241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines is starting to accept bitcoin. on: March 04, 2018, 09:57:07 AM
Our country just recently held a seminar introducing bitcoin in our country. The said seminar were facilitated
by bitcoin experts and government officials in pursuit of using bitcoin as another form of payment and regulation of it as well.

http://www.wheninmanila.com/5-things-i-learned-about-bitcoin-and-cryptocurrency/

Banks always will warn people to not invest in bitcoin or in any other crypto but as far as I've seen here in forum the Philippines community is pretty active and i've seen people that use coin.ph (or so) which I think is very popular as I've been seen lots of time online as a good wallet/exchange service.
Philippines made a good step by accepting bitcoin and this can be a good motivation for other countries to work more and accept bitcoin in their country, giving the people the freedom to use the bitcoin and not restricting them from using bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: February 28, 2018, 10:11:43 AM
March distribution canceled?

I as an investor am feeling very bad because we waited from November until Now (March) which is around 4 months and at the end they cancel it, it's not fair at least they could notify us earlier and not in February which makes me very angry and pissed of because I had the chance to sell the byteball at a more expensive price but I waited for the airdrop but nothing.
Byteball price will fall probably, it already has fallen from 1k to $400 and maybe more than this.
243  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are You Disappointed In Trading? on: February 28, 2018, 10:00:00 AM
Ok, Indra, I didnt get a word from what you wrote, and this is me who usualy being accused of using Klingon language.

On-topic:
Dan Gamza is a wise man, however there is no universal formula or set of rules that would make you a successful trader.
A successful trader should not be disappointed from your investment as bitcoin is already doing well in the market and it is predicting that its value will increase further in the coming days. I suggest investing in bitcoin to stabilize yourself financially. As he consider it a part of the game as one must be aware of the consequences he might have to face while doing trading where only the fattiest can survive as it needs strategy and sound knowledge and perhaps luck too.

I always do my home work and search market before investment as I keep myself prepare for the upcoming circumstances and wait patiently in case of any uncertainty.

XLM has a potential to overtake XRP
246  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do you plan to sell? on: February 11, 2018, 09:51:40 PM
I always set my assets into x2 or x3 from the price that I bought it.Then always take my profit of 70% and the rest 30% will buy back if ever the price goes down or invest in other assets.Always remember to take your profit and don't invest all again because you are not sure if this assets will rise it's value again after down fall.

Very accurate, that is what I'm also doing, the only difference is that I invest it all again since I don't need the money that much, I'm patiently waiting if the coin that I have bought is in DUMP then I will just simply HODL it, there is no reason for me to do panic selling unless that certain coin will be deleted in all of the exchangers. Selling will be always depends on your will, if you wanted to sell it this price then sell it, there is no harm doing that.

But, you have to consider the fact that you might be able to lose some profits because of selling too early or a little bit late.
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to participate in ICO's? on: February 11, 2018, 08:58:27 PM
Right now there are many ICOs coming out, is it really safe to participate in any of it and spend that much? In participating ICOs I have high hopes that these coins could be the next Bitcoin or other currencies that are really going up in the market.

Before investing "blindly" into ICOs it is much better to reserve some time for making a deep research about these new ICOs and the current ones and search whatever you can about their ICOs. You should check for their team, who is behind the ICOs, what do they do, do they have any background in investment, blockchain, or are anonymous, unknown for the public or even fake profiles to fool the people to invest into their project. Secondly you should check about their terms, their privacy (if you care), what service they offer, why are they so innovative and are they really solving a problem or they are just like most of the shitcoins.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MyEtherWallet vs. MyCrypto on: February 11, 2018, 06:49:08 PM
What are people's thoughts on this? Please share your feedback.
According to me i prefer to choose MEW for wallet ETH,  because MEW is very easy to use and very safety.  The others wallet are seems good too,  but i already fall in love with MEW.
I have read the news MEW will change into  My crypto wallet. My Crypto wallet can use for ETH, litecoin and ripple but usually need KYC and i think it's more complicated than MEW. For me,  i still use MEW because there's no statement and announcement anymore from MEW official and i still afraid My crypto wallet is just phising site.

