Same problem as when I tried uploading a gif avatar before. It didn't also worked for me, it was uploaded but the gif is not moving.
Because AFAIK animated gifs aren't supported/allowed anymore. Those you see around have uploaded their animated avatar ages ago. Static gifs however aren't a problem at all, as my avatar shows.
A quick forum search revealed the following: Old account (i.e ~2-3 years old ) were allowed [animated] gif avatars.But now it is not allowed not any member rank but still some old accounts have their [animated] gif avatar as their account avatar and is pretty in demand as now it is not allowed and user find [animated] gif avatars more attractive so it does make sense.If you try to put up an [animated] gif avatar it will refuse up and ask you to put up a .png or .jpeg or any non-animated [gif] avatar.

Select the avatar you want to upload. It must be no more than 120px wide, 80px tall, and 100 KiB in size. It must be a PNG, GIF, or JPEG image. It must be safe for work. To remove your avatar, submit this form without choosing any file to upload. but when im upload GIF it wont showing anything ,, can someone tell me how to use GIF avatar ? |

when everyone screams Sell, it's a great time to buy. So buy and hold the bitcoins for somelong. buy bitcoins and put it into coldstorage and stay away from gambling , hyip or any investment , it will be worth for next years |
