81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][YAC] YACoin ongoing development on: August 02, 2014, 05:29:11 PM
Maybe to help miner profitability we could pay transaction fees instead of destroying them.

I really hope we get a price rise soon though. I keep telling people to buy as much YAC as they can because I think it's going up. I really hope i'm right.

Profitability of almost all the coins is very poor at the moment. I can remember a time when my mining rig earned more than I did.

Hey guys,

Just been reading your comments. Obviously there are interesting to me as I am a large holder of Yacoin.
I do have a question though. Sorry if I have gone off topic.

Does YAC support multisig?

I ask because I want to try to get it listed on some decentralised exchanges and markets.

You are not gonna takeover the place from XLB on the exchanges....

At this rate XLB is going to be de-listed if we don't act. We want XLB to stay on exchanges and the new coin to be added. We do not want XLB removed.

I like the idea but I doubt if it's easy to get the coin listed. For an exhange it's just another coin that needs to go true the process.
For us the coin will have emotional value, not for an exchange. An exchange has only interest in a coin that has trading volume.

Yes, it will have a lot of trading volume. Do you think we would get that far and just produce a flop? Right now just by raising this concept I have increased the potential value of XLB. Before this buying XLB was only speculation on the future value of XLB now it is that plus a bet that it becomes an IPO for a new coin that uses the CLAMCoin method to distribute coins to XLB holders.

So the coin may never happen and the bet goes sour or it does and the bet pays off very handsomely.

The simple mechanism of increasing PoS% each time N factor increases will make it very attractive to investors. Why would you not want to buy a coin in which the return keeps going up? and unless you really need the money right now (or want to trick the market into dumping it for you so you can get more) why would you want to sell it?

When N factor is 1 PoS is 1%. When N factor is 5 PoS is 5% and so on. Look at how excited people are going to get about each N factor increase. It means increased return on their money. Bitches love money.

I'm generally feeling quite happy right now thanks to 5-HTP. Why not a bit of optimism too?

I can help with this but we will need other devs too. Who else is willing to assist?

Should be win/win because the XLB price will increase as people will realise they will get another coin but still get to keep their XLB. This is better deal then ones where people have to exchange their XLB.

Should be easy to get this coin listed on exchanges based on the existing availability of the current coin.

Then if Templar77 wants to keep developing XLB wallets he can and people will still have their coins.

OK if the dev does not return lets consider something like this.

We make a new coin and use the CLAM distribution method to deliver these new coins to Libertycoin holders on a 1:1 basis.

The new coin is PoW/PoS coin with increasing N factor. N is also the percentage PoS interest. Everytime N factor increases so does PoS reward. Eventually N factor is so high that no CPU has access to enough system RAM to compute a single hash. Once that happens the coin is pure PoS again.

Well because I have a full-time job I don't get to sit on the forums all day an work out what the fuck is going on.

To me it looks like a big mess and I'm not even really sure who is who around here anymore. I started back in this place about 2010. I was here when the very first ever alt coins launched. There were many coins that got talked down by trolls that actually turned out to be very lucrative (e.g. ppcoin). Some people even got very shitty when name coin was released as they thought it was a threat to bitcoin.

Of course other times people have been right (for instance Asiacoin) but it was hard to tell if they were giving a genuine warning or if they were just trolls embroiled in coin wars.

I don't know why the coin has dropped such and if it's the fault of the current development team or if it is a campaign by trolls to try to destroy the coin.

Right now there is no point in me selling them because I will get very little for my coins. At the same time there is very little point in me buying more as I already have a lot of these coins.

I am mainly interested in waiting for the next wallet and using that to PoS mine Libertycoin. I am hoping for a higher percentage PoS rate and perhaps we can have a slightly higher percentage with each new wallet release.

So the price is now 0.00000110. Good buy in time or is the fat lady singing?

It is possible to tell if you have clams just by putting the public address in the block chain explorer?

93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [GIVEAWAY/POLL] What is your perception of Libertycoin? on: June 16, 2014, 01:43:34 PM
The price is really cheap right now and this coin is a good solid coin with no pre-mine. Well designed and very professional as is the website. Is listed on several major exchanges known to be frequented by whales such as Poly, Bittrex and Mintpal. Easy to call this one as the next one to rise.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Tenebrix, a CPU-friendly, GPU-hostile cryptocurrency on: June 16, 2014, 10:02:25 AM
Would be wonderful. I have 80K TBX around somewhere. hehe
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [GIVEAWAY/POLL] What is your perception of Libertycoin? on: June 15, 2014, 09:52:43 AM
ah no worries... at this rate will be much faster for me to buy but I will keep my miner running anyway so at least I can get more coins while I am at work or asleep etc
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [GIVEAWAY/POLL] What is your perception of Libertycoin? on: June 15, 2014, 08:18:20 AM
Cheers. Out of interest how many XLB would you generally get per million confirmed shares?
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [GIVEAWAY/POLL] What is your perception of Libertycoin? on: June 15, 2014, 04:50:44 AM
Has anyone actually received coins from this?

It says: Next payouts June-15 20-4 CET.

So I guess we will find out then.

Hey Libertycoin,

Sorry if I am posting this in the wrong place. If you can't answer me here please direct me to the right place. I started mining XLB in the multipool today and want to know where to check my stats.
*edit: found it on http://multipoolmining.com/ "my stats"

I am very excited about liberty coin and hope to buy and mine enough to put me in the top 20 in the rich list.

I am mining at: http://xlb.multipoolmining.com/

If I like my experience with the pool I will point more miners at it and recommend it to others.

How about you make a coin to honor our prime minister Tony Abbott?
