1  Economy / Currency exchange / [Done]I have Liberty Reserve, Need Btc-e code, 1:1 on: March 21, 2012, 02:32:30 PM
[Done, got it already with btc-e administrator]

I have Liberty Reserve, Need Btc-e code.

amount around 1.7k, rate 1:1.
lr fee is on you, so if you agree to exchange all lr in 1 time, you will save some fee.

if you are not so popular here, you will have to go first.
2  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [ANN] BTC-e added + direct deposits now enabled! on: March 21, 2012, 12:43:58 PM
OK, this is seriously nuts.

mtgox -> bitcoinica  0.993 (USD-transfers are free using MTGOX codes, so why bother?)
mtgox -> btc-e      0.955

bitcoinica -> mtgox  0.993 (USD-transfers are free using MTGOX codes, so why bother?)
bitcoinica -> btc-e  0.955

btc-e -> bitcoinica  0.993  no one in their right minds would transfer in this direction, they
btc-e -> mtgox      0.993   can send btc and exchange directly on bitcoinica/mtgox for 10-30cents higher.

so the only real one to count is
bitcoinica-> btc-e 0.955
mtgox-> btc-e   0.955   and at 4.5% no one is going to use it, the difference spread on btc-e 2.5-6%

Do the rates change based on liquidity in the exchanges?

marked, confused.

Hi Marked!

Rates do change based on our reserves, and offer/demand on particular currencies. I.e. if we have a lot of MtGox USD, and demand is low and/or withdrawals from MtGox are slow, then exchanging from MtGox to other things will carry a high fee. The opposite will be true, etc...

We are still seeing good volume with the above mentioned rates. Our system does adjust depending on volume per direction, balances, etc.

Today we will announce a new offer for people looking to buy MtGox with cash that we hope will help us move more MtGox, at which time rates will go down.

Thanks!
Roberto

good. its nice to move on!

However, although i always support aurumxchange

mtgox-> btc-e   0.955   this rate is really crazy ,unacceptable.

let's say, 1% is the max for me. 0.x% fee is better.

looking forward to see it return to reasonable rate.

What makes you think it has been replaced? I have not seen any posting by them indicating they have actually switched to a new engine.

check this:

Cryptoxchange's old trade engine has been replaced now?

The interface of pages looks like as usual, only the match algorithm has been updated?

any one try the new trade engine yet? is it smooth?

BillGalaxy,

I've traded an awful lot on Cryptoxchange and several other exchanges, not quite in the amounts you mention but on a multiple time a day basis. From what you're talking about the only thing I can really recognize is issues with their trading engine. They've been upfront about this the whole time so I don't see the point of your initial post at all as spending ten or so seconds of your time on doing a bit of research here should be plenty to let you know they're having issues.

IMO any sane trader would spend a few minutes at least doing research on exchanges etc they plan on trading on prior to actually doing anything especially if throwing around sums of the size you mention.

It sucks if things don't go 100% as expected sure. However spreading FUD and posting shit just because you're upset doesn't help things along.

Ken and crew,

Please get a stable engine out as this is extremely painful.  Grin

hi Bigpiggy01

the only thing I can really recognize is issues with their trading engine
please read the 2 posts links in the main post, know about other issues and problems. i am not the only 1 complained about those issues

what are you talking about? you mean everyone knows they have problems, so we should not use it? don't you know Cryptoxchange also has told us many times, those problems have been fixed? do the research yourself.

IMO, 100%? i am telling you, problems happens all the time, may be 70% time has problem, if things can't go 70% normal as expected, is it suck? and what makes you think i am posting shit and spreading FUD? you also think other posts which pointed these problems are also posting shit and spreading FUD? or you mean we can still trust them even they have these problems which they can't fix until now? couldn't i highly doubt there were under table things? use your brain before you wrote something.

Ken and crew,Please get a stable engine out as this is extremely painful.
the only thing you wrote right. i used Cryptoxchange usually, that's why i gave them suggestions, that's why i found many problems, that's why i am so care about their services, if they can really fix these problems, i will still use them.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not trust Cryptoxchange ! Warning! on: February 25, 2012, 01:56:42 AM
yep, i was too angry so i highly doubted them as scammer, i feel sorry if they really didn't do anythings under table.

they told us many times that such kinds of problems have been fixed and will have no more problem which actually never get fixed.

i still did trade with them because i really trusted what they said. that's all.

