For Pascal SGMINER now faster then CUDA!!! OMG.... OpenCL is faster for Nvidia... GTX 1080 1.25GH...

the initial miner of volksheit didnt split the shares across the gpu. ever gpu got same units and the proxy just avoid duplicated to prevent ban. this is what i understood and see fromdebug logs of the miner.he also mention like that.
Yes it is broken in many ways: nonce ranges, kernel launch parameters, etc. I may have fixed all that but I have not enough power to mine a block and, thus, test it fully. Good work. Can you please share you miner. I don't know how many gpus you have I have currently 12 GPUs running..most of them 1080 :-D Solo is dead... All blocks is own by nanopool...

Sorry guys but this thread is too big for me to follow. I modified the pascal cuda miner and optimized it, now it's doing 900 Mh/s on a 1070 consuming just 100W. Is it good? Worth working on it, now that there are pools?
Yes please can you do it for the pool there is no pool for nvidia yet, and we can't mine solo anymore hashnet is too big, this just turned into amdcoin instead of pascal and this is ironic No, Vegacoin, not Pascal...

Edit: Using now different compiled verson of the CUDA Pascal miner and getting on GTx1080 around 1000MH/s on my Zotacs and 865MH/s on Asus Strix and 765MH on Zotac GTX1070 Mini.
Could you point me into the direction of that miner please? im not sure if its the same version, but i tested klausT's version (from github) and my 1070s hash with ~700mh/s I assume you're talking about cryptonight. We're talking about Pascalcoin. Sp_, this single file is the miner (it compiles and runs alone): https://github.com/Vorksholk/PascalCoin-CUDA/blob/master/kernel.cuso this should be optimized. This - https://github.com/KlausT/PascalCoin-CUDA/releases

Be careful with this miner release, In my experience it taking a lot of virtual memory and sometimes returning error and mining stopping. But my miner compiled with cuda 8 Cuda 7.5 is faster.

yes gost anyway download link for the alexis miner v1?
I have compiled version. PM me.

ive got a gtx1070 that mines fine for about 4-6hrs, then dissapears from the system until reboot
ive reduced the clocks, switched risers, and still no change
Try nvidiaInspector -restartDisplayDriver. Clocks on default. This problem in PSU or in videocard...

There will be another update with 1-2% speed increase. Then we will work on to prepare public source release. We will put solver cuda_djezo into existing nheqminer: https://github.com/nicehash/nheqminer and bump the version up to 0.5. We made this decision, because nheqminer is widely popular (200 times forked) and will serve good as a base for this new solver (with possibility of other solvers being added in near future - something faster for AMD perhaps?). Respect!

1080 no speedup. My 1080 reports 535 SOL/sec Overclock and what settings?
|
|
|
Using so many threads will only reduce performance. Max to use is 2, do not use more, it only has negative effects.
2 threads give me 445 sols.

We have another speedup ready, mostly beneficial to GDDR5X cards (Titan X Pascal will go over 600 for sure). Stock GTX 1070 gets 390 Sol/s.
We have decided to release source of miner and open it up to work on every pool in near future. We will prepare full statement why we have decided that.
Regarding linux: somewhere along the line of optimisations, linux version simply stopped working correctly (is giving incorrect results). We do not have enough man power (+ there are holiday times) to track down the issue, but I am sure community will find it and fix once we release the source.
Time to look on eqm miner and more speedUP!
