581  Economy / Speculation / Re: ETF approving in August, how much will affect the price? on: July 20, 2018, 12:08:26 PM
I do not care if it gets approved or not. The important news bit here is that it is being tried relentlessly by those people who wants millionaires in this space. If we can get people who are millionaires and billionaires into crypto space they will not buy 1 bitcoin, they will try to buy as many as they want which
probably be like at least %1 of their portfolio. That can be billions of dollars poured into this. Even if it gets disapproved in the end it will be tried again and again until it succeeds and one day we will have a huge spike the likes we have never seen before.
582  Economy / Economics / Re: The HODL strategy is not actual on: July 20, 2018, 11:49:55 AM
"hodl"ing is still better than selling and buying to make a virtual demand whereas you are trying to make money off fiat exchange rate.
Bitcoin is suppose to be a currency itself instead you guys are trying to figure out what strategy is the best when it comes down to holding or selling. I rather use it like earn my bitcoins doing some work and than spend that bitcoin that I earned for something I want. Just like how you use dollars or euroes, I use bitcoin. Most recently I paid my trip from expedia with bitcoin.
583  Economy / Economics / Re: Why all people moan about the price of bitcoin? on: July 20, 2018, 11:38:33 AM
Because they misunderstood what bitcoin is. Bitcoin is not a way to make money. Bitcoin was not originally created so you can buy low and sell high and make profit. That so moronic that I can't believe crypto turned out like this. The whole purpose of crypto currency was to destroy fiat currencies and actually make a currency that people use themselves. It did had a price because you need to exchange your dollars to bitcoin to start but it wasn't a day trading commodity.
584  Economy / Economics / Re: How will crypto go long term? on: July 20, 2018, 10:34:33 AM
User count is very important and probably one of the most important parts of growing bitcoin but we also need real life useability. Like if we could pay with crypto on more and more places
in the future that would increase both the price and the user amount of bitcoin. Currently we have more places to spend crypto than ever but we need even more, we need to make it as common as paying it with debit card or at least make it closer to it. Without that, we are not going to have full on crypto usage in the world.
585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how long you can stay without gambling? on: July 20, 2018, 10:14:36 AM
Depends on my personal life honestly. If I can find something I can spend time on and just have fun than I do not need to gamble at all.
Also it depends on the new casinos thats popping up as well. Because if I am having fun myself without need of a casino or there is no new casino coming out than I can find something else to do. However if I am bored to death and there is a new casino out there promising looking than I may have to give it a go Cheesy
586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know its time to Stop? on: July 20, 2018, 10:06:04 AM
I always start with a certain set amount and play until either thats gone or play until I am bored. For example if I start the game with 50$ to gamble and I end up finishing all of that before I got bored than I stop nevertheless, not try to recoup that at all. Usually I play like something smaller than 10 cents or so each bet so whenever I lose my money I only lose a small fraction of it and it takes a lot of time to lose all of it at which time I get bored anyway.
587  Economy / Speculation / Re: discuss the market? on: July 20, 2018, 09:40:01 AM
Prices in the market always change according to market conditions. At the time the price goes down, there is a momentum that indicates the potential price will rise.

Well, in the short term, I agree with you that the momentum presently is tending towards some short rise, but I would not really count much on it until we get to break out from the downtrend.
However, I still believe there would be some further downward movement before then and with that, we may see some volume setting in and giving us some breathing space from the downtrend at least for the mean time. I guess by this week which also signifies the end of June; we will get to see how things will end up.
588  Economy / Speculation / Re: I sold off all my Bitcoin today, and you should, too. on: July 20, 2018, 09:28:59 AM
no I do not sell all the bitcoin I have today because it is a very sloppy and stupid act because bitcoin prices are still very cheap and I'm sure you sell when you panic because the bitcoin price falls, you should not do such a thing.

Anyone selling now should better have a good reason to be selling because if it is as a result of panic, they are really going to be making a terribly huge mistake. This market is for sure not going to keep going down immediately and it would still try to form a lower high as the case may be. Not having the knowledge as a trader would put anyone who did not sell at the top, to enter a state of panic selling now when the market recovers a little bit to the upper side.
589  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going down on: July 19, 2018, 12:53:41 PM
The web is full of shit spreading non-stop FUD's I wish they would realize how bitcoin was more useful than them Grin. Just get ready for in the incoming storm of bullshitery this year. FUD's might stop if we somehow counter it with the help of others to create the greatest price bitcoin has never reached!