Update: It seems I have 58 coins stuck in my account that couldn't be transferred. A second attempt said "Insufficient funds".

that's because of "suck "insufficient funds" check", the system found you might need to pay 0.01btc for fee, so it showed you an err then canceled your whole transfer.

i asked them to eliminate this function, but they don't until now.

watch details at here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=62953
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not trust Cryptoxchange ! Warning! on: February 24, 2012, 11:52:58 AM
hi

thanks for your reply. as i said, fix the problem, and everything will be ok.

well, as you already checked my orders, and indented me, then i have to say, yes, my number of the post aren't exact, because i don't want people know about my market trade arrangement.
when i said deposited 15k usd, it was around 9k usd. the amount is not important here. so lets just ignore it.

as you can see, i am a market trader, for me and many others, timing is very important. i put my orders on your site to buy coins, 2000 at $5, 500 at $5.01 when they showed up at your order list. for at least 5 minutes, you didn't match my orders, i bought nothing. and the price was gone off the order list. let's say, someone or you bought it before i do. do you know how this shit made one boil with anger?

after 5 or 7 or whatever minutes, next round order showed up, you processed my orders with the new orders, but at that time, the market timing is gone, do you understand? process or not process my orders doesn't matter any more, even you processed them, it was even worse, because the market price was lower than yours at that time.

So, the thing at yesterday was when i tried to buy coins at $5 on your site, 5 or 7 minutes after, i got nothing and coins were out off the list, you sold those $5 coins to someone else or you kept them yourself. another 1 or 3 minutes after, new $5 order show up because the market was dropping, then you sold me those coins (i was so pissed off, i forgot to canceled my orders in time). this, its not "matched partially with corresponding sell orders". for me, i did buy nothing, and things even get worse that you matched my orders after long time (minutes) when the market was dropping! and imagine, if the market goes up, the new $5 order would never show up, i would never have chances to buy any coins.

at the end, i want to say, your order matching is always slow/wrong, you miss-match my buy orders, after long time (minutes), when the market price was dropping, you matched my orders with new ask order (won't happen if market goes up or no new order show up). this was all your fault, even you didn't do any under table things. and your promise of resolve system problems never come true for these days. so, please stop finding excuses or talking about other useless/little importance things.

this kinds of delay/slow/wrong problem never happened with other exchangers, and it cost you > 2 weeks to fix until now still failed. please, read it with your occupational ethics, and tell us, did i spread rubbish?

I have had nothing but problems with Cryptoxchange.  There are several problems which occur on a regular basis and then all the other problems that go along with it.  The trade engine is always down.  I have lost money on a regular basis with Cryptoxchange.  I haven't actually lost money but the transactions are not processed.  That leads to me not being able to complete transactions and make money.  That is how I come up with the response I am losing money.  The only answers and responses I get from customer service from cryptoxchange are that yes we realize there is a problem and we have been working on it.  When you work on a problem everyday and it's the same problem that tells me it's nt a problem more like it's how we do business.  If the platform is not ready to use maybe you should consider shutting the site down until it is ready and there aren't any more problems.  Pretty much all you are doing by running around the problem is pissing people off.  I am one of the people you pissed off with a weekly apology and no compensation and no remedy for the problem.  I would suggest anyone looking to use Cryptoxchange to think again and find another exchange.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Lets see the new trade engine of Cryptoxchange ! on: February 23, 2012, 09:31:12 PM
hello,every one.

just now, around February 23, 2012, 09:00:38 PM
i saw $5 volume 2000 ask, $5.01 volume 500 ask on Cryptoxchange's ask order list.

so i deposited 15k usd, and made 2 orders of 2k btcs at $5 and 500 btcs at $5.01.
5 minutes passed, nothing has been processed, after about 7 minutes, the price was suddenly just gone off the order list, i bought nothing at last.

i used to think this is just Cryptoxchange's system problems. and gave them many suggestions, many kind reminders, for the details, check these 2 post:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=62953     Cryptoxchange's System Sucks? or Just Me?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=64546   Cryptoxchange - order matching error?

Cryptoxchange promised that they didn't do any under table things on this delay, neither black case trades.

how ever, such kind of thing, no matter what's its reasons, it already encroached user's profit.

So, i am warning all of you Cryptoxchange users, reconsider this exchanger until all these things perfectly solved.

look, what client said recently:

16  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cryptoxchange's System Sucks? or Just Me? on: February 08, 2012, 01:10:19 AM
Yep, I can confirm that there is a delay between the time of placing a given bid/ask and the time that it is fulfilled.

It was confusing the first time to see my bid of $5.50 and an ask of $5.50 sit there side-by-side for a good 20 seconds.

It was also confusing the 2nd time, and the 3rd.

Nonetheless, Cryptoxchange has definitely impressed me so far.  I'm sure they will take care of this.

