306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the XMR pump all due some darkmarkets announcing they will add it? on: August 28, 2016, 11:48:24 PM

307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: August 28, 2016, 11:39:54 PM
Hello everyone, I need a little assistance...

I've got an old XMR wallet, and the keys file, but I can't seem to get it to open in the new version...

I don't recall having a password, but every time I tried to load the wallet, it asked me for one... I tried every possible one that I could think of to no avail... but like I said, I didn't remember having to put a password on it, and I thought that if I had the keys file I would always be able to get into the wallet. So I backed that up.

Can anyone help me to recover the funds that are in this wallet? It isn't a ton, but it's something, that I was planning on saving for a long time, just wanted to make sure that I could still access it.

I would really appreciate any assistance with this, have always really liked XMR, would be sad if my little mined wallet from a few years back won't be able to do what I wanted for it.

Thanks!

Pm smooth aka rpietilla. He can help you.

TorCoin. You proof of work is throughput on the network, a little for a bridge or middle node and a lot for an exit. Your Tor service is also a wallet and either the sender or the receiver has to spend to transmit data, and the spend is distributed among the nodes that handle it.

Somebody needs to invent something like this! Maybe they could start with a cryptocurrency with zero-knowledge proofs, and then add distributed public key messaging, then other features after that.

Afaik stealthcoin uses tor for sending/receiving.

311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Didn't Monero have massive problems in terms of blockchain size? on: August 23, 2016, 06:03:45 PM
It's a shit coin with big name/backing by old and left in the dust now, no reason to want to use it, thus it SHOULD die but doesn't.

It will get a pump then dump and be stagnant for a year.

Why don`t you fuck off asshole with your shitty signature campaign?!!!

This may be the big one fellas...

Why before 25.09. ?

Because of the financial collapse of the world.  Roll Eyes (That's the short answer. )

Since the beginning of BTC creation bitcoiners are calling for the financial crisis  Grin

No... This is not about BTCitcoin. Bitcoin is just transitioning another 2013 pump.... then next year we will see that 13-14x pump. But this year we will probably see 2-3k max.

But what we are talking about is the super shemitah cycle. It is the 7th year of the 7th cycle. The 49 year... and 343 years since the last mini ice age ended. (*777 things... the stuff of pixie dust & Legends!)

This shemitah cycle was to take place also last September (year 2015) according to bitcoiners  Grin

code: Centralized services are just ticking time bombs, if I remember correctly   XMR doesn't even have multisig support for the moment which means bye bye money.

Yes xmr does not support multisig so you have to trust your money to someone who may run away with that money anytime!!!

As I've always maintained, I expect bitcoin to fall to below $100 a piece. This chart is the long term one. Bitcoin is falling in wave (3) of C of II. Wave A is a leading diagonal. Wave B is a combination while wave C ( fall from 782.12 high, the part labelled ( Y ) ) is a developing impulse wave where waves (1) and (2) are complete. If bitcoin reaches to below $100 (as I expect), that will be your best opportunity to snatch as many as you can. Remember that once wave II completes , bitcoin will then make a sizable gain to beyond $2000 a piece.

The author of that prediction is a newbie here. Only fools can hope the price will dip under $100 !

I swear I knew nothing about bfx until half hour ago when I woke up  Grin

Its just a WXY zigzag from 778 high with W and Y of same length. Its a wave theory.

So what will happen next master?
