sealed

Sure, go join with him...make some donations to the church...God doesn't want you dead he wants you as a contributor, he loves you... he's almighty , all-knowing  but somehow he can't handle money....He always needs money...
86  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Silk Road Operator Ross Ulbricht to Be Sentenced Today on: May 31, 2015, 10:05:22 PM
His attempted murder charge remains wholly relevant.

Relevant to your tangent about how people may view him. Not relevant to the rest of the thread about his sentencing.

Imagine this : an illiterate druglord from Harlem/Brooklyn pleads guilty and gets 20-30 years in prison and an educated guy who tries to fight the system (even though he was guilty in my opinion) gets life in prison without the possibility of parole...

who is more useful to society ?

the illiterate/retarded/ drug dealer from Harlem who in 20 years would be just as retarded as before with slim chances of rehabilitation, or an educated guy who in 20 years from now might have something to give back to society : such as advices to young men following in his footsteps...he could lead some really interesting seminaries and help a lot of people along the way to learn from his mistakes but as it turns out he will never have a second chance

The prison system in the US is just wrong...locking people up is not the solution, re-educating them should be a main priority....life in prison for Ross is unfair to say the least...the 20 years prison sentence would've been more appropriate but the US judiciary system has no interest in rehabilitation...

I don't think the NSA would want to kill any banks/sponsors...The NSA will be the first to have one since their resources are endless....so the NSA will destroy what they think it's fair to do so...bitcoin included
88  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do islam hates people? on: May 31, 2015, 09:31:08 PM
No, your link is not proof there are non_muslims in the ISIS groups.  There is no mention of the religion of the man in that story that I saw.

There have been some claims that a few Western nationals of Christian background have traveled to Syria, to fight with ISIS. But the evidence indicates that they converted to Islam, to become acceptable to the ISIS. Also, there are a few people who converted to Islam in the prisons, fighting with ISIS right now.

After Germany invaded Poland, and later France, countless of the male population of those countries were forced to fight on the German uniform.

So you are telling they were forced to fight with ISI? Undecided

Lol, this thread still lives...did any of you Muslims eat some pork while I was away ? Smiley

Your bank doesn't allow you to spend your money?!

Have made a complaint with the proper authorities?

How about changing bank?

I am in the business of digital gift code selling and I try to make a large order last week by wire transfer and got refused.... that is why I am in this whole mess.....
I think they were worried that the transaction was potentially fraudulent....  that is why it really worries me right now whether or not I can make a $20,000+ wire transfer to fund a bitcoin account.

I made an account in Bit-X, the ID verification will take a up to a few days and afterwards I hope to try the wire transfer... but time is short and I hope to keep a lot of options open.

Complaint and changing bank......I don't have time for that kind of stuff.....

localbitcoins.com is the fastest, bitstamp.net is the cheapest...bitstamp has no limits , after you verify your account of course...

did anyone tried cex.io ?

92  Economy / Gambling / Re: Real Madrid was Lost, The Curse Never Die on: May 16, 2015, 11:51:20 AM
i still can't believe why madrid failed to winning champions league title this season. with galacticos team and best coach, how can they lost against juventus. but wait, i just realized, is the curse work again at this season? yeah we have known there is an absolute curse, which the last season winning team can't be a champion again for next season. this happening from 1992/1993 season until now. yeah this season victim is real madrid. as a gambler, do you believe in this curse?

Madrid have a best coach of course not, i think allergi is genius. And ancelloti why he change benzema after first half. Its a big fault

This "best coach" from Real Madrid sold the top assisters (Ozil and Di Maria) of the team , two years in the row..what did you expect ?

Who was the elected the best player of the CL final last year ?

