1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: November 21, 2015, 06:01:48 PM
Earning bitcoins includes various methods from faucets to trading to mining to signature campaigns.
Here's what they offer and which one i prefer myself.
First, faucets- they pay equal to almost nothing. They just promote new comers in bitcoins and nothing else, it's safe because of zero investment but it's too much low paying. It's worthless.
Secondly, trading - now payment here is variable, you may get loss or profit depending upon rates.. It's risky as it involves investment.
Thirdly, mining--  Mining involves large investment and pays high too, but you may get loss depending on certain factors..
Fourthly, Signature campaigns-- No investments needed and it's pays high too. No problem of loss..
According to me, signature campaigns are best , as there isn't investment and no problem of getting loss. You get paid for your work.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the Future of Bitcoin Lies in Europe on: November 21, 2015, 06:00:06 PM
Europe is a continent consisting of developing nations and bitcoins was developed in this continent too. It's the home of bitcoins.
Reasons behind its development is because it's completely being legalised in most of the countries there. Countries there are now trusting on bitcoins thoroughly.
Most of the oil and reserves in Europe are now using bitcoins in their business. Government of many countries in Europe are also planning to legalise bitcoins for use in parliamentary affairs ( just planning, not sure whether they will allow or not). People also priviledge bitcoins more there..
And these are the primitive reasons.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transactions speed prevent us from going to Mainstream ? on: November 21, 2015, 05:54:06 PM
Hmmm. So, bitcoin transactions take quite long time to confirm. As reported 15-20 minutes for confirmation. Now, as we have an example, when you are out at McDonald's for a lunch and at payment counter you keep standing for about 15 minutes waiting for your transaction to confirm? Well this can cost you and to the person whom you are paying some precious time. This is a hindrance for bitcoins on the path to becoming mainstream.
Solution to this cannot be done by us. It fully depends on our wallet providers. They should do some amendments in their system to make the process quicker. As definitely, no one can wait in this pace moving world.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shift - Bitcoin Visa Card - now available in the US on: November 21, 2015, 05:51:33 PM
Bitcoins have gained too much popularity recently and also USA is one of top countries in terms of number of bitcoin users.
Seeing interest of people in bitcoins, a new bitcoin visa card has been introduced by the government, the best thing about it is that it just works like a debit card of your bank account.. Which you can use as payment at retail shops. This makes you make transactions in those areas where you have poor connectivity but you want to use bitcoins for paying.  This is certainly appreciable and welcomable.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel about the negative reputation of the bitcoin currency? on: November 21, 2015, 05:50:24 PM
I have numerous times tried to explain people to NOT CONNECT BITCOINS WITH CRIME OR ANYTHING ELSE. Bitcoins are like guns which are good if used properly and may prove harmful if used wrongly. And as far as criminal cases through bitcoin are concerned. They don't happen everytime. Those cases are way too old and connecting same thing to all criminal attacks is hell absolutely wrong. We people enjoy our privacy, we love to do things online. This doesn't makes us criminals. Stop connecting bitcoins with all these.. And by the way, bitcoins aren't the only digital currency.. So think before you point the finger otherwise you may get it broken. -_-
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No fee market with small blocks thanks to BlockPriority of BTCChina on: November 21, 2015, 05:47:57 PM
Bitcoin has got some important reputation in China now. And many people are involved in mining there too. Fortunately, unlike some other brainwashed countries, china promotes usage of digital currencies.
And as a support, BTCC's BlockPriority has made transactions tax free for market with small blocks. All you have to do is send your transaction report to BTCC's mining pool. And that's enough for rapid confirmation. This step all in all is going to boost bitcoin in china a lot.
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Looking For Web Wallet with no Transaction Fee on: November 20, 2015, 05:18:47 PM
Hmm. Prices of everything is going up. And then you have to pay transaction fees too. This is really a heavy stone on your pocket. As far I have seen other wallets , Coinbase is best for misers (lol) ..
Its got zero transaction fees, but sometimes transactions take long time to get confirm, but that's not that big of a deal in front of huge transaction fees.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Share Tips And Trick To Get BTC on: November 20, 2015, 05:18:03 PM
Earning bitcoins isn't as simple but not that difficult too..
Earning methods comprises of farming faucets, trading and mining.
Farming faucets isn't a good method. Its quick though but very less paying. Another method is trading. A tip here is that when you have a good amount of bitcoins, you shouldn't be in a hurry to sell them. Waiting for price hike can be better and more earning. Yes, there's a risk here that price may go down too, but without risk, you can't progress.
Now, for mining working in groups can make you a little bit more earning as you will be able to mine more in same investment.
Well, other methods like gambling and ransom and kidnapping are there but I don't guess it will suit you.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Using wallet without synchronization? on: November 20, 2015, 05:08:54 PM
Synchronizing refers to updating your account with the latest data. ( like synchronizing emails).
And if you won't have latest updated data... Certainly it won't be good and also as per officially there's no way to stop it. And also after transactions, you need to synchronize to update your balance.
If you are stuck with problem of slow Internet, then in my opinion getting a faster connection is a better and simple option.
