41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Encouraging people to adopt Bitcoin. on: March 21, 2016, 11:18:03 PM
You can gauge if people are open to bitcoin by seeing how active they are online. You can drop it into conversation and see if it sticks or interest perks up. Would pass on most people over 35 due to the ones interested are mostly here or not going to take it up with out mass adoption from the hip kids.
42  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think about 9/11 mystery? on: March 20, 2016, 07:32:09 PM
Problem with conspiracy theories is you start to see them everywhere and Alex Jones is a prime example of that.
I used to listen to his podcast and found myself getting more irate and irritable, with each week.
The people that call in are a good representation of downtrodden folks looking for a reason why life has held them back.
Its kind of sad when you listen to them go on and on about stuff to get praise from Alex.

9/11 created a whole wack of conspiracy nuts and I think its due to how unbelievable that the event happened so close to home for a majority of us. So we look to rationalize what went down, recall watching the plane like it was die hard movie over and over. The reason behind it will never really be known, look at JFK and how they still ponder that.
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: March 20, 2016, 07:27:31 PM
Gambling is risky game of money from which most people lose and just a few wins. Gambling too is addictive and fun especially when you're winning and that's why most people can't get away from gambling once they get in it.
In gambling you only win from the start then you lose whenever you win a certain amount.

Gambling is a sickness when it turns into a addiction but most things can turn into addiction with enough repetition.
It hardwires the brain making the pathway stronger from usage. The only reason gambling is classified differently than breathing in and out is because currency is involved.

The amount of gambling threads most likely started by 17-25 year olds is actually proof of science. That is the prime age to get some one addicted to gambling for life. The brain is still getting its final tweaks and its a impressionable time.

HEY NITROGEN... I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE A BIG FUCK YOU.... YOU FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT.

They banned user 425 for no reason.... this guy gambled 300 btc lifetime and gets 24 hour ban from chat cus the chat admins and mods are incoherent.
425 is causing problems once every while and going broke and flaming the place, mods are very friendly to him and don't ban him for most of the time but I guess he/she overdid it this time.

No idea why people give him money,he loses it and cries for more. If he does not get it he spits on anyone, even the people that gave him money.
Was it not last December he threatened suicide to get money,as a customer I get tired of reading his garbage just like tennischamp.

NO such thing, they all have killed for the cause and will continue to rot the brains of people looking for a easier path.
46  Other / Politics & Society / Re: GAWKER must pay $115mm to Hulk Hogan. on: March 20, 2016, 06:36:23 PM
The whole idea of people getting off on celebrities doing anything is gross, look at all the crap sites and tv shows that spend hours gossiping about the daily stars.
Its always the same stance like they are worried they are going to lose street cred by taking the stuff down. Guess they showed Hulkster! Cool
47  Other / Off-topic / Re: Poll: Which religion is the best religion? on: March 20, 2016, 06:32:12 PM
The best religion is the one that allows you to have free thought and expression without guidelines. Let me know if you found one that fits that fold and I will take a look into it.

What happened to that Jedi religion?

50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: March 18, 2016, 09:37:33 PM
Bitcoin can change the way banks do business but it will not replace a finely established system that so many are used to dealing with.
If you put bitcoin next to a copy of bitcoin that the banks are pushing, the public would choose the bank copy all day long.

52  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: March 18, 2016, 09:33:58 PM
Gold is in a real odd spot right now and I find it hard to gauge where it will be in say 10 years. The whole aspect of gold going up when times get rough in the market seem to have disconnected. India is sitting on a ton of gold and is slowly encouraging people to give it up.

Bitcoin could be replaced by a better idea, technology is changing rapidly and it makes me feel sorry for old people learning something to find out its out of date tomorrow. Read somewhere we take in more info in one day then our ancestors took in a life time. So bitcoin
could go the way of the dodo as well.

