Are you interested in CSGO match predictors?
82  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You lose only if you sell on: July 22, 2017, 08:17:47 AM
Price has recovered from a big dip and then a big pump and now seems like we are in the clear. Bitcoin does go through changes like this quite frequently and even though I am a bit of an old timer, I still am afraid sometimes when prices go down that quickly.

If you hold for the long term, with the large coins usually it does come back up so you don't lose. Weak hands will sell early though.

Yeah, I do agree, in the whole Bitcoin and Ethereum have both turned out to net some profit, especially for the people who bought early and those who held for the long term have made profit.
83  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price Increasing today on: July 22, 2017, 08:01:16 AM
Bitcoin price is  Increasing today very rapidly and quickly. what happened ?
Is there any good news that make people buy again bitcoins.

I think it is the majority of vote for softfork, which make people think there will be no two chains and bitcoin price will go not to 4000$ and above.
Best time to buy cheap now.

Bitcoin fell as fast as it recovered. A lot of people were panic selling when Bitcoin started to drop and now it seems like people are more panic buying than selling. Looks like a lot of people are jumping on the bandwagon once again.

It has been 2 days and the price is still floating around the 2.7K to 2.8K mark, Bitcoin has once again gone through rapid changes within a weeks time and has stabilized at the end. This week was such a rollercoaster.
84  Economy / Speculation / Re: Worth investing as a student? on: July 22, 2017, 07:18:57 AM
Hey there. New to the BitcoinTalk forums, happy to be here Smiley

I'm a student in the UK. I get a few hundred in cash (£250ish) for Christmas + birthday money every year and was thinking about investing in Bitcoin. Would you say it is worth investing as a student, especially now with the market rising around BIP91? If so, how much would you recommend? And how much profit would I be able to make within half a year or so?

Maybe not invest, but just save those couple hundred pounds. It wouldn't be worth putting all of what you get into crypto since no one knows what might happen. The crypto world is very unstable and I wouldn't recommend going all in.

What I would recommend doing would make some money from this bitcoin thing, but without actually starting with an investment. What courses are you taking? Maybe some of those skills could be helpful to the community and you could charge Bitcoin for your services.

85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can bitcoin wallet be hacked by hackers? on: July 22, 2017, 07:08:42 AM
can they hack into our wallet. There are many professional hackers out there. What are the chances?

Well, if you are using a wallet which doesn't have 2 step, is online and has only one address it would be quite easy, but people who have that type of wallet are usually people who have less than a hundred in their wallet and for professional hacker, it wouldn't be work the time.

Also what is the safest way to safeguard yourself?

Well, here are some tips you can take into consideration in order to be safer with your wallet.

1. Use multiple addresses.
2. Consider cold storage.
3. Store your private keys safely.

86  Economy / Speculation / Re: Up Almost $1000 in One day? - How is this possible? on: July 22, 2017, 06:50:17 AM
This is completely insane, How can fluctuations like this be possible? It seems to me that people that bought high are now driving market to cover and pull out> Can anyone help me make sense of this, I'm a new member and I day trade stocks. But I cant make sense of this. Its like drunk gorillas hitting the buy button. And all this weeks from a possible split?

Well, what started this was the increasing amount of supporters and then people thought that Bitcoin wouldn't die and therefore bought up.
To understand how Bitcoin rose so much you first have to understand how bitcoin rises in price. When the demand for an item grows or if the supply of an item diminishes it would cause the item to rise in value. Since the supply didn't fall, therefore the only other option is that demand grew.
The reason why bitcoin rose so much was due to the snowball effect, when the price first rose by a hundred, people started to believe again and then after rising even further more people bought and now the price is pretty high.

I love the snowball effect.
87  Economy / Economics / Re: What do these new people getting rich off crypto mean to the economy at large? on: July 22, 2017, 06:24:50 AM
I apologize if this question is in any way naive.. I'm not really any kind of economics expert. I was just wondering what might happen to the world economy since there are so many new people getting rich off these cryptocurrencies... Just based off speculation or holding the right coins a lot of people have gained in wealth in the past years. And it doesn't seem to be slowing down.

So, you have a lot of 'new money' propagating even 'newer money'... and so on and so on, until a lot of people are pretty rich. Does this mean that there is a huge depression ahead of us? Surely just making more and more money can't go on forever, can it?

I'm sure I'm not seeing the big picture here so please, could someone explain it to me?