Firstly MyCrypto is like a "fork" of MyEtherWallet, I'm considering as a fork because the MEW service will still work as it is in the new website of MyCrypto.com but in this new environment the developers and the contributors will continue contributing and developing this new service by adding new features but without forgetting the MEW (they will still continue improving MEW regarding to MyCrypto). I like the new design of MyCrypto and I'm excited to see what will be next, what will they implement/add features to MyCrypto. My suggestion is to stay in MEW until they make some major changes in MyCrypto.
249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft Removes Bitcoin on: February 11, 2018, 05:40:08 PM
why Microsoft Removes Bitcoin as Payment Option for Microsoft Storew?

There are many reasons why they have stopped accepting bitcoin for their services.

[1] Transaction fees - it was when it was that bitcoin transactions fees are zero (or at least near to zero), now that the price of bitcoin is 10-20k the transaction fees become very expensive too, nobody is interested to pay 50-100+ USD on fees, we know their product prices.

[2] Stability - Bitcoin price is unstable, we undersant when it keeps increasing it's good of course but when it drops to 50% then how they will calculate the profit of the product they sell, or they should hold always the funds with a hope that the price will increase!
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum prediction in 2018 on: February 11, 2018, 05:10:14 PM
It's sad. The ether here fell to $ 1000, but that's all against the background of the depreciation of bitcoins.

Based on the past recent months trend, I speculate that the price of ethereum will be around 2-3k USD
Ethereum is going to switch from Proof Of Work (POS) to Proof Of Stake (POS), this makes the miners to mine Ethereum Classic (ETC) or any other coin that can be mined from the GPUs especially from the RX 580 and with the increase of the epoch which is going to 4GB very soon I think that the GPUs with 4GB of RAM will switch to another coin. With the increase price of Ethereum the fees will also increase which will not be friendly for micro-transactions and I think that people will still look for another coin until they meet dogecoin which is very cheap very fast and probably one of first coins which was started as a joke but then became very popular.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Shall I buy BTC? on: February 11, 2018, 04:13:25 PM
Is buying BTC currently a good idea, or should I be going with ethereum?
Pls suggest...

252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coins do you like besides Ethereum? on: February 11, 2018, 02:05:47 PM

253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook bans cryptocurrency ads.. on: February 11, 2018, 01:06:06 PM
Facebook Gives Crypto Ads the Thumbs Down.

Facebook has issued an outright ban. As of a new ruling issued on January 30, “ads must not promote financial products and services that are frequently associated with misleading or deceptive promotional practices, such as binary options, initial coin offerings, or cryptocurrency”. The move is sure to be welcomed by Facebook users and bitcoin enthusiasts alike, who recognize that these adverts do little to promote the benefits of cryptocurrency.

254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can be the media to spread about crypto? on: February 11, 2018, 12:30:23 PM
As we all know that crypto world is increasing rapidly but still to reach each corner of the world about crypto what can be the media?
I think telling a friends and family about this is not enough.

I see bitcoin in TV.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Airdrops Profitable? on: February 07, 2018, 04:00:44 PM
Sometimes they are but most of the time they are shitcoins.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China Censors Cryptocurrency Ads on Search Engines and Social Media on: February 07, 2018, 10:00:53 AM
It's only China, more and more countries are restricting many companies and TV's sometimes to not show cryptocurrencies ads.

258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10 ETH or 1 BTC? on: February 06, 2018, 03:20:10 PM
Now I would choose 1 Bitcoin. It seems to me that today is a very important day for bitcoin and a new benchmark. Now there will be growth up and conquest of new peaks. I feel sorry for those people who did be in time to buy bitcoin at a low price.
Still is not too late to buy bitcoin now even though the price is +$2k within the past of 24-48hours
Ethereum is a good platform and we all see that many coins are using the Ethereum to build their token and use their infrastructure to run their token which is good of course because the network of ethereum is getting more and more popular which makes people use more and invest more in ethereum.
I knew about ethereum when it was $18 and when I firstly started to learn about the mining and how to mine ethereum, I was sceptic but now highly motivated to invest in ETH.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the best altcoin on: February 06, 2018, 11:40:33 AM
