Nobody can know the exact time that the upcoming will start but the point is everybody thinks there will be an upcoming. So, buying some coins now and waiting for is logical. While trying to catch the exact bottom, we may miss the upcoming, in my opinion.

Absolutely this is NOT the end of ETH. Most of the altcoins are based on ETH and its long term value will be more than 1000 $ that you mentioned. I think, in April or May, we will regret that we did not get more coins in this discount time

Buying any coin with all your money is always very risky. You maximize the potential income of course the risk is maximized, too as a trade-off. Anyway, buying ETH with its current price seems logical, but not with all your money.

With the last decrease, the price of the ETH is a good opportunity for the long term investors. Of course, BTC is the king of them all but according to the current prices of them, it seems more logical to buy ETH now.

I am a fan of VEN and NEBL, I believe they will grow so fast till the end of this year.
None of them is a good choice. You should combine them, I would invest 70% of my reserved money to NEO and rest for ICOs.

Binance and Bittrex are the most popular ones and I love them actually. But Bittrex may have some problems with account confirmation and the interface is a little bit complex. My favorite one is Binance, you do not need confirmation for some amount of transactions.

I first thought that it would be within a month or two, but it seems that we should wait till May / June of this year...

There is a significant decrease in the usd price of eth, but the market is vulnerable at the moment. 400 USD seems a far point for ETH price.

I generally follow forum discussion, social media accounts and related news. It is sad to see that forum discussion sometimes cannot provide a good information, yet, it is important to follow.

Holding the coins till the end of this year and not trading very often. The market is vulnerable at the moment, so trading is not logical.

When I started investing crypto currencies, I have also started joining airdrops. I can summarize the process as follows: - you join 100 different airdrops - 60/100 of them sends the coins - 5/60 of them has a value (not zero value) - 1/5 provides the possibility of getting profit - you catch the profit with possibility 5%

Younger people are of course more open to tech because since they grew with tech rapidly improving, they do not get afraid of it. Also, elder people somehow cannot trust in 1010101's They want to keep the cash in their hands.

I am completely with you with the idea that a little number of alts will survive in the end.
BTC, ETH and NEO will certainly will be three of them. Maybe, VEN and LTC, too.

The earnings that you say is very well, mate. For me, these hours of work is not possible because of my job, but my dream is moving to a house near the sea and doing bounty things, solely

For some reasons, I keep the half of my portfolio as long term investment and the other half as short-term investments. If one of my short-term coin increases rapidly, I sell it and buy another short-term coin.
For long term coins like VEN, NEO and NEBL, you are right, they will be like the paintings that did not reach the initial value yet.
If the coin gets me a profit that is more than I expected ( like 50% in 24 hours) , I sell it all and buy a different and safe coin that did not increase at the past 24 hours. I minimize the risk as well as the possibility of the profit

Sorry for your loss, firstly. After the last crash, all of us, too became long term investors, too But anyway, do not panic and wait in safe coins like NEO, VEN and NEBL.
My new favourite coins are VEN and NEBL. They are long term investments, but sometimes I do some short time trades with them, too. NEO, is also good for those who wants to keep themselves in safe zone.