Lol. FUD will never stop and it is highly normal for a speculative market. I do not see how this is a problem anyway because with or without FUD, the market will still do its thing but psychologically, we all know how people tend to drift quickly when situations are changing.
Bitcoin going down is not a problem though except for those who want to see it as a problem, it is just an opportunity to buy more as the case may be and that for me is something to look forward to.
590  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think there is institutional manipulation of the Bitcoin price? on: July 19, 2018, 12:36:24 PM
I think price manipulation can be happen if some one or some institution holding a lot bitcoin. Its hard to make manipulation in bitcoin trade because anyone can make transaction. News about price manipulation maybe just a manipulation from big firm to buying bitcoin at cheap price

Yeah, and it would not be that hard if there are group of whales doing so. It is always called rinse and repeat which they will keep making shit load of money from it and that keeps giving them a huge edge in the market even as things go on.
However, everything that is happening is just some form of emotional manipulation where you get to give people the impression that the market is mooning after loading up as a whale at the bottom, until you offload at the top, do the same process back down and the cycle keeps repeating itself.
591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin correction today is healthy! on: July 18, 2018, 11:27:32 AM
Adjusting prices has increased me even more, as the ongoing price drop has made many people depressed, so it would not be good for us to invest in them now.

What is the essence of getting depressed ?
It is the market and it would only affect those who want it to affect them psychologically.
Moments like this are something we just cannot stop seeing every once in a while but as far as I am concerned, all we have to do is to be patient, buy more at the dip and look forward to the long term than trying to play some depressive emotions. It is what it is, and for one fact, I see it as an opportunity to buy low.
592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Predicting a real rise in 2nd half of 2018 on: July 18, 2018, 11:14:34 AM
I've seen many threads asking whether there won't be any bull run in 2018, when the right time to buy, predictions for two years...

I really think that we're heading to a trend reversal in the next weeks and months. I agree that the market was totally overbought on January, but I think too that it's oversold right now. So many dumpers have been selling low their coins to whales and they're so concentrated right now, that in any moment they will trigger the market with a big green dildo or some really bullish news and everyone will go on a frenzy like last year's FOMO.

Just take a look at the distribution of the coins: https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-bitcoin-addresses.html

For example, for Bitcoin, the 90% of all the addresses hold nowadays just the 3% of all the coins. Another fact is that almost 90% of the Bitcoins are in addresses of 10 or more BTCs, and these real sharks/whales with 100+ BTCs are accumulating more and more.

Is everybody selling out on fear of cryptos going to zero and not realising that now is the moment to buy and not to sell?

What do you think? Do you agree with the predictions?

It is likely possible as second half of 2018 anyway encompasses the last month of the year which is believed by many to come with some pretty good move to the upper side.

However, it is still too early to start judging how things would know the state of the market, and it is better to just simply relax for it and wait for the best moment before eventually getting too optimistic for nothing. In the long term, I believe in the value increase but in the short term, I stay in between.
593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why listing on kucoin is worst idea on: July 18, 2018, 11:04:52 AM
I do not think this is correct, you cannot single out kucoin here as well, it is just the bear market that is causing the dumps, just check all the ico tokens that were trading on idex in last few months, all are trading like 50-80% below ico prices, so dump has nothing to do with any specific exchange it is due to low volume and interest in market at the moment, i hope volume will be back soon and we will cross 1000 B market cap this year.

Yes, CBC got listed on bittrex few weeks ago and it got dumped. PundiX got listed on binance few weeks ago and it also got dumped, as well as any other market and any other new token, and I do not know why the OP would have singled out KUCOIN and giving something he cannot even show proof for.

The market is in a huge downtrend and it is normal to see markets take a dip in moments like this, which we all just have to live with.
594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The consequences of gambling on: July 14, 2018, 06:04:22 AM
unfortunately, even though there have been such memorials and all of them the gamblers have actually understood, but they are still playing. Why? because of one ambition they always believe in, they will play until they get the biggest win then they can stop.

