Another Atom driven FPGA-miner. One 12V single source - UPS via FET-Switch directly from 12 V accumulator.
Diskless (USB Stick) Ubuntu OS. Works very well, silent & stable.

What kind of UPS is that? UPSes that use 12V batteries usually don't provide all that much charging current, so the current draw of these boards might overload that or at least confuse it.

Its drawing from switching power supply or, in case of power failure, from accumulator (directly connected). FET-switch to prevent
return current damaging power supply. Actual current not more than 12 Amps - no problem at all.

37  Economy / Marketplace / The First Detox Clinic To Accept Bitcoin ! on: February 18, 2012, 02:05:19 PM
I am the managing director of a private Swiss clinic, offering opiate detox
for international patients since 1996. Our clinic decided to accept bitcoins
as payment from now on (an alternative to present payment processors).

At our international outpatient facility, we offer a rapid, gentle and
discreet 5-day escape from opiate dependence.

Link in the sig below.

Over 30 Years of experience in withdrawal and changing addictive behavior.

If you have some specific questions, PM me, we offer advice in advance of
treatments also.

We hope that this commitment will be one more small argument for bitcoin to
move on in the “real economy” - one could not longer say, that bitcoins are for “buying drugs only”, since
from this day on, treatment & rehab for painkiller addicts is offered too.

escape to life !

Hello from Switzerland

I am following bitcoin since June 2011 and since I got fascinated by this technology I am willing to contribute to such an elegant alternative to regular payment systems. I have already rebuilt all our rigs (formerly on boinc projects) to enable mining.

I  have now decided to also join the forums for two reasons:

From technical aspects I was learning a lot in the months since June, mining on win xp, linux and finally fpga`s was a big challenge and joy for the „engineer in me“. I am very grateful for the advice and descriptions provided in the forums, thanks to everybody involved !
There will be some more experience exchange hopefully.
