Follow-up question on the capital gains tax: if stock markets drop because people are locking in current profits by selling stock, does that mean they have to pay taxes now? Which would mean the US government potentially gained billions of tax just because Biden made an announcement?

I'm still flabbergasted by the idea that Americans can choose when they want to pay their taxes.

The taste of true freedom.

Thanks for the cheapest mne I ever purchased. And thanks for the weak emotions you have toward mne from a poster who doesn't know the dev at all. You guys are not smart at all if you let forum speculation get you to sell

It's just people with multiple genesis addresses dumping on you what they got for free and will keep getting for decades. The coin actually gets somewhere they win. The coin dies, they got something for free. You are the one taking a risk for what at the moment seems like a very bad bet

Not Really because I own a Genesis Address and I buy at the same time. There are about 20 others that are doing the same. I know for a fact that mne will be above 5 again. PS: I was in this space before eth/coinbase/blockchain.info (2010) - I know what I'm talking about.

In ICO's, Developers own all the coins then sell it in an ico (sometimes at outrageous prices), is this a scam. Mostly will say no because this is just part of fundraising for the development.
In case of minereum, the Dev gave a huge portion a the genesis addresses as an Airdrop then take a portion of the genesis for himself and sell the coins he owns. Development is not free, the Dev needs funds to deliver his promises and so far he delivered all of them.

Most people here are fudding because they bought at a high price but that is free market. Why would you even buy a coin on a pump?

Which portion did he keep and give away?  Do you have any numbers.  I did not think that information was available.  Please let us see the figures.  You seem to be in the know may we please have some facts on what the dev kept and what was airdropped.  I think you have information no one else has with these claims.  Put them here for us to see.

No i do not have that information except for the post the Dev made in the minereum thread that he does not own the majority of the genesis address. But Yes i believe that the Dev should reveal the exact genesis he owns for the sake of transparency. The point of my post above is that to say it can not be called a scam just because the Dev owns genesis addresses.

I love how you say owns genesis addresses.  He owns them by the hundreds, kept it on the down low and remains anonymous to this day.  This isn't a simple kept 2 or 3 genesis addresses for his efforts.  This is massive fraud were talking about here.  If he is on the up and up why not tell us who he is?  If he wanted paid for his work and demanded 100's of addresses why not just say so.

Go here and look at what happened and tell me if you see anything suspicious.  Look around 9/15

http://genesis.artemine.org/

That's not an innocent few addresses.  That's a scam and a fraud.  Clear cut and right there for you to see.

How many genesis address should the Dev hold to qualify it as Legit or Fraud. Can you give a number? The ongoing Unikrn ico has 20% of the coins available for sale while they kept 80% for the company, is Unikrn a fraud? Maybe or Maybe not. Ripple Holds majority of XRP and release it bits by bits, is Ripple Company a scammer?. As a said before The Dev should disclose the number of addresses he owns for the sake of transparency but owning Genesis address alone even by hundreds for me doesnt qualify as a Scam or Fraud like you are saying.

All your examples have projects which disclosed what they were doing so investors were able to make a proper decision.  That is not fraud.

Notice how you cannot tell me anything about who owns what with Minereum/Artemine.  Its because that information is unknown.  Your in a scam.  Worse yet your defending it.

Who says anonimity equals scam?!🤔
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - First Self Mining Smart Contract - ARTEMINE ICO NOW LIVE on: September 24, 2017, 03:32:34 AM
Actually, if you really think about this situation, this all noise and fuss about gens is done pretty much from nothing. Here's why:

- No one can ever regulate perfectly the distribution of gens
- Bad distribution isn't really dev's fault
  - Anyone can show up as multi-person with bots and gain the gens to the one table
- that guy can't really win much due to low buy walls
- Whales always exist, deal with it

Most of the Minereum and Artemine Genesis addresses are held by the scammer of the system.  Which in turn makes this a scam coin.

