1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The way US government can crack down Silk Road, Tor and Bitcoin on: February 01, 2012, 01:00:34 PM
I'm not really sure how drugs benefit society, maybe blowing off steam? Not that I have a problem with people who want to take drugs. But to suggest that drugs are cool, but guns are bad is silly. In my opinion.

Without drugs there wouldn't be any society http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stoned_ape_theory#.22Stoned_Ape.22_theory_of_human_evolution

2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tor Idea. on: February 01, 2012, 12:51:26 AM
I think some sort of pool hosted as a tor hidden service, then use tor to send the
new blocks to workers and proof of work back doesn't need to be extremely fast.

5  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: GPU mine on an intel hd graphics 3000? on: January 26, 2012, 02:55:59 PM
CPU mining is a waste of time right?
With bitcoin yes, but litecoin is optimized for CPU so GPU mining is impossible currently.

Because I tend towards individualism more than collectivism,
also getting a 50 is sweeter than small steady payouts, i probably will join a pool
once litecoin gets bigger and more competative.

18  Other / Beginners & Help / GPU mine on an intel hd graphics 3000? on: January 24, 2012, 10:42:44 PM

19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there a way to anonymously access the internet with prepaid wireless devices? on: January 24, 2012, 10:29:27 PM
I for one like SR's chances.

Anyway true anonymity can only come through illegal activities,
TOR and even Bitcoin has some potential weaknesses that the US and other sates are
actively trying to exploit and any legit proxy/vpn/vps edit will give logs to LEO,
so your only options are hacking wireless networks, carded 3G sim cards, hacking servers or using malware to route your traffic through them.
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie restricted in marketplace until, and pp/bitcoin exchange? on: January 24, 2012, 08:57:47 PM
Hi, I'm new here and I'm wondering until when I'm still restricted from posting replies or opening new topics in the marketplace forum?

Also, I'm wondering where the best place is to exchange any bitcoins I get back into paypal dollars?
I use VirWox which is quick and legit but you have to go from paypal deposit>SLL>BTC>BTC withdraw
so you get a fee taken off you twice.
