SRBMiner now supports 'blake3_alephium' algorithm for CPU/GPU mining!

You can dual mine with any other algorithm.
Good combinations would be ETH+ALPH or ETC+ALPH

Hi Doc. I tried ETC+ALPH with my old RX470 4G cards on SRBMiner, having hard time to find intensity. ETC hashrate dropping dramaticaly to 1mhs but blake3 speed is good, is there anyone find good number for intensity? Thanks

You cant mine ETC from 4GB card anymore

Getting things back up online, as a few persons kept the coin alive while I was away.

The main node : [Suspicious link removed]:9111

A new wallet with updated seed nodes and new checkpoint is coming soon. Only an update, not an upgrade. Will be version 9.2.0 .

I will put back online a website, a pool, and an explorer.

Will also upload a recent bootstrap so that syncing is faster.

I lost the domain lightning-cash.com, so for now the main seed node and website and all will be on [Suspicious link removed]

Thanks for everyone for the support !

Pool and Block explorer both are down

What is Kaspa?

The story of Kaspa

Kaspa is a proof-of-work cryptocurrency which implements the GHOSTDAG protocol. Unlike traditional blockchains, GHOSTDAG does not orphan blocks created in parallel, rather allows them to coexist and orders them in consensus. Whereby our blockchain is actually a blockDAG; you can see GHOSTDAG in action in a real time blockDAG visualizer). This generalization of Nakamoto consensus allows for secure operation while maintaining very high block rates (currently one block per second, aiming for 10/sec, dreaming of 100/sec) and minuscule confirmation times dominated by internet latency (cf. chapter 6 of the the paper for some initial benchmarks). The Kaspa implementation includes a lot of cool features and subprotocols including Reachability to query the DAG's topology, Block data pruning (with near-future plans for block header pruning), SPV proofs, and later subnetwork support which will make future implementation of layer 2 solutions much easier.

Kaspa is a community project, completely open source, no central governance, no biz model. Think Bitcoin, Litecoin, Monero, Grin, Kaspa. The mainnet was openly launched without premining or any other preallocation of coins.

Circcash

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5290467.0

GPU minable
low difficulty
No ASIC

It may be a good option but its not listed on any exchange. Thats where the whole story stands, you need to invest your trust and efforts in a token thats not listed. Once listed it goes too high and complexity goes up.
it is....

Thanks.

Scrypt8K is the usage of the scrypt hashing algorithm with the variables N, r, and p set to 8192, 8, and 1 respectively.

Thanks for the info.

I'm not very familair with the scrypt code but I took a look. Based on the name of the function
"scrypt_1024_1_1_256" I assume those are the parameters N, r, p & hashsize. 1024 is the default
N but can be changed from the command line. I found no mention of r or p paramenetrs in the code
so I assume they are hardcoded at 1, as implied by the naming of the function..

This would suggest that "-a scrypt:8192" won't work for scrypt8k. Have you tried?
i got something regarding N, r, and p

Try -a scrypt:8192

If that doesn't work, it's a custom version of scrypt which would be too much work.

Hey folks,

I've added the Lyra2V3 Port (5778) on

https://vtc.suprnova.cc

now as well, you must switch over to the new port with new miners once block 1080000 is reached.

Cpuminer is here:
https://github.com/tpruvot/cpuminer-multi

And GPU miner here:
https://github.com/vertcoin-project/ccminer-lyra2rev3

Have fun !

Thx ocminer  Smiley

is there an AMD miner ?
