141  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to increase BTC? on: July 10, 2017, 12:29:16 AM
I'm also a beginner, so I can only give you what I'm doing to increase my bitcoins. First thing I did was after being a jr. Member, I already applied on a signature campaigns and start gaining bitcoins. And now I'm starting to do trading and that makes my bitcoins increase.
You should not enter in trading without any knowledge, you should first consider some books or maybe youtube videos or something like that for getting some knowledge about trading and then you can make profits quiet easily. But trading without any knowledge is like going in a pool full of piranhas.
142  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should long term holders sell before August 1st? on: July 09, 2017, 11:00:54 PM
No, you shouldn't sell you bitcoins before 1st August, just hold on to them because you are long term holders. The decision of segwit or whatever will be the decision will only increase the confidence of investors in bitcoin and isn't gonna be against bitcoin.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does it need to start an ICO? on: July 09, 2017, 10:32:25 PM
There are many things you should account for in starting an ICO (this is what I think) a good idea, dedication to pursue your dream whatever happens in your life, a great website, good team, hardworking marketing team; they are the Backbone of money flow in an ICO, escrow are a must so that the owner doesn't run away with the funds. I am open to other ideas, as I also have no experience in hosting ICO.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why altcoin is a bad investing? on: July 09, 2017, 10:11:43 PM
As all the altcoins are crap and are a result of somebody else's greed of quick money by doing premine or whatever they like to do with it, but they don't understand is that in the end bitcoin is gonna outperform all the altcoins.
145  Economy / Economics / Re: Would bitcoin help teach kids about saving? on: July 09, 2017, 09:57:04 PM
I would say that bitcoin isn't good for teaching children about saving money, but you can teach them how to invest money by bitcoin.
As by telling them that in the start bitcoin was in penny's and now it's more precious than gold.
146  Economy / Economics / Re: Your plans for 1st august? on: July 09, 2017, 09:32:27 PM
My plans are simple, just take out my bitcoins from the exchanges and keep them in a wallet whose keys I control. And watch the grand show with some coke and popcorn.
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: July 08, 2017, 08:02:07 PM
1 reason why Bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency because Bitcoin is the first digital asset that was created, it proved itself due the course of time and now it is in 2000$+ , when it was new in the internet the price of this is only cents but because of people who trusted Bitcoin and invested a lot with it, the price change through the time the longer it stay alives the price become more high.
Even now there is high chance of the rising of the price of bitcoin as most of the people say that bitcoin is like the internet of 1990's. So still its not too late to get in te line of te potential gains by bitcoin.

149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bloody day trade on: July 08, 2017, 07:35:12 PM
So the most ludicrous pump in human history is finally faltering? What did anyone expect? Peoples memories here are pitifully short. Three or four months ago ethereum was 10 dollars.
And now ethereum is following reverse fibonacci sequence and is coming back to what was the price earlier, although it seems too good to be true that ethereum would go back again to $10, if in that case I'll sell all my bitcoins to buy ethereum.
150  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hash rate increased by 30% this week. on: July 08, 2017, 07:11:40 PM
There won't be any war. Every major mining pool agreed that SegWit2x is the only viable scaling strategy among proposed upgrades.

Why would someone want to do this, the price of Bitcoin after the upgrade will high enough to compensate for lowered tx fees.
I think there is still small group of people against segwit2x and they have announced that they will start mining bitcoin clone with all their hashpower to threaten bitcoin network. However I don't think they will do so in reality when segwit2x will be activated.