It wasn't Ramos ( the goal scorer) or the underwear model (Ronaldo)...it was Di Maria....they missed Di Maria a lot in all the big games this year against Barca, Atletico or Juve...you can thank the "best coach" Ancelloti for that

for ozil i think you're right and for angel di maria i didn't agree. madrid have problem on forward on position right winger

Di Maria was a player who played very well as a winger and as a midfielder last year...Di Maria started as a winger at Real Madrid (under Mourinho) and finished as a midfielder when Bale was bought from Tottenham...he played very well on both position, which is very rare in the football world...to have a player who is a world class midfielder and an attacking winger at the same time is very unlikely ...he was the top assister last year for Real Madrid and the guy who was voted the best player of CL final....this says it all...now this year the top assister is Cristiano Ronaldo, which is very strange...Cr7 should be the top scorer not both....they need somebody who gives 20+ assists per season, this is Real Madrid's problem...

Also alonso leaving was a blow but seeing him play the other night perhaps he has lost his legs a bit now anyway.  Ozil was also class @ real madrid and hasn't been quite the same @ arsenal however he gets a hard time with huge expectation and hes not the type of player to have big spectatular performances.

Alonso was old, it was a good thing to have him traded for Kroos....Alonso will retire in 2 years max, while Kroos will play for 7 years at least at maximum capacity...Ozil and Di Maria sales were huge mistakes...What coach sells the top assisters of the team two years in the row ? First Ozil, than Di Maria...That's suicide for any team...They were very lucky to turn the tide of the CL final last year in the 93 minute, that's his only performance at Real Madrid : Carlo is very lucky, that's his biggest asset....but his luck has run out so I think Carlo should pack his bags, or have Perez show him the door...Klopp from Dortmund would be  a very wise option to replace him

Come next year ronaldo could be starting to edge past his best and bale might leave, this could be a very bad spell for madrid for next few years unless they buy a ton of top players but all the best ones seems taken & happy atm.

CR7 is getting old indeed and Bale is not the player who will score Real Madrid 50+ goals per season....replacing Cr7 will be hard because at the moment, there are only 2 players in the world scoring 50+ goals per year ..one of them is Cr7 and the other one will never leave Barca...the future doesn't look bright for Real Madrid, but they have money....which is important....because money can buy you stuff ( Hazard, Lewandowski, etc) ...

I'm glad Juventus won to be honest.
It shows that good tactics & hard work can overcome the massive wealth of Real Madrid.
Real are too many individuals & not enough grit, hard work & determination.
Ronaldo is a great player but a spoilt, selfish player.
He is not a team player.
Juventus midfield of Pirlo, Pogba & Vidal cost something like 12 million euro.
Bale & Ronaldo cost about 200 million euro.
A victory for Juventus is a victory for the little guys.
Never give up.

Pogba alone is at least 70 million my friend...Vidal is 30 millions at least...I dunno from where you got those numbers (12 million)

I think allegri just lucked with his defense tactic. that's didn't prove he was genius. roberto di matteo gave chelsea the UCL title with defensive style, but i thaught he was not a genius man, and he failed on next season. genius coach is a coach who can break the defense wall doesn't matter how strong the wall is. Wink

Real madrid has done a horrible season this year,no titles and not very good stats,Barcelona has dominated this year, maybe next year is the good one for Real Madrid

i hope that too, but in this final i bet on juventus  Grin

you're right , if Chelsea did it , than Juve can do it also...but I wouldn't bet big on Juve...they had lots of luck against Real Madrid (especially when James hit the post in Italy from 3 meters or Bale who fucked up big time with that header on the Bernabeu)...they will need lots of luck against Barca as well...MSN is on fire this year but sometimes the universe just conspires against you or for you....Greece - European champions, Chelsea - CL winners a few years ago etc

Completely ruined my weekend.
I told these criminals to return control over MY FUNDS to me within a couple of hours. No reaction, so I will proceed against them in every legal way available to me now. Watch me.

Calm down, you aren't going to do shit.  First, you obv didn't do your due diligence.  Second, BTC-E does all sorts of fuckery to try and help prevent phishers and what not from stealing your shit.  Third, good fkn luck finding anything about them for your legal proceedings.

Wait the three days and then move on.  Perhaps this time use an exchange that isn't some Bulgarian/Russian exchange that all of the criminals use.
