Hi All, OP here. Your replies made me aware of the TXID. I didn't know about it cuz I'm a newbie! I did some googling and was able to use the TXID to confirm the transactions were confirmed. Thanks! Issue resolved. How do I mark this thread as SOLVED?

A few hours ago I transferred a small amount of btc from my Jaxx Liberty wallet (source) to my Exodus wallet (target). The Jaxx wallet still says 'pending' but the funds arrived in my Exodus wallet only a few minutes after I sent them. Can I assume the funds are safely in my Exodus wallet? Any way to check that the funds are safely in my Exodus wallet?
Let me know if you need any other details. Thx.

Ahh yes, I remember reading a little about replay attacks. That makes sense. Thanks.

Hello HCP,
Worked great. I installed the ElectronCash wallet and then imported my old Electrum BTC wallet. Then my old BTC transaction history appeared in ElectronCash wallet. Nice.
For some reason, the ElectronCash wallet was smart enough to not import any transaction history after the fork. (After the fork I transferred all my BTC out of Electrum to another wallet.)
Now the ElectronCash wallet shows my correct balance before the fork. Cool. I was worried that wouldn't happen.
Thanks,

At the time of the Bitcoin Cash fork (Aug 1st, 2017, if I remember correctly) I had all my BTC stored in my Electrum wallet on my Windows laptop. In Oct 2017 I moved all my BTC from Electrum to another wallet on my laptop.
Now I'm want to claim my Bitcoin Cash (BCH).
So I exported all my private keys from my Electrum wallet. I'm mostly a newbie, so I'm thinking that one or more of those Electrum private keys correspond to the BTC I had in my Electrum wallet at the time of the fork.
* How do I determine which of the Electrum private key(s) correspond to the BTC I had in my Electrum wallet at the time of the fork? * Or, am I on the wrong track and is there some other process for me to claim my BCH?
Thanks,

Hi All,
I'm a non-technical person. My understanding is that I don't need to put my BTC onto Coinbase or some other exchange in order to get my B2X. Is that true?
My understanding is that if I decide not to put my BTC onto Coinbase, then after the Nov 16 Segwit fork, I can somehow use my BTC private keys to get my share of B2X. Is this true? If it is, how difficult will it be for a non-techie like me to use my BTC private keys to get my share of B2X after the fork?
Any websites giving details about how I can use my BTC private keys to get my B2X after the fork?
Any support on this most appreciated.

Success. I imported my Koinify seed into the Enterprise wallet and the correct number of factoids appeared. Very happy to see that. Hello Mimir! Thank you a million times! Yay! I installed the Factom Enterprise wallet and saw the option to import my Koinify seed. This is just what I was looking for. Thanks!!!! Hi All, I purchased some Factoms at their ICO. Now I'm ready to trade them. All I have is my Factom seed phrase (about 12 random words). Is there a Factom wallet? If yes, which one should I use? I use Windows 10. Is this the only Factom wallet available? https://docs.factom.com/#enterprise-walletThanks, Download enterprise wallet from their github page, click on import address, there's a few different options, coinify 12 words is one of them

Yes, I also installed the Exodus Eden wallet. And I see the option to import the seed. But it's not clear if I put in my Koinify seed that it will recover my original factoid balance. The Enterprise wallet specifically can import the Koinify seed (which I think is the seed I got at the Factom ICO). Do you know if I import Koinify seed into the Exodus Eden wallet that I'll then see my factoid balance? Thanks, BTW, Exdous Eden has added Factom to their wallet. So, this is another option to store your FCTs safely.

Hello mjglqw and odolvlobo,
Thanks for the info. Now I'm properly oriented. I'm starting the process to make my first trade.
Reply to morenomunozdelanava: I personally never keep my coins on any exchange for longer than needed. Too risky IMHO. For me, paying the various fees are much better than losing all my coins. Exchanges are built on very complex, vulnerable software stacks run by fallible humans. They will get hacked, just a matter of when.
Cheers,

Hi All,
I'm a semi-newbie. I've got some various altcoins and I want to make my first trade on Poloniex. I've got a Poloniex account.
My trade is very simple. I want to deposit some of my altcoin aaa into Poloniex and trade it for altcoin bbb. Then I plan to transfer bbb to another site where I can convert bbb into fiat. Pretty simple.
Do I need to set up a Stop-Loss for this trade on Poloniex?
Thanks,
PS: My iron-clad rule is to absolutely minimize the time that I'm not controlling the private keys to my altcoins. So I never keep my altcoins on exchanges longer than needed.

Here's my newbie q's: You're saying anyone (even a newbie like me) can lock a whole topic? I thought only mods or the OP could do that. Thanks in advance for helping me learn about this.

Hi, I just purchased some antshares for 0.654 BTC at the antshares ICO. How can I find out how many antshares I purchased? Or will that info be available later? Thanks,

I'm looking at this forum or thread or whatever you call it. I'm logged in but I don't see any "new topic" button for this thread/forum. Why is that? How can I post on this thread/forum? Thanks,