Mining bitcoin is always profitable if miners are not from country where electricity cost is really high. Price of bitcoin have increased significantly recently so it is even more profitable than before.
So there will be two bitcoins more like ethereum and ethereum classic?
Although the other chain will be having pretty less power, but it would still be more than other crypto currencies and I believe that mining on both the chains would still remain profitable.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The ASIC problem on: July 08, 2017, 06:52:38 PM
The crypto community is slowly shifting its focus into tokens and it may not be that far away when we don't got for mining at all. Everything be pre-mined/predefined from the beginning.
And it's also a good way to scam others,....... Launch a premined crypto, give some tokens for free and do some marketing of the coin and when it launch on exchanges, dump it.
Its been the practice for quiet a time, so I guess mining is actually good for crypto as the coin generation will be steady and predictable and so do the price.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ether price? on: July 08, 2017, 06:35:19 PM
eth is going to 200 and maybe 150 dun buy now!!!!
remember it was like 2-digit usd worth before months
ETH is holding strong above $220. It will go above $300 soon after this market correction ends. Just because it was 2 digit stock before does not mean it will go back there. Its like saying Apple was a 10B company before so it will go back to 10B.

Well sooner or later all these ICOs will have to cash out the more Ether continues to fall in terms of price. Therefore is could decrease in value much more as some might think at the moment. It's mostly the ICOs what are holding up Eth's value at the moment. This is a very fragile house of cards without any strong fundamental base. Just pure speculation and lots of greed. So be cautious!
And the recent ICO are the main reason for the ethereum price to hold above than $300 value. If it would not have been those ICO the ethereum price would have fallen pretty sooner than recently.

155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Project-Kanak on: July 08, 2017, 12:37:45 AM
just one piece of advice.... dont play the gold backed bullshit so many other projects have played and died!
Exactly! Even a few days earlier there was another topic promising the cryptocurrency backed by real gold reserves.
They must find a new way now to scam people off their money as this is now getting kinda predictive. LOL...
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][FNC] FinCoin (fincoin.co) on: July 07, 2017, 06:05:52 PM
Whether this coin has a future for people to participate in here?
It looks like an interesting project and i want looking development of this projects.

What's the future of this project! Referral system.
It looks more of like a ponzi scheme, look at the referral system levels, doesn't it remind you of ponzi schemes!!
And some suckers are also reserving translation here!!
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: What's this all about these groups? on: July 07, 2017, 04:44:59 PM
Invest at your own risk.
Be careful , in case of  this pump group scam you .
These pump groups are made to scam people and only the owner and his friends benefit from the pumps and the group members become bag holders after that buy support fades away due to the owner selling his bags 5o the members and that's why the owner makes a channel and not a group so that only positive things are posted on the channel,as the comments are controlled by the owner himself.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why All Coins Dump? on: July 07, 2017, 04:13:31 PM
My altcoins portfolio lost 30% and not yet stop!  Cry That's why I am very worry. So, the reason is because of Bitcoin going down? I am new to this crypto world and I am very worry when I see 30% lost  Embarrassed

I invested a lot in Ark, Stratis, Ador, and Aragon. What do you guys think about these coins future? I intended to keep these coins for long terms.

Warren Buffet would tell you that only 2 prices matter - first the one at which you bought and the second at which you sold.
The rest is noise.

If you are hodling for long term than turn off whatever equivalent of crypto CNBC you are watching and you should be fine.
And for day traders what is more important is the noise, as their daily income depends on it.
Market works in 3 ways, first is bullish, then sideways and then bearish. The sideways market is good for traders.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where are Steemit users paid from? on: July 07, 2017, 03:33:16 PM
I scanned the first sites of the whitepaper. It is a complex system, but i try to explain it in my words.

Miners get Steem as reward. That is the source of Steem.

Content creators and curators become rewarded in SP and SBD for content creation (amount decided by community through curation) and curators for curating.

SBD can be exchanged into Steem. Why should someone buy SBD? Because you get interests on it. SP can be powered down to Steem over a period of time.

So if the miners mine Steem and then exchange it into SBD, they get even more rewards.

Does I understood it right?

So can the value despite this inflation rise? Are the mining rewards lowered by time?
Steem power can be powered down and this process takes about 12 months to complete and as far as I remember you will be getting your Steem in small proportions over the time being.

Dev you should consider changing your project name, so as to avoid any confusions in future.