Hi,

Theres a huge update going in for the speed of the processing engine, there are literally so many checks it does etc. However, our guys have this sorted and it will be live within 24 hours so what you see now will be instant. It does actually do the trade, the lag is from the UI what you see. But all is fixed just about to be updated Smiley

Regards Crypto X Change

now you finally begin to face these problems, this is good. because your replies earlier to me, from you, from your company, really made me feel sad, they were so irresponsibility excuse and you even doubt what i post here.

we, as clients, giving our suggestions, its a very good thing for you to improve your service and make you always better. we are even better than your most silent clients, because once they feel bad, they just leave you.
hope you understand.
17  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cryptoxchange's System Sucks? or Just Me? on: February 07, 2012, 11:32:56 PM
Pretty sure I've seen slow order execution as well before, although I've never done anything that would cause the second issue you mention.

The slow order execution may just be caching as well - the order gets executed quickly, but if the order book is cached, you might not see that it was executed until a few seconds later.

thank you for your comment.

the thing is in mtgox(just for example), if we make a order, 0.1 sec after, you saw your order place in order list(with ajax table), if there is enough ask, 0.1-0.5 sec after, your order is completed, and that order will be gone. right?

however, in Cryptoxchange, you will definitely not have this fast, once you buy, your order cost 1 sec to be placed on buy list(you click on the button of buy,the page will then reload, that cost 1 sec), and it takes at least 5-10 more secs to complete your buy order if there is still enough ask.

i am not talking about special situation, i am talking about general situation. all my orders have such delay. and i believe everyone has this delay.

and i agree with order book cache can cause the price on list but actually gone, that's why instant trade so important.
18  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cryptoxchange's System Sucks on: February 07, 2012, 01:15:48 PM

19  Economy / Marketplace / Cryptoxchange's System Sucks? or Just Me? on: February 07, 2012, 12:03:18 PM
hello, everyone

Cryptoxchange.com is a new exchanger of bitcoin, but it has a bad system. here are 3 of its weakness:

1: huge time delay on Buy action(may be sell too), at least 10 secs delay on buy action.
for example, you saw a price 5$ on ask list, you buy it immediately, 5secs after your order, nothing happen. 10 secs after, at last, you saw your order complete.

another example, you saw a price 5$ on ask list, you buy it immediately, 5secs after your order, nothing happen.5$ still on ask list, 10 secs after, still nothing change. however you find the 5$ price ask has already gone ,off the ask list(some one bought it), and your buy order is still waiting at order list at 5$. anger, hum?

suggestion: make it instant, just like other exchangers, instant, real time.0.1sec.

2: suck "insufficient funds" check

this weakness exists in everywhere of this system, every time you try to buy/sell/withdraw something, if the total amount more than your funds existing, you will get "You have insufficient funds" Err and your whole order is canceled.

for example, you saw an ask of 1000bitcoins at 5$, but you have only 4900$ in your account, if you make an order buy 1000btc at 5, you will see "You have insufficient funds" Err, and you didn't buy a penny of bitcoin.you need to calculate yourself every time you do it.

suggestion: let through every order client makes, if his/her funds existing isn't enough for this order, then let the valid part be executed, and mark the rest part pending or not enough fund.

3: order matching error

this weakness caused by the huge delay and bad database/cache speed.
for example, at this time,February 22, 2012, 10:15:47 AM, you have such view on Cryptoxchange's order list:
Market - Ask
Displaying items 1 - 15 of 80
Quantity(BTC)   Price(USD)   Amount(USD)   Date
70.85001600   4.32010   306.0792   2/22/2012 10:05 AM
4.90000000   4.47500   21.9275   2/22/2012 7:04 AM

Market - Bid
Displaying items 1 - 15 of 28
Quantity(BTC)   Price(USD)   Amount(USD)   Date
25.97000000   4.33000   112.4501   2/22/2012 10:05 AM
73.02818400   4.32000   315.4818   2/22/2012 10:10 AM

another example:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=64546.0

see? bid price is bigger than ask price, this is not a special case, it happens all the time, and this will stay for a long time, can be there more than 10 minutes. what a surprise. Cryptoxchange said they are working on them now, but i think, this problem is with the huge delay one, if they can't fix that problem for such a long time, then this one neither.

it has been many days that i reported these 3 problems to cryptoxchange Member on forum by pm, he/she did reply me that he will report them to support team, but nothing has been improved until now, guess they don't really care about these.

Until now, nothing has been improved, if you are also a Cryptoxchange user, please reply here with your opinion, thank you

Sell at mtgox           : 5.6$,  plus 0.3% trade fee, plus 5.9% Withdrawal Fee, you got 5.2537912 $LR
