This is a great news if it will be true. Bitcoin has potential to be world's strongest currency but a growth upto that level depends upon lot of factors and will require huge promotion of currency which is still non existent to many people.

Interesting topic. Some currencies have a different word to describe the currency, and one or more words for the units. For example - Yuan is the unit for the Renminbi, and pounds and pennies are the units for Sterling. When discussing currencies that don't have this split, then one tends to use the singular for example - The Dollar or the Euro. Bitcoin has two units - the Bitcoin and the Satoshi. So when talking about funds transfer I believe one should say one Bitcoin or two Bitcoins. Satoshi does not really have a plural, so it should be one Satoshi, or 1,000 satoshi. When discussing the currency, I believe thast one should say Bitcoin is in the ascendancy, rather than using the plural. No doubt many will disagree with my opinion though.  Not some, most of the currencies are described in the same way as you told above. Like Indian currency is Rupee and it's smaller unit is paise. Paise are always paise no matter what the amount is but Rupee is used as both 1 Rupee and 100 Rupees. |