10  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: What's happening in blockchain? on: November 20, 2015, 05:07:09 PM
I have myself faced this problem twice. Once in blockchain and once in Coinbase. Actual reason behind this is that confirmation is taking long as mainly you are sending bitcoins to a different wallet provider. (E.g- bitcoin to Coinbase).
This usually takes some good amount of time in some cases. In some cases it happens in a snap. Whereas others, it can take up to a day or few days too. There's no actual reason told by blockchain about it. But, it's just for adding more security for transactions to other provider's wallet.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin ever goes mainstream on: November 20, 2015, 04:37:13 PM
Really? Are you serious?
If bitcoins ever go mainstream, one of my dreams will be accomplished. Bitcoins really deserve to be mainstream, and here's what I think will happen when they become mainstream.
(1) Least usage of fiat currencies-- Fiat? Cash? What's that? This is what people will ask as cash will be seen not at all.
(2) More technologically advanced-- People will get to use digital currencies and certainly people will be using technology more.
(3) Less corruption-- -- Money will be transferred by government to people directly. No ministers to eat in between.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin issues on: November 20, 2015, 04:30:21 PM
I have been using bitcoins for a few months now. And I guess there are some things which I think have caused me some difficulties. I only have two difficulties as follows.
(1) Price Changing Suddenly-- It really hurts and creates problems when rates go down and value of bitcoins decreases though being same in number of coins.
(2) 90% Shops don't accept bitcoins in my area and thats a huge problem for me as my btc usually stays lied in wallet.
13  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Paris France ISIS Killer had $3 million dollar BTC Wallet *FAKE* *UPDATED* on: November 20, 2015, 04:29:14 PM
Spreading of rumours is not a new thing. Its happening since life started on earth. So has happened in this very case. Bitcoin has many enemies which are always ready with their guns loaded waiting for the right moment for a headshot.
Journalist who spread this rumour must be against principle of bitcoins and thats why he took advantage of Paris attacks and gave a shot by spreading rumours at right moment. As informed by investigative community, its all fake. And bitcoins still remain in their proud position. And it's cleared that ISIS used Russian currency for their weapons. So, bitcoins have no involvation in this manner.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Digital currencies to solve problems on: November 20, 2015, 04:26:42 PM
Digital currencies have now been around here with us for quite a little long time. For some, it's an old thing, for some it's a whole new scenario. Now, as per my opinion digital currencies have solved our numerous problems. They've given us advantages in plenty amount.
(1) They solve problems of theft and stealing, (ransom and kidnapping may exist though)
(2) They have made transactions possible from distance and quicker than ever!
(3) They provide you more secure wallets. (Your leather wallet in pocket can be taken out easily by someone, not in case of digital currency.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BIG NEWS: Europen Union Cracking Down on Bitcoin on: November 20, 2015, 04:25:48 PM
I still really don't understand why the hell people connect terrorism with bitcoins. They both are whole different things.
I know that bitcoins can be used for criminal and terrorist attacks too, but how can you be so sure about it?..cracking down on bitcoins will do absolutely nothing. If a person shoots someone , then you'll take actions against police or the gun?
I guess this explains it all.
16  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: hacking bitcoin transactions on: November 19, 2015, 04:41:31 PM
You are missing everything. Bitcoins work on a different security algorithm, simply modifying transactions and sending bitcoins to your address will never happen.
Wallet providers are not idiots, they use multi layered security and these methods won't work for it. I don't know the actual method, as I'm not interested in doing hacking. But, whatever it is.. It is complicated.
17  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Limited number of bitcoin addresses on: November 19, 2015, 02:32:02 PM
We have been taught since childhood that numbers don't end anywhere, they go on till infinity. So, mathematically it's impossible for numbers to get end. So, is in the case of wallet addresses.. And wallet address comprises of alphabets too , so it's currently in near future tough for them to get finished.
But, even though it happens in future, simple solution is increasing or decreasing number of digits. But, currently it's not a matter to really think upon.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best bitcoin wallet on: November 19, 2015, 02:30:48 PM
Bitcoin wallets is where you store your bitcoins. Without them, you cannot use bitcoins. But, selecting a secure wallet is important. In fact, most important.. Because, losing bitcoins means burning cash.
Now, according to my usage and researches and what I have found. These are the wallets which i found trusted and useful.
(1) Coinbase- they provide more privacy as they have their own privacy team separately. Best thing is that transactions are completely tax free.
(2) Blockchain- It has got the most number of usets. So no doubt on security. It's trusted most by miners too.
(3) Mycelium wallet- It's git very low transaction fees and provides the best backup system for private keys. You can use multiple wallets at once.
19  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: November 19, 2015, 02:29:22 PM
Bitcoins are a convenient currency, there's no doubt on that, but investing in bitcoins can be a risk too..it can be your best decision or worst decision. Now, if your investment on bitcoins fails, then you will obviously have a great loss.
So, bitcoins are Good, but going full time on them is still insecure, and you need to think about it twice!..
20  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: November 19, 2015, 02:28:43 PM
Bitcoins are used everywhere in the world, whether in large or small proportions. It is accepted by some websites also for payment. But, it is still not accepted in many retail stores. Reason?
Bitcoin is not used by each and everyone. They will only accept bitcoin when it's used by majority, which has still not happened.
So, i don't have any choice to spend them. Currently, i use it for recharges.
