81  Other / Meta / Re: What's with all the new accounts named "`````", "^^^^^", etc? on: July 04, 2015, 11:44:59 PM
About a zillion of them were registered in the past few days. No posts. Is this someone's idea of a joke I'm not getting or do they actually expect to sell them?

I guess at least some part of their intention is spamming their web URL. Because those accounts are the first alphabetically they appear as soon as 'MEMBERS' is clicked. And guess what, their Website appears right there.

Considering there are 510,000+ users now I really think nobody cares about the list of users sorted alphabetically. IMO 'search for members' should appear when MEMBERS is clicked instead. The list of users should be a secondary option. That would save a click most of the times and would discourage people from creating spam accounts just to be first on the list.

They're idiots of they think it will work. That would put most people right off their website straight away. I mean who would actually say "oh look a spammer let's check out their website."
82  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Do we have a secure online wallet yet? on: July 04, 2015, 06:21:54 PM
Still using blockchain.Info I find it to be if decent security for my needs. I'm not exactly a BTCillionaire.

What is actually the safest wallet in you guys opinions? I'm not just talking about online ones either. I mean all types of wallet.

You know just in case I ever become a serious BTC success

Your artwork is beautiful. You are very talented.

They've got a unique complexity about them.

Wishing you luck with your project.

Reminds me of an article I read the other day. This happens a lot more often than you would think.

Last one I read a tiny microscopic creature ate away at her eye. Doctors had to keep her awake for ten days so she could put her eyedrops in every couple of minutes. She survived but has a permanently damaged eye.

The insect got in her eye when she splashed her face with tap water.

Horrific.
85  Other / Meta / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto is a member of this forum on: July 04, 2015, 10:54:20 AM
No one really knows who Satoshi is. Do you blame him for wanting to keep it this way? I guess he just doesn't want all the attention
86  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: July 04, 2015, 09:46:17 AM
As long as you're good at hiding when it is low enough to buy and high enough to sell.get your timing right
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is holding Bitcoin back? on: July 03, 2015, 06:20:36 PM
Although a lot of people are now accustomed to using credit cards. There are people (young and old) who are so used to money being a physical entity that they just can't seem to grasp the idea of currency being an entirely digital entity.

A few more years and they will get used to it though.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: July 03, 2015, 06:12:36 PM
Thee fact that it is decentralized. I hate the idea of putting all of my trust in the banking system which is not very reliable.

How convenient it is. The fact that I can send money to anyone, anywhere in the world with just their BTC address. Don't even need to know a thing about the person.

Also the Blockchain technology.
89  Other / Archival / Re: Do you know legit websites to buy cigarettes online? on: July 02, 2015, 03:09:10 PM
Have you tried the Electronic cigarrets?

I use them since 2 years now,

But i haven't seen yet any retailers selling for bitcoins, i really think is a good idea!

We don't know enough about e-cigarettes yet to say that they are even safe. Some scientists have said they might actually be worse for your health than actually smoking real cigs.

http://reason.com/blog/2015/01/22/does-formaldehyde-make-e-cigarettes-wors

Although don't worry too much about it because alot of 'em disagree and say of  course they are better for you.
At least you still get to smoke something, it's the act of smoking that makes us so addicted.

Get patches too and you shouldn't find it too difficult if you do decide to quit.

I'm a freaking chain smoker, need to cut down but just never get round to it.

How much would it cost me to get a quarter ounce of Amber Leaf?

Also do you ship to the UK?

I would be interested if it saves enough money to be worth it.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Updated] Choices for earning BTC interest on: July 02, 2015, 02:51:43 PM
What is the point in posting Chinese websites on an English speaking forum? I don't trust it.

Why can't you just translate what the writing says for us so we can atleast understand it?
92  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Hook-nosed people are evil on: July 01, 2015, 09:54:47 AM
I come up with a theory for this.

It actually could work the other way around. Evil people become hook-nosed. It's because of all the time they spend scowling and looking down their nose at people.

You knoww how they say you can judge a personality by the wrinkled they've got on their face. Like the lines around your eyes, crows feet are meanta mean a nice person, they also call them sympathy lines. The 11 between your eyebrows mean an angry person etc etc.

You can't tar everyone with the same brush but logically it does make sense.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ..Who owns this wallet?? on: June 30, 2015, 12:23:41 PM
Like some of the previous replies have said, it has got to be a business of some kind. I doubt so much that this is anybody's personal wallet.

At first glance it reminded me of one of them "Your BTC times 100" ponzi  websites when you view their transactions.

There's  a number of logical explanations for it though mind you.
94  Economy / Gambling / Re: [HELP] what's the best wining method of Roulette ? on: June 27, 2015, 09:20:33 AM
Use the Martingale but with lower bets. That way you get away with more consecutive losses before you go bust. Yes it takes a lot longer but at least you don't end up completely skint!
95  Other / Off-topic / Re: Selling weed online legally for BTC on: June 26, 2015, 11:56:24 PM
To be honest it'll probably be a while until even the legalised states of America can send and receive bud by mail. You know that would mean more getting shipped over to other places in the world where it is not yet legal.

You can still get nicked for having a small spliff in your pocket over here UK  Angry  The shitty thing is that they would actually arrest you for it aswell and treat you like a proper friggin' criminal. Arsehole pigs such control freaks, they should just allow people to live their lives, it's not like smoking weed ever killed anyone.
96  Other / Off-topic / Re: When was the last time you cried? on: June 26, 2015, 11:48:53 PM
Real men don't cry  Cool

Actually no. It takes a real man to cry. A guy has to be somewhat secure about his gender and sexuality to cry. Instead of hiding behind a tough guy persona.
97  Economy / Gambling / Re: winning tricks Calling Outs and ODDS Poker (POKER LOUNGE) on: June 26, 2015, 11:52:36 AM
I think there are no tricks in poker
It's all about maths and psychology, you have to know your chances and you have to know to read the opponents mannerism and strategies
+1 I have a friend who is a proffesional poker player and he just know maths and psychology he's work is playing in pokerstars in Portugal everyday.

My brother has competed in the national Poker tournament for London and always places very highly. H e hasn't won yet but he does bettter each time.
98  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Browser You Use on: June 25, 2015, 08:27:15 PM

99  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Beta - Bitcoin Aliens Android App (faucet) on: June 25, 2015, 08:18:49 PM
Been playing this game ever since it was first released. It's nice to be able to earn extra BTC whilst away from the computer.

It's just generally a well made app/game. Even if it didn't pay I would probably still play it.

Daniel D'Alien is a fucking legend.
100  Other / Meta / Re: TIL Activity does not work on precisely 2 week intervals + interval timings on: June 24, 2015, 12:44:03 PM
My activity finally updated yesterday, 23rd June 2015 just as OP said. Activity is still only 28 which is a good bit lower than my posts but at least it's no longer stuck on 14. So from what I can understand I am going to have to wait until the 7th of next month until next time my activity catches up a bit with my posts.  Huh

There's something I just can't understand though. With my old account "hanomnom" my posts and activity were always the same and used to update shortly after pretty much every post I made. Why is this new account so much slower at updating? I'm making about the same amount of posts per day as I did with the old account, maybe more.

I just want to understand as it is bugging me and I feel a bit stupid right now.

I'm most likely just misinterpreting the calculations or something. I apologize in advance for sounding like an idiot.
