2  Economy / Services / Re: Ebay Bitcoin wise on: April 05, 2015, 04:16:53 PM
why people who start market places have you to use the eBay name, gosh is getting old. Open bazaar did the same thing, looking forward to open Bazzar.

its a reference for the general public to get an idea beforehand.

the why is because we want to decentralize and make people more aware that bitcoins can be trusted with secure transactions as well as fiat.

edit : by the way. keep your promotions OFF my post. thank you!!

why would I promote?  you already made yourself look bad.  Im no way affiliated with them.

ok

This is interesting, I have all ways been looking at ways to combat e-bay,

i would like to put my name forward, If nothing else I will be watching this.

how does "we will give you a wallet address to monitor" work?

If I don't control the wallet I don't know who has private keys.

you WILL have the wallet to control. the wallet a hot wallet (will need at least a number of people to vote for the best online wallet they know [[security of our sellers and our buyers should be our priority, i hope everybody agrees on that]]

3 online wallet on the name of the company (still in argument amongst partners about that). Each Escrow member has the total right over the wallet.

to note : if buyers or sellers does not agree to have a company wallet because of the number of scams online and are afraid they get scammed by the company, the Escrow members will then use a private address with their private key and not even the company stakeholders will have access on it.
(we will take a vote about that later on when this thread gets real)

would also like to point out, escrow members will be doing it for free UNTIL the time the website is well established enough to start distributing profits (annual profits only). Its a way to decentralize online market for using only ebay or amazon for buying and selling. Bitcoin is the future. we need to keep having new ideas, new markets, new ways of doing transactions back and forth.

The pricing of the items will be in USD until one day bitcoin reaches a stable amount. (so that if bitcoin price falls, or rise : both the buyer and the seller cannot complain of getting less or getting more)

we are trying to get the best out of it. best market place for bitcoin transaction it should be in some months or years.

Squall1066. Welcome on board.

Thanks for explaining that part of your procedure, I have all ways been happy to do free escrows, I feel its my duty to help people starting off in the bitcoin world, not charge them :-)

There are a few cloud based/on-line wallet providers about at the minute, I am happy to do this, I would like it noted, if anyone chooses to escrow directly, I have a lovely cold wallet storage system set up for my escrows and I also cover against loss/theft on my part.

Regards.

Very good. Just perfect.
would love if you could start a poll about it. that way other people get to vote and write reviews about what they feel is the best.

Thank you very much mate, you gave us a moral boost in few minutes.

would love to hear you all guys. newbie trying to leave a footprint.

Thank you

We have been working on an ecommerce website for about a month now.

price for posting a product : $1 in bitcoin regardless Auction wise or Buy it now wise.

1% fee of After Auction price

Help needed : 3 Reputable members (Legendary, Hero only) [[or members who have already been used as Escrow, i reserve the right to accept or decline]] for acting as Escrow. you will be given a wallet address to monitor and redistribute as per transaction.

Every product on sale will have a TAG number. which buyers MUST include while doing their payment (buyers for posting and sellers for buying).

The Escrow holds the Payment until the product arrives and checked.

The Seller shoots a 20 seconds Video Clip, or photo of a Receipt with stamp as at date, for Proof of Postage. As well as photos of the condition in which the items were posted. This will enable to clarify and resolve disputes / potential scam disputes.

if i get 5 thumbs up, i accelerate the process and put it live by next week.

your comments, your opinions and your review are highly valued. please dont be shy.

negative reviews are the best. they help to upgrade and detect potential flaws.

Website will be Ddos protected along with auto-update prevention against sql injection attacks..

Things were also looking like this back at the beginning of February and we did a slow but surprise breakout there, as well. I think chances are still quite good that this is "it"

just a newbie speculating : my best price i can imagine during this month is 315$ at highest. IF the boom happens

If a boom happens, I'd imagine it not going above $400 within a month, tops. But I think your target of $315 makes sense for the most part. One thing, though: we need to get above $310-$325 in order to confirm a breakout from previous resistance levels there. If bit we may bounce off again!!!

agreed! what i noticed is people are pushing noobs to buy at a higher price all the time.. market + 8% market + 11%
this is gradually making a point on the market. see previously it was 235, hit up straight within a week to 297 before dropping again in a week.. but what happened is it stayed more or less firm on the 240-255 mark..
which is still a 10$ rise if we suppose it stood most of the time on 248...

every little time there is a push for a boom, the price will rise a little more.. exchangers are finding bitcoin more and more profitable because its easier for them to drive the price up than fiat which needs a lot of govt and gdp change..

but still just a newbie's observation

its an impressive observation man. you are probably right but gdp??
what is gdp?

DEFINITION of 'Gross Domestic Product - GDP' The monetary value of all the finished goods and services produced within a country's borders in a specific time period, though GDP is usually calculated on an annual basis.

google is not down yet!

17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: April 02, 2015, 04:43:50 PM
So, from reading all of the replies, I can conclude that these methods might be the best way to earn Bitcoins:

-Signature Campaign: Get to a higher rank and get about 0.1 BTC a month
-Gambling: All depends on luck, I might be able to earn a lot of BTC, but can lose everything
-Exchange/Trading: Exchanging (altcoins, wage, etc) into BTC or vice versa until I can get a profit
-Service: Having some kind of service that accepts BTC as currency

That's what seems like some of the ways. I'm already in a Signature Campaign with 777coin, so that's one way I'm earning BTC. Gambling... well, I've lost some. I don't think it's a great way of earning coins. Trading, I'll look into that. Service, I'll also look into that.

Thanks everybody for helping all the other newbies out there, including myself! Big ups! Smiley

If anybody has anything else other than the ones already mentioned, go ahead!

In all honesty, you can get up to even 1 bitcoin per month in signature campaign if you tend to be online for most of the day and actively participate in different topics without spamming. It is achievable, but for you to attain that goal, you must be very careful on what you post. Some posts that are too far from what the topic is can be considered as insubstantial post. And insubstantial posts are grounds for bans.

the thing is i would love to sign in for those signature campaigns. i know i am a newbie i cannot.. but to be honest with everyone, its just another way to push ads into the forum. its good, you earn some money with it, but since smf cannot include ads, they found this way to do it..
