i still can't believe why madrid failed to winning champions league title this season. with galacticos team and best coach, how can they lost against juventus. but wait, i just realized, is the curse work again at this season? yeah we have known there is an absolute curse, which the last season winning team can't be a champion again for next season. this happening from 1992/1993 season until now. yeah this season victim is real madrid. as a gambler, do you believe in this curse?

I think allegri just lucked with his defense tactic. that's didn't prove he was genius. roberto di matteo gave chelsea the UCL title with defensive style, but i thaught he was not a genius man, and he failed on next season. genius coach is a coach who can break the defense wall doesn't matter how strong the wall is.

It is useless if a coach can break his opponent's defense wall but he can't lead his team to win the match and go further in the tournament/league. 
So I think a genius coach is not only a coach who can break his opponent's defense wall, but a coach who can make a good strategy to win the match (both  attack and defense) and of course luck is also an important thing.

It is useless if a coach can break his opponent's defense wall but he can't lead his team to win the match and go further in the tournament/league. 
So I think a genius coach is not only a coach who can break his opponent's defense wall, but a coach who can make a good strategy to win the match (both  attack and defense) and of course luck is also an important thing.

agree with you, if a coach just depend on attacking tactic, his team will be risky because the opponent team can do counter attack. i admit luis enrique is a genius coach for this season, even i am a madridista.

I'm glad Juventus won to be honest.
It shows that good tactics & hard work can overcome the massive wealth of Real Madrid.
Real are too many individuals & not enough grit, hard work & determination.
Ronaldo is a great player but a spoilt, selfish player.
He is not a team player.
Juventus midfield of Pirlo, Pogba & Vidal cost something like 12 million euro.
Bale & Ronaldo cost about 200 million euro.
A victory for Juventus is a victory for the little guys.

No curse guys but you Real and whoever lost was just unlucky I decided to bet on them   Yes if there is any kind of curse I am the one to blame, it seems whoever I bet on they lose lol Of course that is not something I really believe though.

Juventus was a solid team and played their game the way they needed to and took a win for their effort so my hat is off to the even if I did lose $25 (big spender)   The test is going to come in the final just can't see them beating Barca but I will take a look at the odds see if it is worth betting the underdog, give you who bet Barca more of a chance.

OP again no curse mate if anything more chance of rigged but that is another thread.

They can beat barca, they will just park the bus and try to snatch a goal from a corner/free kick.  Possession with be like 75% barca but we've seen it before where they just cant score if a team defends excellently.

This is right it seems the spanish 'teams' are quality attackers, where all the time I have followed Serie A, most if not all the Italian 'teams' are super super good at their tatical defence and have been for years and years.

With you that if they score Barcelona are in big trouble because they will likely score again if Barca push to hard to equalize. Am super excited for this game one of the best finals since bayern munich and man united all them years ago when they got them last minute goals.

Dont think Costa has ever got going for spain tbh, the coach was very loyal to torres and villa.  Rightly so for david villa though who is their best forward in many years.  Costa was terrible in the world cup but so were spain.

Its really hard to carry the same kind of form or doing better for two years straight. This year, Madrid never looked very comfortable in the CL after the group stages anyways.!

you're right , if Chelsea did it , than Juve can do it also...but I wouldn't bet big on Juve...they had lots of luck against Real Madrid (especially when James hit the post in Italy from 3 meters or Bale who fucked up big time with that header on the Bernabeu)...they will need lots of luck against Barca as well...MSN is on fire this year but sometimes the universe just conspires against you or for you....Greece - European champions, Chelsea - CL winners a few years ago etc