How many people are rushing out to use Minereum.  ZERO  How many people are going to rush out and use the ICO factory.   ZERO.  ICO's are already under .gov pressure so Artemine is done before it begins and that's without the scam.  This project is a no go from 10 different angles.

So we have most of the genesis address held by a single person + a product that is not used.

Game over.

And muhlambo your starting to give yourself away.  Your a little too invested in pumping this.  If you keep post over and over daily everyone is going to figure out who you are.

Finally this will always exist.  Deal with it.

WARNING
LONG POST, please read until the end before making a decision...... also please read with an open mind set..

I'm no way saying this project is a scam... the information i'm about to provide is details i believe we should've all known, that we should've been told about from the beginning. With the lack of communication from the dev, its apon the community to find crucial details that should be made public. I'm about to provide some addresses that are of concern and explain my findings so everyone can see for themselves.

I'm going to start with an obvious one alot of people noticed during the first day of ico.
0x03b7c8d1f3974565150cf15d15543e1af59a0e85
here is an address that was used to fund eth (gas) to 816 gen. addresses then, all those addresses sent all there mne to ico... all instantly by using a bot. you do the math 816 addresses all 243mne thats around 200k mne into ico during last hour of day one.... best thing yet all addresses were completely inactive before this......

that is an easy one to see.. all it shows is someone has 816 addresses, never used it until last hour of day one ico and decided to dump into the arte

now we are getting alot more complex..... 36 days ago a bot pulled all the unused eth(gas) from over 5k addresses... that is the link.... now within those 5k addresses you will find hundreds of what i call "burner" addresses... these regular eth addresses group mne gen addresses together to send a larger amount of mne to certain places...this now links thousands of gen addresses to a single person.. how many to be exact, idk i cant keep count nor do i want to spend the time but everything provided below will be linked to that same address that collected the eth...

here is the address used to collect eth

what do all these have in common?Huh look at the eth transaction... 36 days ago a bot took the left over eth out and sent to a single address.... all of these are linked together by that address..... and thats not even close to it.... what about the first deposits into livecoin....first addresses to deposit were all from a single source... dont believe me... check for yourself

wanna take some more research yourself... go to mne gen address list... pick ANY random address and i bet MOST will link to the ETH addresses i provided

i said most.. why??? a few reasons... like the first example i gave you... those 816 addresses dont link.. why... they were inactive 36 days ago... also one more address that doesnt link but has 128 addresses in a single burner address ready to be sent....
0xC40B312169c7F8d93679EF1E91da989693cB5f93

all this really shows is that 1 person might have close to all of the mne gen addresses... or maybe a few people have almost all of them.... more money for the project some might say.. i dont really care... what im trying to give you is the information you HAVENT been given.... please look around and tell me what i missed

I do not think you're qualified for any type of statement at this point. By the way I'm buying 10k Mne later next week to make my point clear.

Hello,

I have few questions:

1. Do you have roadmap with dates?

2. What do you mean by "decentralisation of the messenger's storage"? Each node will contain whole log?

3. What is the purpose of the coin?

Thanks in advance

Have you read the white paper? https://obsidianplatform.com

Yes and there is no roadmap with dates.

Why give dates when we know dates are not guaranteed. Especially with programming software.

So I sell 2k worth of bitcoin at 1980 and now the price is up to 2130 and rising. As always you're welcome everyone for my fixing the price slide.

(This happens a lot to me. Last time I gave up on p2pool they found 3 blocks in 24 hours. Ah well...)

Doesn't sound "legendary" to me. 😉

Just understand this guys, Minereum is designed so that all can contribute on the success of MNE. Unlike other projects which the sole purpose of the ICO is to make a prototype or anything, technology related to ease everyday life of people.
In the case of MNE, all can pick up the slack, contribute on things where it can increase demand on getting Minereum. For example, if you have an online shop, you can accept Minereum as payment, like that. And it will manifest through time, just like bitcoin.

This is the reason I created Vosh™ - Minereum™ first stable currency.
