I think fiat and other currencies are used for illegal activities as well and not only Bitcoin
So that's not a negative feature of Bitcoin in my opinion

if we all die in the WW III bitcoin will die because there will be no one left to use it also if have like anuclear exploision it will frie all the electronic stuff so we won't have no electricity or internet again bitcoin dies
The main issue is the electricity and the internet service, because Bitcoin is dependent in this two elements to survive, however i don't think that all the humanity will die even if WW III happen because it will finish with a gainer anyway |

A good way to get some coins is joining IRC channels that rain altcoins, then sell them for BTC. Usually it is a little faster than faucets. You can also just hold/stake the coins you get.
I agree with you about holding the coins as a working method to make some earning, but about the altcoins are you meaning trading ? if it's the case, i think it's a little bit risked unless you have good experience about it |

I would think everybody who believes in the future of bitcoin will hold their coins even if there was a significant price increase. People tend to see the bump up in price then say to themselves "It will go up again tomorrow, will wait to see it go up even further!"
This is a loop that will go on forever.

I use more than wallet usually to store my bitcoins, i use blockchain, Pc wallet and also Coinbase wallet. But i think that the safest method is to store bitcoins with your owned wallet with the secured private key

Starting off, faucets is always pretty useful, except you can't make a lot of money. Signing up with a signature campaign is also pretty useful, and trustworthy.
Faucets is useful for starters with Bitcoin's world only if you have good number of active referrals there, otherwise it's worthless in my opinion because it consume a lot of time and effort. |
