If the list is anything like the rest of the old GLBSE operation, I would imagine it's a horrible mess. Take your time, and I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say "You've done a great job handling this".

Submitted my claim, simple... and hopefully effective.

One thing is sure... nefarios public relations are horrible in this case and is hurting him more than necessary. And thats stupid.
Another thing for sure, this is the fastest anyone has ever seen the GLBSE site load.

I just read this thread beginning to end, and although the kid made a BIG mistake (Paypal), it's really quite remarkable how this thing turned out. This summer has been a gong show of scams and failures. I'm happy to see someone, finally 'fessing up and working to right the wrongs they've committed.
Good on "TheBitman" for working to make things right.

Coinbase seems to be a blockchain.info clone (or hybrid of Blockchain and BitInstant), so maybe they'll clone that feature too Coinbase is a Flexcoin clone that doesn't have Flexcoin's interest. Flexcoin offers interest? Please excuse my momentary threadjacking We distribute 70% of collected fees to users with account balances (Greater than 0.00000000). The 70% of fees are divided proportionally to your account balance. We will be moving to a fixed interest system in the near future to simplify both the payouts, AND the explanation You may now return to your regularly scheduled SatoshiDICE IPO thread

Bitcrate will probably not be paying out for a couple days, as we're expecting our first child *very* soon. As a result, I'm kind of busy with more pressing matters.

if you dont know why you need this dont use it
This could be the single greatest piece of advice I've ever seen on this forum.

I retract my statement, It's NOT a scam
Sorry, I jumped to the wrong conclusion. It just takes longer than expected.
I really liked the big red letters, added a certain "conviction" to what you were saying. We all make mistakes.

Thanks to a rather generous donor, we should be able to keep rolling for a few days here. I'll still be rationing the coins though!

Every single one of these sites is fake. Do not use
Fake in what way? Lol I use them everyday and, if they are not empty or temporarily down for some reason, I get a small amount of bitcoins showing up in my wallet. If you have had a problem with any of them you will need to be more specific about what you encountered. If a site shuts down or stops giving away "free" bitcoins the OP will be updated to show this. Don't listen to this guy, the sites do not give you anything for free. For a fake site, my donation address sure does a fair amount of paying out. So that's my proof that it's not fake. Where's your proof that it is?

Bitcrate is still empty after a few days.
Aaron
Now it's got a little bit in it. It will most likely all be gone by the time you read this message.

Since that is the case, I do have to humbly apologize for my error. The caveat being that if I do re-find that phantom missing link, I will take back said apology.
Accepted, you're free to change your mind at any time. That said, I do have issues with Flexcoin, albeit minor, and will present information shortly about the previous owner, but in no way (I hope) to diss him/them--just provide information.
In closing, with respect, later, bud.
~Bruno~
Sounds good.

I'm 52-years-old and still playing with a full deck. I haven't lost it--yet!
I don't believe James Gray is in Texas, but I did accuse him of using that Katy address. It took me about 10 minutes to properly link to it, but worked over 5 hours last night trying to recreate those steps to no avail. An apology in that regard may be in order, but not yet. I'm not afraid to admit my mistakes.
Bruno, I'm going to save you some time. The reason you can't recreate the steps, is that there is some flaw in the steps! I've never been to Texas! What I find amazing is that there are three James Gray guys that are all Bitcoiners: Canada, Texas and UK. I squarely placed our JG in Texas but am missing the one definitive link I had prior to making my post above. And my Google history is not helping any. I'm pretty sure it had to do with a phone number > another phone number/name > to the Texas address.
There's 15.4Million results for "James Gray" on google and "James" is the 15th most popular baby name in 2012. So really 3 people using Bitcoin with this incredibly common name, is pretty... well... likely. With Bitcoin's continued upward trend of popularity, it might grow to 4 "James Gray"s before you know it!

James Gray... hmm, there's also a James Dorian in this world: http://www.linkedin.com/pub/james-dorian/13/561/a50 Its the bridge to: Dorian Grey! You must have super powers!!! But James, having a completely different name that sounds like a real name is a little bit sketchy -- even worse then a "handle" IMHO. Time to drop that name here. I'd recommend you do what other companies do & post your real name, address, and bio (aka resume) on your new company web site. PS: Good luck with your new venture!!! During the interim, I have traced back the source of Flexcoin's original owner to a name once discussed as being Satoshi Nakamoto. (hint: karmabank)~Bruno~ So, are you saying that I'm in Texas right now?

And Bitcrate gives this message right now: We are either processing payouts or out of Bitcoins to give out. We'll be back shortly with more free BTC! It's hard to keep up with demand without overflowing the site with ads. As a result, we're on and off. I limit each "on" rotation by the amount of coins we currently have in stock. I update the twitter feed whenever we have more coins.