Think if I wanted something with a twist of the arm I would go with gold because I do not think it can fluctuate as much as bitcoin could in a bad time.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just invested 300 BTC and 10M NXT in Cell 411 on: March 18, 2016, 09:27:45 PM
Police in certain areas come with a double edged sword, one minute they are there to help, the next minute they are busting you for some infraction they came across well helping you out. The law is usually the heavy for the government and once you cross the line you will feel the full force of that power. Having another option is a great way to reign in corrupt establishments.
Great idea, one hell of a investment though!
54  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Burningman App - from Steps to Bitcoins on: March 18, 2016, 09:22:31 PM
Look forward to a andriod version as I usually get a good amount of walking in a day and would love to profit as incentive to push me on it. Hope you pick up some sponsers as this idea is something I could see ballooning up in a positive way for you. Good luck.

dont bother replying with your opinion, your entitled to it, but its not my concern

it really is the blind leading the blind, fact of the matter remains my hardware related post should be on the hardware board and not the altcoin board hardware is hardware and software is software end of story, and dont worry i wont bother posting any future potential help for others, now i know its not welcome, thanks for showing me the reality of crypto users, i shall say you's have made an impression at least

You have a perception and are looking to reinforce it and this is really a self fulfilling prophecy.
If you where looking for pats on the back for being a good person and helping people, you are doing it for the wrong reasons.

Can not expect to make a thread like this and have everyone nod their heads in agreement with you, life is not like that.
Seems like a over reaction to a thread being mislabeled in your eyes, maybe something else you want to get off the chest before you wrap things up.
56  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Video: If The World Were 100 People | GOOD Data on: March 18, 2016, 09:10:54 PM
The worst part about watching that is the same people get the shitty end of the stick in most of the facts they broke down.
Interesting seeing the language break down and $90 a day is considered the 1% or did I miss a stat there?

Nice video LiteCoinguy
57  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [BTCJACK.COM] Awarding 100k satosho to ten people on: March 18, 2016, 08:59:44 PM
Stay away from this guy,he is stealing peoples affiliates through offering freerolls,it creates more multiaccounts on the sites and is bad for the game. Contact the sites let them know this guy is robbing us of our own affiliate payments.

IF YOU ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT AT ANY OF THESE CASINO ROOMS YOU ARE NOT ELIGABLE FOR THIS PROMO
ONLY OPEN TO NEW PLAYERS AND NEW ACCOUNTS

So stating this allows you to ignore that its happening? Shocked sites allow you to run them through the mud like this.
One you are pissing on people that built up affiliates and two you are encouraging people to set up new accounts under your affiliate link so they can play in a tourney.
40 players in Nitros freeroll you had when the top amount for Mondays Nitro freeroll is usually 180 and thats with multis.
So you are expecting me to believe you got 40 players in a small bitcoin poker community that never played on these sites?
Its pretty clear you are endorsing scammers and its crumbling the poker scene because you are creating multi account issues on all of these sites. Well done. Cry
58  Other / Off-topic / Re: TV Series Recommendations... on: March 18, 2016, 08:49:04 PM
Anyone have a link to watch Game of thrones Season one and two, feel like having a binge watch of something worth well.
So far the sites I check are only holding stuff I have seen.
59  Economy / Economics / Re: Distribution of bitcoin wealth by owner on: March 18, 2016, 08:46:28 PM
I see in the starting post there was only one person (Satoshi) in the 100K - 21Mill and flashing forward to today there are three.
Any idea who the other 2 are or is that still unknown aspect. My guess is Winklevoss twins but do not think they bought this much.
Really had no idea there was so little people actually entrenched in bitcoin, interesting to see the ladder.
60  Other / Meta / Re: this site is a joke and not evenb a funny one, sort your mods out, educate them on: March 18, 2016, 08:37:00 PM
Hard to take seriously when the title seems like a freak out in its self. Thing you need to realize is no one is going to take you seriously once the emotion has hit a peak, rational thinking is usually dormant by that point.

You are not the only person that feels this way but quite a lot of the time the people starting these threads are choosing a weak issue to jump off from.
