401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is everyone just HODLing? on: April 18, 2018, 11:23:51 PM
Hi Forum
I would like to know what real value you think HODLing adds. What is the point of just holding bitcoin till moon and lambo ? This is cryptocurrency, why aren't we using this as currency? If we all just hold then this whole thing takes on a completely different business model, we lose all real value that it has as currency and it just becomes a full on speculative bubble.

Bitcoin and other currencies have no value if nobody uses them. So I would like to encourage everyone to spend and replace instead of just blindly holding. We won't see merchant adoption skyrocketing if nobody buys stuff with bitcoin. And yes I know it can go up in value, but why not just spend your BTC and EFT some fiat over to your local exchange and replace the BTC you spent ?
If any businesses accept BTC or other currencies it is our duty to support them extra for it and use cryptocurrency.
I think it should take a few more years to fully use bitcoin. When the market reaches its limits of capitalization, will cease to give as many X as it gives now, we will start to use cryptocurrencies for business.
402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan plans to become the Bitcoin capital of the world. on: April 18, 2018, 11:18:47 PM
Why Japan? China, for example, is also carrying out reforms in this direction. Change of power, which will work towards the development of digital technologies. This may lead to the creation of its cryptocurrency in China.
403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you a True Believer? on: April 18, 2018, 11:05:16 PM
I as well as many, corny believe that buying bitcoin, a year later it will cost more. But if digital currencies are actively developing, I will apply them in my life. Wink
404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why not compare Bitcoin with money? on: April 18, 2018, 11:02:33 PM
I don't think we should ignore the obvious human factor of greed. The authorities will delay the maximum event of comparing digital money with paper. This simply unprofitable. They will not be able to fully and profitably manage digital currencies for their own purposes, as it can be done with paper money.
405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: April 18, 2018, 10:24:46 PM
If that's even his name. Just read the bitcoin wiki on him and I'm amazed. Nobody knows him.

Long time passed since he last posted in here. Why? "Busy"? I don't think so. He was active when bitcoin needed support but since the slashdot...
Also, it seems has knowledge in many areas, especially economy. He doesn't act like the average human. Not taking advantage out of his creation, leaving without telling anything. Is he even a single person or a group?

How can someone create something so great and not stepping out to get the credit?
There are several answers to this question. Someone thinks that it is the pseudonym behind which lurks a group of people, millionaires, businessmen. Someone believes that this is a person who has calculated everything to make an economic revolution in the world.
406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your crypto? on: April 18, 2018, 09:23:32 PM
If you are a beginner then I do not recommend you to trade, gambling etc. While just hold your bitcoin wallet and save it longer.

409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin is better than other coins? on: April 18, 2018, 09:20:33 PM
Nonetheless, bitcoin continues to grow, and the transaction rate and the size of the fee is adjustable. And that's pretty exciting for bitcoin. Therefore, it is quite capable of becoming a real currency.

412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin worth risking your time and money? on: April 11, 2018, 10:40:18 PM
If you want to change your life by starting to earn, then you should take a risk and try yourself in cryptocurrency. If you fail, you can always sell your coins and forget about it.
413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: teach your children about bitcoin on: April 11, 2018, 10:38:55 PM
I think it is too early for a 10-year-old child to know about the mechanisms of working with bitcoin. He just does not need it, he will not begin to invest. Leave this information for a more mature age.
414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to your Bitcoin when you Die? on: April 11, 2018, 10:37:09 PM
I do not know what can happen to bitcoin, because I have not heard about such situations. Probably, this bitcoin is lost for the General society, as there is most likely no access to it, as few people trust someone with their keys.

418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I stop looking at Bitcoin Price on: April 11, 2018, 10:21:36 PM
To watch the price and to be nervous absolutely useless occupation. So I would also prefer to look as little as possible at  Blockfolio and keep an eye on the numbers.
