If you can't sign a message from your old address you can just send a transaction maybe to prove that you are still in hold of the address. Btw, don't you have any addresses beside the one you have in blockchain? If not I suggest use a different wallet because signing message will really help you out here in the future.

You said u switched to the new beta blockchain, so show me a txid of a transaction that moved the funds from the old address posted to the new address in the blockchain beta and then sign a message with the new address.
