I smell a taste for the unusual, the big sharks are lurking.
What you mean.. can't a shark lurk in peace anymore.

Guy's if you fellas could assist in just sending an e-mail through to the e-mail address above, hopefully we can get the 1st post updated soon. Come on guys, let's get this done. It's time for Vert to take off, but it is only the doings of our community that can make this happen. Thank you to Poramin, James, Andrew..and all the others working behind the scenes to better our lives and future. If you may have some coins to spare, than be sure to consider making a contribution to the dev fund: VpBsRnN749jYHE9hT8dZreznHfmFMdE1yG

Haha, Lekker man So, you've been in these parts for quite some time? Why don't you communicate on carb regarding crypto:P Are you still in the mining game? Have replied via PM. a new version based on the latest sgminer5 version is coming, these problems should be fixed (can't test it though, I have only one amd card)
djm34, could you please work with Slix (ystarnaud) to include Lyra2RE into https://github.com/sgminer-dev/sgminer once is stable? ok, will do This is great to hear, good stuff guys! Hello
Somebody asked yesterday if Vertigo - Vertcoin Lightweight Wallet will be updated for the Vertcoin fork.
Vertigo is going to be updated to the recent Vertcoin fork.
However some technical information details for implementation is needed to know, what needs to be updated, implemented to make the update.
Could somebody from Vertcoin developers provide details about the fork what needs to be updated and or possibly provide updated VertcoinJ library, please?
PS: VertcoinJ library is also used in Android Wallet.
Regards
More great news, hope to see this happen. Keep it up

Here's the big test I promised.... The last question is: Will I turn on the radiator this winter? Yes, you came through on that promise! Thanks a lot man. Let us know if you turn the radiator on. great to see how this forum changed from a investors/speculators forum to a miners forum waiting for lyra2RE ! How cool is that! ..but makes me wonder..what do we do with the big Vertcoin settings thread over here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=416572.0I hope theres not lurkers over there wondering what's going on. Best to ensure we are all on the same page as a community, especially in this critical changeover period. And also, we can never forget the wise words bestowed upon us by Vertan the great: Image(sfw)Dude, hey Pansy from carbonite Holy science! What the flying spaghetti monsta! And they saidz the internetz wasn'ts a small place.. What's up buddo!

Not sure if this is tripping any of you guys up but xintensity 64 for a 290x is not the same as xintensity 64 for a 280x or even a 290. xintensity is a multiple of shaders your card has.
For example a 290x at xintensity 64 is 2816*64 = 180224 raw intensity which is close to an intensity of 17.45 (2^17.45 = 179049) a 290 at xintensity 64 is 2560*64 = 163840 raw intensity which is close to an intensity of 17.32 (2^17.32 = 163621)
Not much of a difference between a 290x and a 290 but with a 7950 having 1792 shaders would be something like an intensity of 16.8
Again not a huge deal but something to consider.
No shit. That's the entire point of xintensity. Awww shame...why sooo mean Wolf? Not my intention to be mean; I can be rather blunt when I've been awake for more than 60 hours or so. Understandable, it happens. All is forgiven. See jch9678, Wolf was just tired from all the tinkering and reporting back to us, that he has been doing. Thaaaank you Woooolf.

Hello Vertans, SimpleMulti will setup a test pool for Lyra2RE. http://www.simplemulti.com/news I expect it to arrive Monday-ish (but don't quote me on this). I hope the Windows wallet will be out by then. If not it's not a problem. I'm working like a maniac in the weekends so please forgive me for the delay of my thorough testing which shall be carried out on Monday. I'll test my 280x under Windows and using 0/1/2 monitors. Will post results using a lot of different drivers (+ settings, hash rate, temperature, power consumption, w/wo undervolt, stability). I will also try to parallelize mining with different games and programs like Photoshop. It will surely be a long day. That's good to hear. Thank you for putting in the time and effort, as well as for intending to let us know how it all goes.