I think that not a lot of rich people have invested in Bitcoin, but people do become rich after investing in Bitcoin. After some research, I found that only 1 millionaire revealed that he had invested in Bitcoin. I think that Bitcoin provides an opportunity for someone to completely change their economic status without doing something illegal. Bitcoin is the red pill and you would think so if you have seen a number of millionaires Bitcoin has made.

Don't think huge depression will be ahead, only a select few members of the society has invested in bitcoin.

88  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: July 22, 2017, 06:17:00 AM
We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?

Of course, everything that has a value can be used in good and bad ways. Bitcoin is considered money so, therefore, it can be used to corrupt people. Also, since Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency, some people would also use Bitcoin as a form of avoiding tax. In some places, people would convert their fiat to crypto and since the government sees that they have no money, they won't tax him/her.

Corrupt people would also see Bitcoin as more useful than other online forms of payment since it is pretty anonymous, especially with the new influx of mixing services which help hide you even further.
89  Economy / Speculation / Re: WHEN will BTC rise again and WHY? on: July 22, 2017, 06:10:09 AM
Ive been watching the markets sence bitcoin was 150$/BTC, i have been promoting bitcoin and the use of it for a long time, but why should BTC ever rise again? There have been a peak thru overbuying and now somebody has to pay = coin value drop.

Hard fork, soft fork doesnt matter the value wont rise above 2k$ again?
It wasnt meant to?

I have not sold my Coins but i dont believe in 4-10-100 000$ /BTC

Well I may be a little late to the party, but I still feel like I could make a valuable contribution to the discussion.

Firstly, for the people who don't know the price of bitcoin is determined by a couple of things:
- Supply and demand
- Media attention
- The dark net

Bitcoin has already recovered and I think this is due to a couple of things:
- More supporters for segwit and the hard fork
- The snowball effect

These factors rose bitcoin by 800 overnight!
90  Economy / Services / Re: Searching someone for some jobs paid in Bitcoin on: July 22, 2017, 06:04:54 AM
Hi, I am searching someone to do some jobs for me, I will pay in Bitcoin, send your Skype in PM.

Please try to list what type of job you are looking for in the description of the thread that you post, a good example would say "Hello, I am looking for someone who is specialized in ___ and I will offer ____ amount for completion of this task. Then people who are specialized in that field would be interested and they will send you a pm and whatever you needed to be done would be done.

I am interested, please pm me details of the job and rates.

91  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best way to use Bitcoin in Trading? on: July 22, 2017, 04:13:51 AM
There are many ways to trade your bitcoins. For you what is the best?

Well, your question is pretty broad so I'll answer it on a wide range.

Using bitcoin for trading altcoins

If you are trading your bitcoin for altcoins especially before August the first to protect yourself, I would recommend depositing on Yobit, Polenix, or other exchanges to buy your coins off them. I wouldn't hold bitcoin on exchanges though since it would be unsafe.

Using Bitcoin for trading into Fiat

If you want to trade your bitcoin back to fiat or if you have earn't some and you are now trying to exchange I would recommend exchanging it on localbitcoins.com since it is reputable. Do not trade for paypal unless they are trusted since you may get chargebacked.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The superiority of Bitcoin on: July 21, 2017, 10:33:50 PM
Hey folks! I just wonder, what is with Bitcoin that until now it is still in it's peak and still unbeatable. Has not any one ever invented a new/other currency that matches the value of bitcoin? And if there would be What should it take for a new currency for instance to match the value level of bitcoin? Has anyone here ever thought that a new currency more superior than bitcoin could come out one day and bitcoin value would decrease or fall?

Bitcoin is on top, due to the large community behind it and this forum is an example. Since bitcoin is the most expensive crypto currency and has the best market cap, therefore it is hard for other crypto currencies to overtake bitcoin.
There are other alternatives such as Ethereum but bitcoin is more popular than that. Bitcoin also introduced blockchain technology and was the first decentralized crypto currency.
Some of the reason why bitcoin has such a supporting community
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which affects the btc price on: July 21, 2017, 10:27:59 PM
I just follow btc developments this month. I see every day btc price up and down. Which is my question, what are the factors that affect the rising price of the btc? Whether shareholders btc, altcoin, or btc users themselves? Huh Huh
Bitcoin is affected by:
- Supply and demand. When supply goes up, price goes down. When demand goes up, piece goes up. When supply goes down, prices go up. When demand goes down, prices go down.
- Recent news, events and media attention that bitcoin gets.
- The dark net, say if a site got shut down, it would impact price of bitcoin.
-Other alt coins.
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin market crash on: July 21, 2017, 12:13:28 PM
I'm just curious. What if bitcoin and any other alts market fall and you invested all your money into this. Would you rather do Panic Selling? and How would you compensate all your losses?
Seems to be FUD. I don't a bitcoin market crash will even be possible due to how invested everyone is. If a market crash was to happen to bitcoin then it would pretty much be the great depression again, since a lot of people have invested a lot of money in bitcoin and other altcoins.