People tend to take risks for something that looks easier to get, especially when dealing with money. Gambling for some people is an easy way to earn money without having to work hard. But of course, the risks will be very high and most will fail in this type of business. But again, the promises that gambling give, seem to be more attractive than the risks that may come and that's why people keep on trying.
In my opinion bad thing has bad consequences, and gambling is the worst thing in this world. Everyone knows the consequences of gambling but the problem is that regular and addicted gamblers cannot quit gambling easily and finally they lose everything and even goes in debts. If you face such situation it means that you have finished your life.
595  Economy / Speculation / Re: When to buy more? wait till 6000 or 5500? on: July 14, 2018, 05:53:44 AM
I think $5500 - $6000 is the range to buy BTC at this time. BTC is having greater fluctuations. India's RBI has told all the banking institutes not to deal with crypto exchanges which will decline the number of daily traders greatly. We may see a dump near to July 6th and that would be a best time to buy more.
Technical analysis is important before taking buying decisions. It will help you to take the right decision at the right time. If you realize that the price will drop more then you should for some time and when it hits your desired level then you can invest in it, but if you not sure about the coming situation then buying today will be worthiest decision.
596  Economy / Speculation / Re: discuss the market? on: July 14, 2018, 05:41:06 AM
No body can predict the market in accurate, but by look in to price of BTC that going down already 1/3 from highest price in januari and some altcoin also hard dumped up to 1/10 , and this mean the price of crypto on overbought already. This situation make all price of crypto is cheap and will be more buyer come in to market because they will thinking will be more easy to gain multiple profit because the price in the bottom already.
Huge dump in the price was good for new investors. They found a chance to buy bitcoin and Altcoin on much cheaper price. Imagine if the price grew continuously and today it was about $25000 how many new investors will put their money in bitcoin? In such a big price the profit margin would reduce and nobody will invest in bitcoin. They will prefer low price coins.
597  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Whats your favorite game? on: July 14, 2018, 05:26:13 AM
I prefer anything with a high risk high reward.  Small pots don't excite me much so I like to bet on anything with very large odds.

I started with games like blackjack, poker, etc. But now I enjoy betting on sports the most.  I've always been a big sports fan and I can use my knowledge I've gained from years of spectating.
I like to play gambling with cards and dice. As I am not regular gambler therefore I don’t know much methods of gambling. I think that cards and mostly dice game which is called as children game is much easier than any other game. I never think of losing and winnings because I never use gambling for making money.  Just gamble for fun and that’s all.
598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What currencies do you gamble with? on: July 13, 2018, 04:59:30 PM
The most known and used on gambling sites:

- Bitcoin
- Litecoin
- Ethereum

Glad those are at this List's TOP 3 Cheesy

Let's see if some other might have some big voting %.

Altough on https://coinmarketcap.com/ it's:

- Bitcoin
- Ethereum
- Ripple

although this is the most known and used on gambling sites, I won't choose that coins for a bet. I prefer with dogecoin, reddcoin and maybe verge because this 3 coin is really cheap to buy and if I buy with only 0.01 btc for each coin, I can get a lot of amount of each coin. besides that, with this 3 coins, I can spend many times in the games but I don't want to gamble all day long because this is not good for me.

I understand but do you read their white papers? You have to wonder if they will still be stable in a long run off course or lose their value.
For example verge has parternship with PornHub but that backfired them in a certain way cause People were expecting something else.
Still coin's value isnt much higher as it was expected.
I always gamble with my local currency because I think that crypto currency is a source of income and gambling is a source of losing money. That’s why I never use my crypto in gambling. I don’t want to lose my business in gambling. If I lose cash money I can earn more from crypto but If I lose crypto my earning source will be finished and I will not be able to make money.
599  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I buy the current ICO? on: July 13, 2018, 04:43:30 PM
i think investing on ico's is not worth it right now its better to buy it off an exchange after its release because you would save alot than buying on ico because alot of people will dump their coins after the exchange especially if the project have bounty program.

I agree many of best promising ICO is nearly 1/3 of their ICO prices. There are also some difficulties about listing at centralized exchange nowadays because of SEC. And at the decentralized exchange, the price can be very volatile especially after ICO

Yeah it is right; I think nobody should invest in ICOs because of worthless. When it is added in the exchange then you can buy them but before the exchange on never try to invest in ICO because of scams and if it authentic stills it is not secure for investment. You cannot trade in it. You can just buy and hold it for long time. Better to invest in exchangeable coins.
600  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where can I buy a car with bitcoin? on: July 13, 2018, 03:50:16 PM

Hello you can buy and sell in bitcoin here : https://buysellcarwithbitcoin.com/
You can buy a car from your local showroom if you didn’t find any online supplier who accepts bitcoin as their payments. It will be easy for you and also good because if there is any problem in the car you can complaint easily. If you buy Amazon like company you will never claim it. Buying a car is not a problem; problem is earning money and if you have made profit from your holding then using it is very easy.