This will never happen though unless some freak event happens or segwit fails miserably.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dark market double bubble on: July 21, 2017, 11:45:24 AM
Bitcoin is used for buying illegal stuff on the dark web no doubt but whenever one of these sites gets shut down a new one just pops up so I don't think that this will have much of a impact on the price of bitcoin since if so, it would already have.

If the entire dark net was shut down that would be different and there would be a dump in the price of bitcoin.
96  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: WTB!!! I am looking for scans or docs+selfie on: July 21, 2017, 08:24:36 AM
To whoever is reading this,

I wouldn't recommend working with this person, she wants your id, and if you do give your ID to her, it would be a case of identity theft and who knows what she will do with your id. OP is also a newbie, and has no trust which means she may scam you, and I would recommend when doing trade with her, use an escrow.
97  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: SPOTIFY PREMIUM/PANDORA 0.0007BTC/ACCOUNT! on: July 21, 2017, 03:36:50 AM
Snip

You're obviously being gripped emotionally. Please keep this in PMs, Anegg. No one wants to see you cry.

Aw, It's alright, thanks for the support. 😭😭😭
98  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: SPOTIFY PREMIUM/PANDORA 0.0007BTC/ACCOUNT! on: July 21, 2017, 03:25:57 AM
It looks like your just making snide comments at an attempt to put me down and cover up you actually have no argument. I like your snipping which shows how professional you are  Wink
Hot damn, someone's mad.

So you have no valid arguments to put forward, so you want to attack my grammar. Wow, I got roasted!

I am mad, I am trying to build up trust and you just attack me and the person who made this thread.

I'm saying you're untrusted. You have no rep. No trade history. You even have a long period of inactivity in your history. What does that really say? You tell me what more your word does compared to Aveatrex's.
It means I had to take a break from the forum due to personal issues. I am not saying my word means anything when did I say that.

The way you build up trust is by contributing to the community and being active. Not by vouching for free accounts.
Never said vouching for stuff would give me good rep.

I'm just putting this out there. As time goes on, more people go up the ranks. The top gets more and more crowded. It's harder to trust senior members now compared to two years ago.
I understand.

I haven't pulled an scams

Ermahgah you misspelt any Shocked

If you want to take this personally, take it to the PMs.
Crap, I've been foiled

So, does this work for Australia? I'm not at home ATM so I can't actually ask for you to send me any, but I'll be back in a couple of days Smiley

If possible, I'm really interested to see how it works, as I, along with everybody else here, am quite confused as to how you can get such a deal. Mind shooting me a pm with how you.do it? If it's legit, I can vouch for you.

Are you willing to give a vouch copy?

One big question I have is whether or not the phone numbers are unique per customer. Some people can reuse phone numbers, and especially for things like CSGO prime, someone could hack and Valve would ban my account too.
You have vouched for heaps of people, and I am sure that you have vouched when you didn't have trust.
99  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: SPOTIFY PREMIUM/PANDORA 0.0007BTC/ACCOUNT! on: July 21, 2017, 02:51:15 AM
Not sure why you guys give vouch copies to untrusted senior members. Over time, more people move up the ranks and more untrustable people get up.

What do you mean more untrustable people get up? Pretty sure untrustable isn't an actual word, I think the word you are looking for there is "untrustworthy"
I am not trustworthy, but that does not means that I am untrustworthy, I am sure for whatever that I have seemed to have done to get on your nerves, but I am trying to help people who seem to be trying to starting a small business. You are the type of person who tries to prevent people from making buisness and tries to prevent untrusted people to become trusted. I am trying to build up trust, and I haven't pulled an scams, so why are you trying to put me and Aveatrex down.

Stop abusing your position.
